We have remained vegetarian despite difficulties of finding vegetarian food items in 1960s, 70s, and 80s. I have personally known and experienced. For example - only five Sanatan families in a US town will drive 300 miles one way to pickup Bhartiya groceries from a western Metropolitan city across the country (need passport to cross) every other month. Families will take turn and bring car full of high priced imported Bhartiya groceries for each family in town in 60s, 70s, early 80s - why? We want to remain Sanatan Dharmis and want to pass that way of life to kids. 2. We did not have temples or Guru Dwara - we established one at home taught our kids to pray our way. 3. We worked saved money for building temple / gurdwaras in our town. Sponsored and paid prists to migrate and run temples. 4. We will not keep servant though we could afford one - clean all our home overselves, iorn our clothes every week for two hours and kids go to school in iored clothes. We did have machines to do laundry, and utensils but you have to do it yourself. We in true sense practiced "swashrayi jivan". We still read Gita, etc 5. Every Thursday evening those families from (Gujarat, Andhra, Tamilnadu, Pune,..) got together and did Satsang, Bhajans. Why so many Sadhus and Sanyasis come to US - Just for money? No - they all started coming to support us and guide us and encourage us to keep following Sanatan Dharma in western countries. So Aacharyaji you have erred and insulted us. If you call yourself a Sanatan Dharmi then no matter what, you owe us an applogy. Vande Mataram.
