Legend has it when his mom came from Poland to visit him while he was in college, she got held up a while in the airport because one of her suitcases were filled with bottles of vodka.
My dad partied with Kenny Stabler back in the day when he was with the Oilers. An all-nighter at a bar on a Saturday. And yes he went out and played a game the very next day.
@@KrazhJaydoKrazh terry bradshaw ALWAYS brings up how his generation of playets didn't make much money. lol. Michael Strahan, Tony Gonzalez, and Howie Long just smile at him every time he brings it up. haha.

Hahaha, I had to run it back after seeing your comment. Btw, if anyone else missed it on the first go, after further review the ruling on the field is confirmed...😂🤣
Max McGee. Every Packers fan knows he got wasted the AM before Super Bowl l because he didn't think he was going to play and ended up catching two TDs on 135 yards against the Chiefs after the starter got injured. He scored the first TD in Super Bowl history.

LT doing blow on the sidelines and coming in to break Joe Theismann’s leg...I’m thinking 80’s-90’s hands down. I remember Michael Irving with some of his buddies from the Cowboys getting caught but not in trouble doing blow, smoking weed and playing with dildos with some call girls.
robert powers Cowboys from the 90s for sure. They had their own party “White House” in Valley Ranch down the road from the Cowboys old training facility. Cocaine, ladies, and use your imagination for the rest. Legendary times they had there.
Shout out to you Pat, you’ll always be invited to the cookout because you are genuinely an ally and have great intentions with your words and how you use your platform. You always do a great job of speaking to our culture
For best partying players, my list would include the 1970s-80s Raiders, legendary quarterback Bobby Layne (who even drank during games), Joe Namath and his Jets teammates, Paul Hornung and Max McGee of Lombardi's Packers (minimum), Lawrence Taylor (occasionally inviting the opposing team to parties before games), Chuck Bednarik, Bob Lilly, Terry Bradshaw (all three of them smoked cigars and drank in the locker room after their team won it all), and more infamously, Pacman Jones and Johnny Manziel (these guys were in the wrong era for their antics to go down well).
Hardest partying player I heard about without naming names but with some research can be figured out. I had a good friend back when I lived in utah, we were skiers and partied pretty hard. He was also a dead head. His brother played, and started for 2 years, and retired. In his 2 years after being drafted he started def end, both years and won a superbowl, for the redskins. His 2nd and last year his roommate in camp was the teams lead running back. They had a cooktop in their room at camp to cook up and smoke crack! Haha they partied all night and practiced and partied. Haha they won the superbowl that year. He retired, and moved to northern cal and grew weed. True story.
I can attest to pac man jones wild ass because I was a bouncer at the nightclubs in cincy when he played. Small guy compared to the other NFL guys like maualuga but he always had head of security nervous. I loved that he interacted with me cool guy!

So much so he opened a bar in Cave Creek AZ when he retired. Biggest Packer Bar in AZ. Unfortunately, after he passed the family didn’t want to run it and sold it, but the tradition is still strong there on game day.
So true about colonsworth. I remember I would bike people from parking lot to stadium in Kansas City and saw the crew prepping and he was so concerned about people getting close. He just acted like he was too good for “peasants”. I just thought maybe he’s having a bad day or had a bad incident once. Still may have been the case but who knows
When your teammates are your friends you play for each other more it’s simple. In high school for our team building we would go to someone’s house on Sunday drink smoke and watch football. We went 3-36 my 4 years there but hey we were good friends
We won the sugar bowl in 2013 in part because of our top notch team bonding. Almost half of our entire team went out on bourbon street and hit the strip clubs (I do NOT recommend it) one night we walk into the club like 30 players deep and who’s there? Damn near Florida’s entire football team lmao! We had a good night no beef no nothing. Then we whooped that ass in the super dome. Go cards! S/O Teddy Two Gloves ✊🏿
Pac-Man hopped on our bar crawl on High St. Had a couple blunts on him, one behind his ear everywhere we went. Left his jean jacket at Sports Page, one of my friends still has it til this day.
