As a makeup artist and hair-stylist I think you’d look amazing with really dewey, bronzed skin (a la Jennifer Lopez) with a strong brow and soft Veronica Lake waves. On your eyes I would do a very soft wash of light light brown shadow with a hint of shimmer. Lisa Eldridge does amazing YT videos on similar looks. A red lip might be too much with such a statement dress, but I think with the rest of the makeup fresh and light, a beautiful matte deep red lip would look amazing. Definitely nude/gold strappy heeled sandals and a very very simple nude/gold clutch to keep it young. And I would say no earrings or jewelry other than maybe one or two gold rings. ♥️
I think if you do a light matte smokey eye with like warm tones just to deepen your crease, and open the eye, it'll make your eyes pop without overpowering a red lip. Megan, being that your seasons are the reverse of ours here in the northern hemisphere, when you think of November, December, and January, do images of summer things come to mind? Are all the advertisements related to these months summer themed? Is Christmas depicted on a beach??? I just find it so fascinating that, culturally, I’ve come to link those months exclusively to images of falling leaves and snow.

my suggestion: red dress nude heels (makes legs seem longer) red lips, cat eye & maybe some warm brown eyeshadows in the crease to shape and warm up the look hollywood old glam-style hair nude nails with red accents for the clutch i'm not so sure, it kind of depends what's available to you but in general i would choose something subtle to give the dress it's time to shine

Originally I was going to say a smokey eye and nude lip but looking at pictures of you, I think you might be happier with a bright lip, so maybe keep the eye more neutral with a bit of shimmer. If you don't have a budget for new shoes/clutch, I would pick strappy sandals in a colour you already have but I think a nude/gold would look beautiful.
