Truly I love the second cast and they certainly brought light to the Turbo series but at the same time watching the four original heroes leave was very hard at first because it was like the end of an era when you were all gone. It was also strange with the next episode as you all were just phased out of the show, like no one could even say your names, or anything but the stories were still entertaining. I think the best decision was certainly to bring back Hilary as Divatox! She brought more fire and focus to the character, so I was really happy when she was back. I totally appreciate both of you sharing your thoughts on these episodes with us even though the memories are not completely fun for you. You truly have very warm hearts!
7:46 - The thing they did with their arms whenever they morphed on Turbo, it took me until 2020 to realize they were miming the action of turning a steering wheel. Makes perfect sense! A lot of the choreography of Sentai and Power Rangers was really clever.
I was also felt like breaking in tears seeing you guys leave. Fans were actually happy to see new cast and that's what made the second half of Turbo better than the first half. You guys should do an episode with Tracy, Patricia, Roger or Selwyn to see what they felt like the first day on set or maybe how they got on.
Wasn't too happy with them leaving. Tommy been on the show since I started watching so it was weird with him not being there. Same with Adam and Kat. Wasn't for Justin I might have stopped watching earlier. By the time Justin left I got to know the new rangers so kept watching in space.
After all those years of retiring actors one by one without a better explanation because of behind the scenes drama, I think passing of the torch was a great way to bring a new cast of actors. I know the cast is salty for losing these roles and never being paid fairly but sooner or later the franchise had to replicate the Super Sentai format and introduce a different cast each season. Tommy, Kat, Tania and Adam had a great and fulfilling run.

It was good to see Zordon and Alpha 5 again this episode was so Emotional and alittle sad seeing you guys leave now too like Jason, Zack, Trini, Kimberly, Aisha, Billy, and Rocky I wish they were there too. It did taught me that its also time to move on to something new. I still wonder how did T.J, Cassie, Ashley, and Carlos got there and knew about you guys. To me It made sense your characters were off to college but for me it was teenagers with attitude to me at the time my sister was a senior in high school so I felt sad u left but was happy we got a good set of people to honor the ranger legacy I loved the Netflix special I hope a sequel comes
As a teenager, I still watched power rangers and was heartbroken when the both of you, Adam, and JDF left Turbo. While I gave the second half a shot, it just wasn't the same and I stopped watching. Years later, in college, one of my classmates wore an awesome MMPR shirt and I complimented him and we got talking about power rangers. After I said I stopped watching after you guys left Turbo, this person said to me "oh, you missed a lot and you should resume it because it does get better." When I discovered that the older Power Ranger episodes were being uploaded on TH-cam, I resumed from Turbo and on and have mostly enjoyed the series. I love this channel.
Passing the torch was a great episode although I was sad to see you guys go I was excited to see what bees new Rangers would bring to the table and it worked out great cuz now you guys are such good friends
I think the whole reason Blake didn't stick around for In Space was because he was getting higher paychecks than the rest of the actors on the show, so he was let go because they couldn't afford to have him for anymore than one season. It was a shame that Justin didn't go with his friends up in space. I had wondered how Nakia and Johnny had felt about being let go because I had heard that Jason and Cat were both interested in leaving and this was what lead to the entire cast save for Blake getting replaced. It was amazing that you both were crying when Passing of the Torch had been filmed, but what was Nakia and Johnny's reaction when they heard they were getting replaced? Is there something the producers aren't telling us? Update: I see that they plan on releasing a video discussing about this next week.

While this episode was the last time you two would appear as rangers it also highlighted the fundamental reality that nothing lasts forever people grow up life changes but there will always be others to come after you. Took me a while but I accepted these newbies even liked them.

However, the real reason why it was comical was because of how serious was Ohranger, the counterpart to Zeo. However, after the writers for Carranger were allowed to become more serious, that's when the ratings for that show made an increase in viewer ship. 11:41 Good question! Why use an hourglass when you can use a timer? 13:19 It almost feels as if they were being layed off, but I think that it's more of a scholar thing. You learn until you can't be taught anymore and you must use the teachings that you have gained to the world.

Even as a child I connected the fact that Zack, Trini, and Jason were being replaced, but you all were a big surprise. I stopped watching consistently after you left and completely gave up after Lost Galaxy once the overall "Zordon era" storyline stopped.
By lost galaxy, I remember thinking the show had felt completely different and went in a totally different direction (star trek vibe), than what I was familiar with and loved for years. Took years to understand and appreciate the total switching of seasons. Lightspeed rescue felt a little more at homr and then I loved Time force and hoped they would do a season 2. All these years later, I really like what they did with the series. Love seeing you guys do this show. Ypu are giving us fans something we wanted to see for years. Love how genuine you are. Very similar to your characters. We love your friendship. You guys hsven't aged a bit :)

Never realized Tommy wasn't a natural straight head then again when he first came onto the show his hair wasn't completely straight. 2nd alpha sound like he was from New York.

But on the other hand i was curious to see what the new Rangers would bring to the table, especially in their uprising towards the next season.
The whole episode just doesn't make sense.. Even though the guys weren't rangers anymore, they still lived in Angel Grove, right? But from one day on another they dont even come in the juice bar no more... And zordon never told the rangers about a time period of being a ranger, especially since Tommy became one again. It's basically Dimitria kicking them out. It should have been talked about in a better way in the episodes.
Who's Greg grown up apart understand in nineties met my childhood best friends in 97 and we took Power Rangers serious as kids when we're out in backyard plan were the blame for parents wanting Power Rangers off the air We were those kids in the nineties I don't talk to those kids no more but when I arrive sit down and watch partners with my saw an I think Fondly of those times
so "Car Ranger" (which you can find on Xfinity on demand and from Shout Factory) was very campy and comedy in part b/c the previous years sentai, Oh Ranger, didn't do as well. CarRanger itself, was very, very wacky, with the villians constantly mis-prouncing Earth, a mentor figure that's straight out of a Mel Brooks movie and Red Racer who is coveted by the Villianess but ignored in his civilian form. Blue Centurion was just as big an idiot and obsessed with Traffic safety.
So as I said before I saw part 1 in 1998 and then part 2 in 2008. On TH-cam. And I was expecting the new rangers to become the new rangers in the middle of the show. So like when I watched it 25 minutes in im thinking, ok this is a new normal episode, wheres the switch. Jason Zack and trini went to the peace corp, Kim went to gymnastics, Billy went to aquamarine, so I was expecting some actual reason why this change was made. And I'm telling u, even if I had seen this is 1998, I would have stopped watching. A 80% cast change for no actual reason made no sense to me. It would be like watching law and order svu and only one character stays and the rest of the cast just retires. It would make no sense. So I guess what im saying is that I was attached to your characters to make or break the show for me. If u had stayed I probably would have watched in space (the next season)
I kind of lost interest in the show for a bit after that. Not for long though loved in space. I felt like they should have kept y'all around till space at least.

Carranger was total camp. The main female villain was named Beauty Zonnette but its later revealed her real name was Vanity Mirror Fanbelt.

CarRanger itself, was very, very wacky, with the villians constantly mis-prouncing Earth, a mentor figure that's straight out of a Mel Brooks movie and Red Racer who is coveted by the Villianess but ignored in his civilian form. Blue Centurion was just as big an idiot and obsessed with Traffic safety.
So as I said before I saw part 1 in 1998 and then part 2 in 2008. On TH-cam. And I was expecting the new rangers to become the new rangers in the middle of the show. So like when I watched it 25 minutes in im thinking, ok this is a new normal episode, wheres the switch. Jason Zack and trini went to the peace corp, Kim went to gymnastics, Billy went to aquamarine, so I was expecting some actual reason why this change was made. And I'm telling u, even if I had seen this is 1998, I would have stopped watching. A 80% cast change for no actual reason made no sense to me. It would be like watching law and order svu and only one character stays and the rest of the cast just retires. It would make no sense. So I guess what im saying is that I was attached to your characters to make or break the show for me. If u had stayed I probably would have watched in space (the next season)
I kind of lost interest in the show for a bit after that. Not for long though loved in space. I felt like they should have kept y'all around till space at least.
Alpha 6 was not necessary, I couldn't agree more with you Nakia.
They took away Zordon and Alpha 5 at the same time...... that was a terrible way to start the season.
