      @@JessentialLife Just by research and their oils are very good, although I have been using essential oils since the late 1990s when there was only a aquarium air pump with plastic air hose attached to a diffuser but none of that changing colors type diffusers or any of the modern devices we have now.
      I think aura cacia and young living was there at that time and a shop I like called birch hill happenings both certified aromatherapists and heavenly scent oils and diffuser world for diffusers.
      There is a lot including Amazon.

      @@JessentialLife One more thing it's not just diffusing a scent to smell nice but to try to stop bugs and to destroy disease/viruses with one lung like plague/e coli/staff infection and mold.
      There are many uses for these plant and flower extracts...one of my favorites are a combination of Bulgarian rose and gardenia.

    No MLM for me after finding out about their money grubbing for their downlines and those ridiculous prices, land false advertising claims. Like Young Living. Creepy Cults. But I like Plant Therapy along with Eden's Garden, Aromatics International, Stillpoint Aromatics, Mountain Rose Herbs , Auracacia, and Sublime Naturals.

    Dropping by to add that I like that Plant Therapy offers citrus oils like lemon and lime steam distilled, bergamot being bergapten free, removing the concern of phototoxicity which doterra doesn’t have. Im not sure about grapefruit though, I think there’s no such version, if you know please do share with me. I’ve always been curious about DT dilution rate for their roll-ons, unfortunately they are not revealing it. I will be checking the essence oils out. Thanks for sharing, great content. I use both DT and PT btw, what sets them apart when I choose my oils are basically outlined by you, sometimes I want a certain chemo type like thyme linalol,Basil linalol, lemon distilled vs cold pressed, PT is helpful for this.

    • @JessentialLife
      @JessentialLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yaaass 🙌🏻⚡! You are speaking to my heart! I LOVE LOVE LOVE bergamot and lime and it is heartbreaking that they are naturally phototoxic. So I LOVE that Plant Therapy offers a non-phototoxic version of Bergamot, Lemon, & Lime (as well as the regular lemon and lime). So I can use the non-phototoxic versions in my rollerballs. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
      As for steam-distilled grapefruit, I am unaware of it. But the topical max is 4%, so if a person uses that maximum dilution rate, then reduce the risk of phototoxicity of grapefruit =).
      And I 100% agree about the chemotype. Thanks so much for your comment ♡

    Great video. I find it funny you said doTERRA lacks selection because I often find they have ones I can't find anywhere else. I'd also like to note last I checked plant Therapy's ear oil isn't intended for use in the ear and their instructions say to apply outside or put onto a cotton ball. I could be wrong though, I was a bit out of it when I read that. Plant Therapy for the most part is top notch with safety though, I appreciate that about them.

      Okay I want back and check and they recommend both 😱 plant therapy c'mon 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

    • @JessentialLife
      @JessentialLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh my gosh, you got me really second guessing myself there, so I checked out PTs website which says,
      "Apply 1-3 drops on the outside of the ear and gently massage the area in front of the ear and down towards the neck. If irritation or congestion still persists, try applying 1-2 drops of Ear Relief to a small wad of cotton and gently insert partially into the ear, then gently apply 1 drop of Ear Relief to the area in front of the ear.
      For an alternative method, tilt head sideways and apply 1-2 drops into the ear twice a day or as needed. Keep head tilted for at least 2 minutes after application or gently place a cotton in ear to keep drops in. Slightly warm the oil before application by sealing the bottle in a plastic bag and immersing it in warm water.
      Check with your doctor before using this alternative method to make sure the eardrum is not perforated before using any drops in the ear. If there are tubes in the ear, please check with your doctor before use."
      Looks like we both are right ;)

    You said you are certified. Can you clarify how you are certified or through what kind of organization? I'm looking for someone who really knows what they are talking about and can guide me in my essential oil usage safely. I found that lacking somewhat with doterra. I saw more concerning practices once I became a rep for them; but left before a year in it due to not feeling adequately trained. I still find oils beneficial but want more guidance for my own usage. I no longer represent any company.

      Love this comment. Thank you for sharing your story. To respond briefly, I studied at a school approved by NAHA (National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy) and AIA (Alliance of International Aromatherapists) among other associations. I don't know where you are located, but I feel that for most North Americans, this is preferable. However, the more I learn, the more I realise essential oils and essential oils safety is not black and white.
      I've actually made a whole playlist dedicated to those curious about studying Aromatherapy... I think you'll like it :D I'll link it down below :)

    Plant therapy sells organic and not organic oils, the organic is more expensive.
