I think the sooner anyone can get Palmer in, the better! Maddison could easily come on for 20 mins against Ipswich and get a couple of returns but if it was my team, and the only move I needed to make, I'd go for Palmer.
Dunno how the algorithm works, but this defence looks real bad. Like really bad. Going forward from GW12 to GW20 United and Chelsea have the best run of fixtures, and your team doesn't have a single defender from them, apart from Sanchez?! Also Walker is back so Lewis isn't nailed down at all. Next, picking a Brentford player in WC is again a pretty tough choice as they have a really tough run of fixtures upcoming! Finally, coming to forwards, Forest has a really, like really tough run of fixtures so bringing Wood into the squad now looks suicidal!
Thanks for your comment, though I feel you may have skipped over parts of the video where I give my reasons; just to clarify: 1:45 - The gap in points between cheap and expensive defenders is quite small as in no one is really keeping clean sheets consistently, so it would be a good place to save funds and invest in another premium. 0:45, 5:16 & 7:56 - You’re right, Chelsea & Man Utd do have great fixtures, but I would go double Chelsea attack for those rather than double defence. For Man Utd, there’s no form and we don’t yet know who Amorim will play where (will it be a back 3 etc.). Once it’s settled then you could easily swap a Mykolenko for a Mazraoui, for example. 2:50 - Nobody for Man City is nailed, so I’d save money and still go for Lewis as he can fit in the line-up multiple ways and if he is rested you don’t feel too bad as you’ve not invested a lot of funds in him. 5:45 - I mention that Brentford’s fixtures are a risk, but in the short term there’s still value there if you’re wildcarding (maybe not as a free transfer), as well as potential alternatives. A lot of people will already own him so if that’s the case now wouldn’t be the time to sell. 9:10 - Forest do have tougher fixtures coming up, but it doesn’t mean they won’t score goals. I look at those teams’ defences and only really Arsenal away is a game where they may not. I also say that Wood may not keep his run going, but until he stops scoring why would we ignore him. Hope that helps explain my thoughts.
should i go maddison to palmer this week or next
