Hi Abel love your Camp 🏕️ Site it’s Awesome and Amazing and the food 🍱 is delicious Awesome Amazing mmmm delicious the Scenery is Amazing and Beautiful 😊
@@AbelandVictoria Thanks for the explanation. I'm learning. Here in Canada, fire bans are for entire provinces and therefore cover thousands of square km at once.
I am a bushwalker with 40 years experience. I watch your battles and admire your solutions and really enjoy seeing a younger person doing what I have loved all my life. It is fascinating to see the continued improvement of gear and some of the innovative ways of using tech. The basic needs of comfort and safety, against the elements, never really change. Probably the best single optional piece of your gear, in terms of the utility it offers you, is the elevated fly sheet (tarp) over the tent. Being able to sit under it to cook & pass the time, and to pack absolutely everything including the tent, under cover, in the heavy rain and only having to deal with a thoroughly wet fly, as the last item, is absolutely fantastic.🇦🇺
Another great camp in the rain. Who said Summer had to be so dry. LOL. We've been getting quite a bit of rain here in Melbourne and I was wondering if it crossed the ditch and made it to you guys. I'm guessing that would be a bit of a stretch. At least you have all the gear to make your camps in the weather safe and bearable. Loved the video Abel, thanks for all your work mate. Hope you found a few good camp sites for future camps. Looking forward to the next adventure. By the way, finally got the filter papers for my V60, enjoying lovely coffee and now you show us another coffee method. Is there no end. LOL
I have to agree with you mate. I've been drinking coffee for a lot of my 74 years and was going through a 12 cup pot of brewed coffee each day. The V60 makes a much nicer cup even with ALDI coffee once you get the ratio right. Not sure if I'm drinking any less though. We've had some really stormy weather over the ditch last week so I imagine it's heading your way. On your bike young fella. Enjoy. By the way, why no video from your drone anymore. They were great clips of your beautiful country.
Hey, Abel!🙋🏾♀️Great video! Love the Nemo Kunai⛺with its orange fly. And that rainstorm🌧️🌧️ was intense! Yes, it was 'grim' as Tony(ABCamping) would say.😂😉And that was a delicious looking dinner. The wagyu beef ribeye 🥩so tender!... another fantastic camp!! Really enjoyed it! See ya next time!🙋🏾♀️👍🏽🤗
Great video Abel! I can tell how excited you get when the storms come through. That's what it's all about. Having fun and a good time when you are camping. I love hot chocolate, I have some before I go to bed almost every night. It kinda helps me to relax. It won't be long it will be winter there and I was wondering if you ever use a hot tent in the winter? Enjoyed watching the adventure! Hope you and Victoria have a great week!
Hi been watching your camping videos, I think that tarp is worth its weight in gold on your campsite, it takes a massive amount of water off your tents, and gives you another room, like, 😅 Victoria ❤ 👍👍👍😆😆😆🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧love the fantastic views
Hi Abel those bacon and egg sandwiches looked delicious I think I will have to get a flight from 🇬🇧Britain and try one with you . Brilliant video Mate Thanks
This video was so relaxing and soothing to watch. I could almost feel the rain and the wind on my skin. You guys have such a great chemistry and sense of humor. I love how you support each other and make the best out of every situation. You inspire me to go camping more often. Thank you for this wonderful video. 😊😊😊
Whoa Root that rain is absolutely stoking! So cosy absolute love it! Harder the better! Great video as usual! You didn’t say “Deluge” once! My favourite condition! Relentless rain (only when your setup is done thought! Haha 😂 take it easy!
Maybe you can copy Tony and have coffee time. Talk about your equipment, questions, plans etc while having your coffee and sharing your great gourmet coffee experience. Although, there is something good in being unique.
I camped a lot when I was younger, and most of the time alone, I love nature, thank you for bringing me these memories, a big hug from a follower from Brazil.
This from the perspective of a Yank: I enjoy your heavy-weather vids, especially the sound of the rain. You get good camera angles. Your lenses stay magically dry. I usually don't bother to go hiking unless I'm going to camp in some combination of rain, wind, thunder, and snow. I enjoy hearing the tempest rage outside, while I'm warm and dry on the inside. I would suggest that if you want to market to a Yank demographic, you get a beanie of a more muted color unless the purple beanie is your way of coming out of the closet. It might be a generational thing. I suppose you could make it your trademark.
Lol my grandma knitted it for me. It reminds me of her and I like it. If the colour disrupts you or you insinuating things from it maybe consider that it’s just a colour lol.
Looks like you found yourself a great campsite. Your breakfast bacon/egg/cheese sandwiches made my mouth water. I enjoyed your video and I tune into most of them.
@@AbelandVictoria I have a silky and find the bow saw cuts bigger logs faster. Blade has a more aggressive tooth pattern, not a fine cut like the silky. But the bow handle limits the log diameter
@@angmoh777Don't know if it's a recent addition or not. But I recently discovered on their website that silky has both fine and long cut teeth saws available now. So I purchased one of each. And so far they've been working flawlessly. But also I know that location in the world as well as the type of wood. You're cutting also plays a factor where I live. They work on every type of wood with no issues that might not be the same everywhere else.😅
I approve of your choice of camp food, another level! Actually its something am not planning on taking on my camping trips, will eat out. (Just weight on bike adds up as am on lower CC, well will see but am trying to stick to 15kg tops). If I can lose a few stone running/cycling may have a few kg spare. (Its space also).
