There is a lot to un pick here.
The thoughts I had prompted by the text included the following.
She complement Cat Noir on his ability to forgive and not hold a grudge against those who have wronged him - well considering i'd just been reading a bunch of Lila related short-fics about Adrien's attitude to Lila and Marinette and how that didn't work out at all well - that came to mind and made me flinch at that comment.
Then there was the whole question in my mind - say this seems like one of those stories where Adrien is Flatmates with Marinette and one or both of them doesn't know the other's secret identity - this one seems like Ladybug knows and the only reason she's dating Cat Noir is she know's he's Adrien - which makes her look kinda terrible if that was the case.
But mostly I can't help but not see "Romance" but rather Cat Noir as a victim of an emotionally manipulative woman and wonder - Doesn't Adrien deserve a bit of honesty in his life.
My last thought is how the heck they managed to have a last battle without giving away Adrien's identity - seems like that would require some very special circumstances to me.
Now if I hadn't had any of those thoughts and was a more positive person then - yeah I guess it's Romantic enough. But perhaps I'm just a bit to salty about Marinette today - since I was just watching her try to wreck Adrien's date with Kagami in the Episode Animaestro.
I can't help bet get this feeling that Adrien is just swapping one emotionally controlling home life for another one if he did marry Marinette... There is just so many things that could go wrong with these two - so many missunderstandings and false expectations - I really can't help but wonder how Adrien can achieve anything but be essentially a stay at home dad, and Marinette either ends up a miserable Business woman who never sees her kids, or Adrien ends up being resented by her as he does - mean while he wonders if he regrets making nothing of himself. The conclusion I come to is the only way their Marriage can possibly work with the problematic personalities they both have is if they are partners in something like a Bakery, a Flower shop or a fashion boutique.
But when I really look at it - I can't in all honestly see a happy ever after - either Adrien is used as a childcare tool by his increasingly emotionally distant wife, or Marinette has to give up to many dreams. I can't see it working they are both two messed up and it would take a whole lot of Marichat to get anywhere near the situation where they even remotely understand each other even a little bit. As LB certainly hasn't a clue about Cat Noir and vice Versa. & Adrien and Marinette barely speak to each other. There isn't a basis for any relationship - something like this video is at best not a conclusion but a new beginning.
I hope for them - but I am struggling to believe in them as a convincing couple (as yet).

Since when I was young I loved stories... I love reading... And I also like Manga and anime enough to have serial obsession with many type of couples... Miraculous is one of that (It's not an anime I know xD) . Chat is the one with I'm obsessed xD and it's hard to imagine that fanfic situations can be represented in the original series 😩 (still I'm waiting 4season 🤣) but I can count on the magical world of internet, where I can find stories like yours : different, mature ones etc... One would hope that super Villain or not That Gabriel would set up a trust fund for his Son so he doesn't ever have to live in a loft on Noodles. But then he'd be in demand as a model so long as his dear dad didn't totally axe the family reputation.
Are we supposed to read a subtext that she know's he's Adrien - as otherwise the Agreste shaped figure would always loom between them - unless she is giving him some space as Hawk Moth is his dad, or she got it into her head he was complicit - otherwise the simpler explanation is she knows.
As for the question of who is better with akumatised victims after they are de-akumatised that isn't such an easy one to answer as both of them have been know to ignore them completely and both of them have shown compassion to them or indifference to them. I did think that perhaps LB was nicer to Max than Marinette was for example, but she can be a bit of a hellcat sometimes too showing great impatience and bad temperament (such as Gamer 2) - but then so can he I guess such as in Frozer.
But now I've had that thought put in my head it's something to watch for.
