The Stalker is actually my first run and gun sniper for me,i can easily quickscope and no scop with it,and it's half decent at range, but when you play Meat this is the #1 for me
I pretty sure they forgot to update the damage from last years game. It has the exact same damage numbers but all the others got updated for the 150 health
I think the Stalker just feels so incredibly MW2 2009 like in the way it plays. It feels uncanny valley levels of smooth (just like the intervention) and it is just such a rockstar for the type of sniping I do. Out of all the snipers my go-to's are the KZ Inhibitor and the XRK Stalker. They just feel incredible to use. I didn't get a chance to experience the pre-nerf KATT-AMR as I spent too much time with the Inhibitor but I feel pre-nerf I may have loved the KATT. Probably for the best I didn't get attached otherwise I might've felt a painful callback to the DSR-50.
Im still waiting for the healthy sniper meta in warzone. KATT has its fun moments but it would be great if the stalker could be a more aggresive one shot sniper with a range limit
Yeah it’s incredibly good, it’s one of my favourites for those exact reasons! And that default 10 round mag is amazing in 12v12, even with the slightly slower ADS speed 👏🏻
In my opinion overall best sniper experience are in MWII. All snipers are almost identical and literally 1 shot leg above including the shotguns. On MWIII, snipers are basically different on each one. Longbow is a hit marker machine, AMR is good but slow in ads & bullet velocity.
im loving the new sniper for now but im sad the SA-B 50 is gutted it doesnt oneshot unless its headshots. but i love just love the sp-x its by far the cleanest sniper for all play styles imo

I've been rocking the spx since the game came out , it's the best sniper I like quick scoping with it, and I've gotten multiple clips with it. I enjoy using the stalker but the range on it is pretty awful, it needs to be bumped up a bit before I would consider using it really again, don't get me wrong I've gotten some good clips with it as well but that was on a short map like meat where it shines

The spx is so significantly better in every category it makes 0 sense, it was a even bigger gap in mw2. What r they thinking? The intervention needs a 40ms ads buff the fire rate and 9ms slower ads will keep it balanced. I will still use the intervention with the throwback audio no matter how much better any other sniper is, its just so legendary.
I just started sniping again recently, and this informational video was much needed, I am sick of the longbow (was using it for the ads speed lol). I didn’t snipe in mw2, definitely gonna go level the mcpr and spx to give them a shot, thanks spratt 🙏
Shame the scope is so damn bad on the stalker. It’s frustrating to use in some situations to hold an angle and hit flicks because it zooms in so far you have no vision. Really weird the magnification choices on some of these guns.
@@Spratt SERIOUSLY! It’s 13x zoom. You can find it by selecting say the spx and checking out optics. You’ll see it in there. Hilariously it’s just another poorly executed thing, the scope description reads as if you’re selecting the weapon “stalk your prey and lay them out with this tactical sniper rifle chambered in .50 cal” LOL. This game is in such a rushed state.
Bullet velocity is too slow on the XRK. It is ok up close but any distance and you are going to start getting hit markers or missing shots the mcpr would hit.
Pretty much, but a faster 1 shot sniper would be super OP in warzone My theory is that they removed the sped up bipod attachment to account for how they wanted it to handle in warzone
I’ve heard the FJX is actually a 1 shot without explosive ammo, but only up to like 100 metres or something. But yeah, even knowing that, the Katt AMR is still the one 👌
This franchise just punishes the use of the more skillful guns. Not one of these guns rewards aggressive pushes on the line like the SAB50 and Kar98 did in the last 2 installments. It’s basically a game of “which sniper is the least shit” in this game so far. We either wait for a patch/ better balanced new snipers later on or basically have to play another class.
The fire rates for snipers in the stats aren’t actually right. For example I know pretty well what 58 rpm feels like from the tundra, mcpr is nowhere near that, even with the bolt. Exclusive aces vid from last year had it in the low 40s and I’m sure it’s still the same number. All the others are definitely wrong too.
Hmm interesting. Maybe the rechamber speed plays a part in it as well? But yeah you’re probably right in saying the stats aren’t entirely accurate, but I think it stills gives you a good idea of how the gun performs
I'm sorry but idc the longbow feels too good for aggression for me to not put it in my top tier, feeling-wise the xrk stalker is my favorite but the longbow is just my go to fun build when I just want to have fun without any thinking lol
My favorite class right now is using the SPX scope and 7 round mag on the XRK Stalker Also, can we petition for Tac Mask actually being useful??? Can’t see or walk on meat for all the stuns and flash bangs. Tac Mask works about the same as battle hardened did in MWII and that’s awful
ADS speed is irrelevant when it comes to a sniper rifle , when your hidden and shooting from a distance , lol. No such thing as minimum damage range either🤦♂, would love to see all these compared at actual sniper ranges, 300m and at 600m ...
If you're playing on PC, the correct answer is none of them, because you're constantly dealing with "packet loss" and "packet burst" so the only legit options are weapons where you can continue to shoot if your first shot(s) don't land.

I have over 14k kills alone with the victus in mw2. Playing strictly SnD . I miss how OP it used to be
same I liked the victus a lot in mw2, it reminded me of the L96A1 from BO1, I had 52k with that gun lol.

Sadly I don’t think so, but you can always throw on different optics in the firing range and compare the zoom that way.
I just KNOW that no stock for the XRK will be a huge game changer

The SPX is statistically the best but it has the least aim assist out of all of them
No MCPR range is much better and scope is better. SPX scope sucks for long shots. Plus aim assist means nothing when sniping
