To me, Fennic's probe droid mor closely resembled the little probe droid that Embo used on Scipio in the Clone Wars. Edit: The six armed droid with all the knives appears to be of the same model of food service droid that was on the refugee ship that Anakin and Padme took to Naboo in Attack of the Clones.
So if he invested that well that it should have compounded many times over by now. I would love a scene where Boba meets up with his financial advisor.

The cyber guts in Fennic Shand, reminds of Luke's cyber hand in Empire. Emdo in Clone Wars had mini-ball droids too. A chef droid was also in Attack of the Clones.
This was my favorite episode yet! I know in y’all’s review you mentioned some of the scenes feeling long, but I love that in a 40 minute TV episode we have time to actually give time to explore locations like the Palace and to actually show how much time it takes to traverse Tatooine by Bantha- I prefer a deliberate pace that forces audiences to be patient, like Boba has to
Man, it seems like people are gonna hate older movies lol. The whole point of long walks is to establish the scale and atmosphere of the location. Sure, you can just cut to the location, but then you get Falcon and Winter Soldier, where every scene seems like a soulless montage to quickly get to the plot.

Someone mentioned that there is a building that looks like a hollowed out set building during a aerial fly over of Mos Espa that was a gaffe. It actually was the Cantina destroyed in Mandalorian, when Moff Gideon was trying to get the child.
The concept art behind the credits showed the hangar up high in the palace, indicating that that the continuity check with the Battlefront map to place the hangar at ground level occurred somewhere between the concept art and production.
Anyone else notice the sound effect that played when Fennec burned through the bars when entering the sewer grate was the same noise from when Anakin decapitated Dooku in Revenge of the Sith?

This episode was great it was a big step up from the last episode with the speeder gang and I think we've a lot to look forward to going forward with all these potential people who could join Boba like bosk, cad bane and especially Mando! 8/10

I loved this episode, especially seeing the LEP service droid! I felt at times, especially that scene, it was paced like an episode of The Clone Wars. I really geeked out. Also when the Slave 1 was hovering overnight the sarlacc pit and everything got quite... I really enjoyed the episode
After the scuffle at the Oasis, the owner says "Hit it Max" and the band starts up. So presumably Max Rebo is still getting gigs years down the line. Good for him
It's not just that Wookiees are hunted by Trandoshans. It's also that Black Krrsantan's twisted version of the Life Debt concept is that he needs to pay back Trandoshans for all the pain they inflicted on him. So I had no doubt he was going to ignore Garsa's pleads.
Just me who felt that the scene with the chief droid spinning it's arms around before Fennic cuts it's neck is suppose to have a similar feeling to the swords man in Indiana Jones and The Lost Ark. Showing of it's skills with blades, building up to a big fight before being killed with a single attack. Idk I just felt it was very similar in build up.
I’m predicting that the chef droid is going to become part of Disney’s Star Wars experience somewhere. It looked mostly practical so I’d be shocked if they don’t have one of those around like the pilot droids

I don’t know if anyone has said this but the map that Fennec’s probe droid brings up for them has the same general look as the holographic level maps that BD-1 projects in Jedi: Fallen Order. I’m sure holographic maps have appeared multiple times before I’m the saga but this one really made me feel like I had just put FO on pause.

Now to be fair I understand the confusion for some considering the Wookiee/Trandoshan blood feud has not been explained in live action and really couldve been mentioned, but at the same time, this rather huge acussation and usage of such an extreme term feels like an overreaction. I know, shocking, some Star Wars fans overreacting. What a new and not at all overdone and tiresome development.
One thing that didn't make sense was the scene with the flares. Toro and djin capture phennic and toro watched her till morning, but boba doesn't get to her till the next night. Why did it take boba so long to get there? It didn't look like he was a whole day away from them!
Yuzzums were also featured in the Ewoks animated show, although they look nothing like them like half the things in that show, however that's why the name sounded so familiar to me. Joh Yowza though... I mean, yowza, that's a reference alright.

Nah, I just went and checked the movie, at about 1:06:45 they drop they seismic charge, Jango pushes the button and it isn't even the same button that's pushed here. In Book of Boba, Fennec has to reach up onto like an overhead panel, in Attack of the Clones, Jango just reaches forward and pushes a button on the panel in front of him and Boba.
I’m almost 100% positive the Mandolarian will be acquiring Slave 1 . It will be the way to give Mando a ship finally , not waste this side story , and have a lasting imprint of boba fett on the story going forward after we leave him . This move not only just makes sense for the story but it easily explains away the name change of the ship for Disney and they can escape the backlash while keeping the iconic ship in the franchise . So , if I was a betting man . . . I’d say this is how it all works out .

Was Phase I clone armour stronger than Phase II? Fives is killed by a blaster bolt to his presumably Phase II chestplate, while Rex is hit with one in Star Wars Rebels, lives, and says Phase I is great. So, was it stronger? It seems they're equally useless at stopping blaster bolts in The Clone Wars, so is there another factor at play? Rex's modifications? The age of the droids and their weaponry? Or was Rex's armour just powered by plot?
Not exactly a cameo, but I really enjoyed them talking about how Boba was now fully healed. It showed that they knew people were going to be unhappy with Bobas fighting ability in the first couple of episodes
Does no one remember that we've seen that model of chef droid before? There was one on the transport that Anakin and Padme used to get to Naboo undercover in Attack of the Clones! It even backtalked Artoo for lining up for food despite being a droid!
Additional Easter Egg: the Chef Chopping droid is also the same type of droid that is in Attack of the Clones on the refugee ship that Anakin and Padme travel to Naboo on.
If it's not EV-9D9 then the voice sure sounded absolutely identical. Since 3PO units have different voices and astromechs even have different beep sounds. So it seems to me like they were implying this is EV-9D9. Maybe that's why he was sold to work in the cantina.
Reminded me a lot of the ultimate sith edition extra level of the force unleashed where Starkiller attacks Jabba’s palace and kills Boba Fett inside the hangar of the palace

I've been saying it a lot but I don't think Robert Rodriguez is suited to direct this series. The two episodes he hasn't directed have been awesome.

Fives is killed by a blaster bolt to his presumably Phase II chestplate, while Rex is hit with one in Star Wars Rebels, lives, and says Phase I is great. So, was it stronger? It seems they're equally useless at stopping blaster bolts in The Clone Wars, so is there another factor at play? Rex's modifications? The age of the droids and their weaponry? Or was Rex's armour just powered by plot?

Additional Easter Egg: the Chef Chopping droid is also the same type of droid that is in Attack of the Clones on the refugee ship that Anakin and Padme travel to Naboo on.
If it's not EV-9D9 then the voice sure sounded absolutely identical. Since 3PO units have different voices and astromechs even have different beep sounds. So it seems to me like they were implying this is EV-9D9. Maybe that's why he was sold to work in the cantina.
