Modern movies don't have such magical music anymore. Horner is my favourite film composer because watching Cocoon when i was young changed my life for the better. As so many other films of the era did.
Good question. As far as I know, Cocoon isn’t officially available anywhere for streaming. The current owners of the studio that made the film still haven’t cleared the music rights yet.

We lost a truly great composer when we lost him to a plane crash in 2015.
