This Berry Color looks gorgeous on you ❤ Thanks for showing also the not so happy plants, sometimes I need to remember that this is completely normal and nothing to stress about
great collection Roos! well done for powering through! hope you got some rest afterwards! my favourite from your collection is the HU and my favourite in mine is my pallidiflorum, and heck yeah for plants paying our mortgages!
Love this video! Started collecting Anthuriums last year and this video is giving me lots of inspiration. I also learned a lot from the anthuriums I have. Maybe some other starters can use my experience too. I learned also a lot from others: Clarinervium: if you like rocking a one leave anthurium its something for you. He is actually kinda forgiving, I drowned mine and he pulled through. But we are forever stuck in the one leave at the time. Michelle: really forgiving and grows pretty fast. I forgot to water her a few times and she doesnt mind at all. Also can handle pests really well. Had trips a while back and didnt get that much damage from it. Silver blush: trips magnet. I dont know how, but it always has trips. Doesnt seem to mind it tho. Also really forgiving with watering too much or too little. Forgetii (dark form), have this one a few months now and it is doing fine. Noticed it prefers to be more to the dry side before watering. Slow grower tho, still no new leaves but flowered. Crossed it with the Michelle, I hope I did it right and he will grow seeds. Veitchii: fast grower and likes a bit of help with unfolding new leaves (not good for my bad habbit of unfolding leaves). Really forgiving with irregulair watering. Sizes up really fast. I have my anthuriums in the living room but with a growlight and they all look quit happy about it. Tomorrow or friday I will recieve a Noid varigated. I am so excited about it. I am getting really addicted to anthuriums and this video doesnt help, added a lot new ones to my wishlist😂
@plantwithroos I am way too shy to do youtube haha, but I can make a video/picture for a reaction video or something 😊 Are you planning on doing a reaction video of collections of your subscribers?
@@plantwithroos love the concept, gives a lot of inspiration. I will make a video/ picture of my anthuriums you maybe can use, maybe the monsteras too. We will ignore the philodendrons. Those clearly dont want to excist in my house 🤣
I love it! I love it! I love it! I got the king of spades because of yours Unfortunately the new leaf is damaged as it unfurls but keeping it because it’s bigger! Love it’s skinny veins❤
Haha thank you!! Awww they're so cool, it sucks when they come out damaged but it's part of Anthurium unfortunately 😅 the next one will hopefully be better again!
Your makeup looks fabulous, Roos! You're beautiful inside and out! And your excitement and enthusiasm is infectious 🎉💚🌿 and I really appreciate that you share the good bad and ugly! Anthurium are not my favorite. But I love watching you. The only ones I have are vittarifolium, pallidiflorum, and wendlingeri. #ilovestrappyleaves I'm really looking forward to your hoya video 🎉 Happy holidays ♥️ 🥰
Roos you look so beautiful! And your anthurium are so beautiful too! Thanks for this long video. 🎄 the black jack is stunning and I am very interested to see what you have created.. I need help with begonia.. My Hoya are pains in my butt.😂
love the winged eyeliner, looks nice. I used to dislike Luxurians dont know how or when that changed but i loooove them now. I have a Lux x Crystal Mag and that plant never lets me down. I found a pest and ended up chopping it down to a stump (the thing was ONLY a small 2 leaf seedling) but it survived that! it roots like crazy and can live in any conditions its my fave. I also have about 10 regular pure luxurians haha but thats cuz i bought a bunch of seeds. I also have a Lux x Magnificum i cannot wait to see how that one turns out. I jus love the reptilian feel :) thanks for sharing your collection
@plantwithroos that are the best evenings when all my favourite planty people upload a video 😍😍😍 I really enjoyed your anthurium tour and am a bit envious about some 😂😂😂😂
You Look very beautyful with and without your Make-up😘♥️ I remember your accident back then. And I like to know how you are doing today. I've often seen in your videos how you struggle with it and I wish you good health.🍀
Great collection and nice video 😊 I would like to see non popular plants not the genera you mentioned 😅 it would be refreshing video from all known popular plant genera
I don't think I have that many.. It could be all my small collections, like pings and one dioscorea and 2 scindapsus and a few ferns? Terrarium plants?
@plantwithroos thats great! I mean it's been a while since people are showing the Fern collection nowadays. In early 2020 s there were many other genera collections. But i understand social media and plant collections sometimes are demanding 😊
I'm not sure if this was in my content, I've always been very aimed towards aroids and hoya, and added begonia a few years ago. Call me a basic b!tch, but that is what i love! 😅❤️
The one Anthurium I struggle to grow is Anthurium clarinervium, delta force is created from that somehow! The roots are super thick so they need a more airy soil to not suffocate the roots.
@plantwithroos I saw your short video also, but I had just ordered 2 baby anthurium (clarinervium and Delta force). I prefer thick roots and I use a lot of pine bark in the medium, hopefully they will both grow and thrive for me :)
I get rid of pest in one day I don’t let them stay oh no I can’t I would die I spray with alcohol and dip plant in a soapy mix with mint Castille soap not too much soap tho a drop is good and 70%alcohol and wipe all leaves and then spray neem oil mix with water neem oil 70%alcohol and drop of castille soap mint amd spray on plant after I cleaned off whole plant
I'm glad that works for you! For me spray would also kill all my good bugs so I don't use it, plus it's a lot of work with this many plants. Keep in mind that some pests like thrips lay their eggs inside the leaf tissue, so spraying will not kill those. ❤️
@@plantwithroosyes for thrips I squish the eggs and kill adult but I never get thrips mostly just spider mites I only dealt with thrips once snd hsve over 100 plants I lost count 🤣and yes I love neem oil just gotta be on top of it I notice
I wanted to share this message via TH-camrs. Since you follow many organic lifestyles with no chemicals, good bugs, natural practices, I would like to request that plant community pay a lot of attention in using fertilizers. Watering over the sink is such a bad practice as the phosphate from the soil drains and contaminates water bodies. This causes eutrophication which kills marine animals.
that's interesting, i never water in the sink and reuse drained out water for other plants. plus i use organic fertiliser, which might have a different effect than non-organic ones? but still good to know, thank you for sharing!
Hey everyone, sorry to be so late! I had some internet issues. Hope you enjoy this extra long video!!
I really appreciate how you and Jan normalize imperfect leaves on our plants. Plants are hardly “perfect” in nature. 😊
Exactly! It's normal, and I'm glad that's coming across.
I need plant friends like you. That luxurium one you guys grew is gorgeous.
Haha thank you!
I can't for the life of me keep anthuriums happy. I'm happy to get to enjoy them through other people. Lovely collection, Roos!
Hahah sometimes that the best way! 😅❤️
Happy holidays ❤
This Berry Color looks gorgeous on you ❤

Thank you! And yes it's all part of nature, it will be ok! ❤️❤️

Ooo Roos! I can’t wait to see the Blackjack x Pali cross! 😍 I bet it’s going to be stunning!
I'm sooo excited!!!
I LOVE velvet leaves and also iridescent leaves. Saved a baby queen anthurium for myself after selling the other babies.
Yesss they're so special!

Thank you so much! ♥️ I'm planning the Hoya one, I filmed my sad ones right after the renovation so it will be fun to see how (if) they came back!

thank you very much lovely! begonia video incoming, for you ;) x
Any Carla or Dark phoenix hybrid look so 🔥🔥🔥. Love the nails and makeup ❤ Begonias or Hoyas’s next 😊

Ooh that's impressive! Thank youuuu ❤️
Oh no, not you and Claire posting the Anthurium Collection 😭😍 that's so bad for my purse 😂😂😂😂 I think your toilet setup is awesome 😅😅
Oh haha did we sync up? Haha I just saw Ferm posting as well 😅

Begonia or Philos please❤🎉Loved rhis video, thank you some much and hope you have amazing weekend!
Thank you, same to you!
I don’t have an anthurium wendi but it’s normal for them to have that leaf pattern where it feels irregular. The pallidiflorum is smooth tho.
Thank you! Yes my palli is smooth 👌❤️
A vote for Hoya! ❤
Awesome! Thank you
You look very pretty. 🙂

Thank you very much! ❤️
I find that my regale only does well if I rap moss around the exposed stem might be with a try
That's great! I used to do that actually, I don't know why I stopped. Thank you!
Ok i have only 3 babyanthurium. 😅 i like your Black Jack very much.
Next Hoya 🥰 i love your big meredithii ♥️.
Oh nice! Thank you ❤️❤️

You don't need makeup..💚
I don't, and don't wear it often. But it's fun! And it's my choice 😅🙌
@plantwithroos I get it! Lol
I did not understand exactly why Delta force lost all the roots and why it's care is different than other anthurium... ❤
The one Anthurium I struggle to grow is Anthurium clarinervium, delta force is created from that somehow! The roots are super thick so they need a more airy soil to not suffocate the roots.
