  • Hi, Guys! Today we are covering how to install a hard front wig. This is going to be a wig tape install. Hard front wigs are a little different because they don't have the lace in the front to glue down. In this wig installation tutorial, we are looking at my favorite method for this type of install. This is a wig tape tutorial so this is a no glue application method. I find that double-sided wig tape is the easiest way for me to get in nice and secure. This synthetic wig hack is something all wig beginners should know. So, if you ever wondered how to use wig tape this is the video for you!

    So how do we take it off, does it just pull off, or do we have to use a product to get it off? Do you have a video on that, how to remove you wig after you glue or tape it down?

    • @JesseMSimons
      @JesseMSimons  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I use micellar water and a qtip to just gently get it off my skin. Usually if I have it on all day by the end of the day it comes up pretty easily. I will definitely work on a video though on how to take different tapes/glues off. Thank you. 😊

    I really wanted to like hard front wigs! but that unnatural/ wiggy hairline is pretty obvious, unfortunately.

    • @JesseMSimons
      @JesseMSimons  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I understand that. I mainly use hard front wigs as my grab and go when I'm going to be covering up my head or doing something that might be messy. (going to the beach) They are easy to alter. Cheap to replace and saves me from using more expensive pieces.

    • @denisepaulsenful
      @denisepaulsenful 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes i have to agree here. I can see the gap between the tape and your wig quite obviously here but i appreciate your efforts. Got 2 b glued would be a much better choice for a hard front which i absolutely avoid as a regular wig wearer. And I don’t know why any wig wearer would choose a hard front. To me they all scream fake.

    What do you think, it you take wide tape and Instal a wig on cap and skin, feels more secure to me 🤷🏼‍♀️

    • @JesseMSimons
      @JesseMSimons  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can if you want to do it that way. I don’t usually like putting tape on my hair so I go with the spray but either will work. 😊

    What is a hard front wig? Is it a silk top?

    • @JesseMSimons
      @JesseMSimons  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has a rubberized scalp front and usually looks very wiggy at the hairline because of it.
