- The 38th edition of the TD Halifax Jazz Festival is getting set to move, inspire and bring music lovers together throughout the city. The event runs from Tuesday, July 9th until Sunday, July 14th this year. Headliners for the 2024 edition include Emmylou Harris, Killer Mike, Fitz and the Tantrums and Matt Anderson & The Big Bottle of Joy. Executive Director Tenille Goodspeed and Artistic Director Andrew Jackson describe what It’s like scheduling and executing one of the city’s biggest musical events. And they offer insight into how they balance the different musical styles and artists who come together for this long-running event.
