I found this out by accident. but if you leave your keys in the trunk it will open back up. kinda like a "hey I'm not staying closed get your keys" lol I thought that was cool
good work man..... your videos are very helpful for a person like me who is lazy and he cannot go to the dealership to look upon the new models ............. personally one of your videos was really helpful for me before i was going to buy Avalon. Peace & Respect from Saudi Arabia.
Saw one yesterday didnt test drive it though i tried out a challenger. I got inside both and i must say the visibility is much better in the charger when inside
Thanks for this great in depth video on the entry SE Charger. I bought this exact vehicle 2 months ago and I agree we get a lot for an entry model, but I can say I wish I paid for the act model at least. we don't get the 8.4 inch screen, heated seats, electric heated steering wheel, the SE model Evan has a bare bones single exhaust then into a dual muffler, all other models have a true dual exhaust all the way back. some reason the SE only gets a single with double outlets. anyways, great review much appreciated. and nice camera whatever you are using.
I just got this car two days ago. I used to have the 2012 Dodge Charger SE and I was amazed by the features and the power of the car. I love the aesthetics of the vehicle specially the headlights and the tail lights! Although, I'm wondering why it doesn't have the auto-start that I do? I don't know, but this car is amazing! Oh and the mat that they gave me was an all weather floor mat! I just love it!
Hi, thanks for reviewing. It is a really nice car and I just rented this one for a 3day trip. It is awesome. Actually I have a suggestion for your reviewing: as a new driver, I really care about the parking system. Would u mind add some information of cars like whether the car have a rear camera or other parking assisting system. I hope that won't take u long and these info really helps someone like me. Thx again for the reviewing.
I’m 20 planning on buying in 2months lord give me faith and show me ways because I’m working hard to get but I really love this car been wanting it forever my car now acting up but I promise I can do it with god faith only
The only difference between this and mine, is a spolier and 20 inch wheels, that and mine has a Bluetooth phone button next to the light dimmer switches, the base price was 28,000, but the wheels and spoiler bumped it up to 31,000.
I’m getting one For 12k With 100k Highway miles on it is this a Decent deal or should I look in another Direction Cause I keep getting told that as long as I take care of it How I’m supposed to then the 100k highway miles Don’t Matter As much? Any Thoughts!

I have a 2017 Charge SE Blacktop Edition, when I open the gas cap to put gas, on the inside of the door of the gas cap it has an e85 decal/sticker. My question is, does that mean I can put e85 gas in my car??
My 2016 Challenger SXT didn't have one either... of course both are the very basic trim models. All the higher trims have it standard. A lot of people do not want a camera so i'm glad they have the option. Kia/Hyundai typically do not come standard with over 300hp, RWD, and a high performance 8 speed transmission. Completely different customer base.
Those are all good choices but I like the way a RWD vehicle drives and handles. Of course FWD is better for snow and ice so if you live in that type of environment then FWD might be a better choice. My preference would be the Charger for RWD and Maxima for FWD. You really need to test drive all 3 and choose the one that you feel good about.
So help me out here.. I am getting a tax refund of 5k and I wanted to use that as a down payment on a new car a sedan.. I'm a father of one child and soon to have another.. I've done the research on car safety and overall satisfaction I am looking at a 2016 Honda Civic ext just a little over 23k and very good gas mileage also good safety ratings.. Another thing is its redesigned. But then I stumbled across this 2016 Dodge Charger se now I've been a fan of dodge for a while but the truck side of dodge now I don't mind a sedan especially something like this with a very nice sporty look and its dodge I love dodge.. But how does the safety ratings stack up and what would be the price to look for when getting full coverage insurance.. The only issue I have with this car is that base model is 27k which is a little high for a base now I don't mind that but it'd make more sense to just buy the Honda Civic touring model because it's the same price as this chargers base price..
+Youthful Julian As far as safety the Charger is a larger and heavier car than the Civic. Personally I would feel safer in the Charger with children in the car just because of the size and weight. Safety rating are only a valid comparison to other vehicles the same size and weight. With all this said... the 2016 Civic is a Top Safety Pick at IIHS.org so it is a tough choice! www.iihs.org/iihs/ratings/vehicle/v/honda/civic-4-door-sedan www.iihs.org/iihs/ratings/vehicle/v/dodge/charger-4-door-sedan/2016
I just read your comment and your interests, if you don't mind, I'll tell you how the 2016 Charger SE is with children. I have a 3 year daughter and a teenage daughter in H.S. child seats fire perfect in the back I have a Recaro sport childseat and she has tons of room. Charger has a pull down armrest with cup holders that separates the two in the back. I reccomend getting the Windows tinted because the rear window I giant and swoops up over the rear passengers heads and Sun comes down on their heads. the shape of chargers I guess. I tinted mine, problem fixed. the 8 speed transmission is butter smooth and helps me get great highway mpg with 4 people in the car. I also was going to get the all new 16 Civic. sometimes I regret not getting it and most of the time I am happy with my choice. The civic is smaller but not much smaller. the tech in the new civis is awesome and same w the charger only in the sxt and up. the charger feels strong and safe even when full of passengers and a full trunk. not sure how the civic will be when doing the same. either way you are choosing between 2 great vehicles. can't go wrong. I recommend testing a new Subaru outback too. I just bought a 2015 new designed Subaru Outback as a main family vehicle. honestly this is the best with a family and children, even better than my Charger.
Seems a little high to me but that is what they are selling for. www.kbb.com/dodge/charger/2016/se-sedan-4d/?vehicleid=412824&intent=buy-used&mileage=40062&pricetype=retail&condition=good
The only way to get rid of the hump in the floor is to raise the car about 12 inches or make it a front wheel drive car. The hump is for the driveshaft.
I found this out by accident. but if you leave your keys in the trunk it will open back up. kinda like a "hey I'm not staying closed get your keys" lol I thought that was cool
Same thing happens in my 300 lol
Haha 😆

+Acuravigor47 Thank you for sharing very useful info with everyone!
I love your reviews!! Keep up the good work, never stop!
I wouldnt get anything less than the scatpack, cant pass up the looks of the sp,srt, and hc. Looks so much more badass than the lower models!
Like you can afford that

+Jett A Angeles Remote start is an option. If you look at the window sticker you will see it listed under 'optional equipment'.
Bought this used today for a great price
The base model Charger is so well-equipped! I would love an AWD Charger SE because I'd be happy with it! (:
Vincent D No backup Camera ugh
Tyrone Long sxt model ..
Tyrone Long you can always install onw

that was one hell of a review....very informative...
Good work mate
Only thing missing on that Charger is that they didn't give them that nice Square shape that I expect a Dodge Charger to look like
The only difference between this and mine, is a spolier and 20 inch wheels, that and mine has a Bluetooth phone button next to the light dimmer switches, the base price was 28,000, but the wheels and spoiler bumped it up to 31,000.
thxs for this video now i dont have to read the manual! I look everywhere for that gas button lol
nice review !

Nice review mike, is it a RWD? Thanks
Thanks, yes it is rwd

Could you do a night review for the SE?
The Back button for what it is?
It's just like the 2015 charger.
Wish they had a backup camera
Why doesn't yours have the remote start? I thought all models came with it.
+Blurryface|-/ it's optional
+MikesCarInfo thanks.
I don’t like how it only have 140 on the dash
Keep in mind I haven't watched the full video so idk if you address this, but does the base model SE come with an AWD option?
+John Aquino Yes www.dodge.com/en/charger/model_details/#model=se_awd&year=2016
I wonder how much these are worth now ?
Should be at 10k - 15k
not bad 😊
Does this model come stock with LEDs or are they halogen lights?
Yes with leds
How come you don't do Hyundai reviews?
+Matthew Boersma I haven't found a decent Hyundai dealer yet.
+MikesCarInfo Ok. Keep rocking on with the awesome reviews! :)
I just talked to a good Hyundai dealer so I should be filming them soon.
Is there a backup camera too ?
You can add one to it if you want.
Do you think you cloud do some bmw reviews?
No backup Camera Mike?
not in this one
You would think it would come standard. Even basic Kia's and Hyundai's come standard with backup cameras.
My 2016 Challenger SXT didn't have one either... of course both are the very basic trim models.

Kia/Hyundai typically do not come standard with over 300hp, RWD, and a high performance 8 speed transmission. Completely different customer base.
Mike what would you choose between a 2016 Impala, Maxima, or Charger. I am looking at a used model less than 20k miles.
Those are all good choices but I like the way a RWD vehicle drives and handles. Of course FWD is better for snow and ice so if you live in that type of environment then FWD might be a better choice.
My preference would be the Charger for RWD and Maxima for FWD.
You really need to test drive all 3 and choose the one that you feel good about.
do these have the bose sound systems in them?????
+parish redman No
Does this model have rear view camera?
+Rozh S. I believe it's optional on the SE model.

How's the reliability?
Is these pearl or white?
Just white. All the details including the color name are in the description.

How much is the price now?
SESTARTING AT MSRP$27,995
MikesCarInfo what are the going for? I heard the going for 22000
Is $18K for 40K mileage a good deal for this car?
Seems a little high to me but that is what they are selling for.
www.kbb.com/dodge/charger/2016/se-sedan-4d/?vehicleid=412824&intent=buy-used&mileage=40062&pricetype=retail&condition=good
I thought the 3.6l had 305hp not 292 that was the 3.5
www.dodge.com/en/charger/performance/
When are they going to get rid of the big hump in the back floor. Not a big car at all. A mid size 60"s car was bigger!
The only way to get rid of the hump in the floor is to raise the car about 12 inches or make it a front wheel drive car.
The hump is for the driveshaft.
Then make it FWD. They have been making cars for decades and the hump was not that intrusive.
😍😍😍
Is thes color wihte?
+aboalmlk aboalrhman yes
MikesCarInfo the color wihte not pearl it's cheapr in my country
subtitulos en español plz
hi this mike (:
Why cant the american makers get rid of the 2nd row hump. Their engineering is behind.
This is a very big sedan and it still have that.
This is a RWD car.
Same cost as a Murano and Edge. lol
Alrnght! Sejms. low animal What do you think, gu~s...
How is the reliability ?
