At first I thought "Oh cool, they are using the two different uniforms to define the set". After a few minutes I completely forgot this was two different bands and just enjoyed the large band performing. Great stuff!
Marched with MSU in the 70's. So proud. Still march with the alumni band and stroll (as we do at all home games) with the MSU Alumni Band Strollers. Love playing (trombone) for the tailgaters, especially today with such an excitement in the air. Great combined halftime show! Thanks. Greater victory!! Thanks!
Just Great! That's what college football 🏈 is all about. In spite of all the rivalry, MSU and Michigan can put up such a great halftime performance together. Congrats 🎉 to both schools !
Had the opportunity to watch the Spartan marching band practice this a few days ago with my sons school and it was awesome. Even better with them all together.
Biggest damn marching band I've ever seen. And quite possibly the best. How in hell did you guys manage to learn drills with the bands intermingled like that? Did you end up just racking up lots of bus miles between EL and AA this week to practice?
Both bands learned their drills independently, then the morning of the game the two bands finally rehearsed together for about an hour, and that was all the rehearsal time they got before this performance!
I came here to see the full video cuz I saw MSU’s Tiktok of this one guys perspective ( starts at 10:32 ) and it was amazing so I had to see the whole video!!
I’m SO glad this was uploaded!! I tried to get video of it for my seven year old but could only record so much from our seats. He’s a big fan of Halloween and LOVED this performance. Well done!!
