-Keep It Rockin'
-Dj Louie MIxx
awesome vid Jasper! We all know how confusing those little led display modes can be. Thanks!
Eighter you use the sound to light moder or connect an DMX controller. With this you can control Pan, Tilt, Colour, Gobo and the Strobe/Shutter/Gobo shake.
1 of my lights was like that as well, until I opened it up to check the bulb and saw that it wasn't seated properly...and that fixed it for me
I have eight of these lights in my rig and love them! Great bang for the buck and they compliment my moving head lights nicely. Thanks for the great review.
@TheDJiMIX that sounds awesome! Am sure it will be a killer light lightshow!
they aren't totally silent, but at the same time they move enough air so that there isn't a duty cycle.
as far as video format, I have been uploading almost all of my videos in mpeg1 format, and a few in wmv..with even fewer in mp4 format.
dude this vid saved my ass....i bought 2 of these and i could not figure out how to get these things to sync...from master and slave....but figured most of it out.....i had another problem i couldnt get the light to shine bright...but come to find out the bulb wasnt in the little bracket to shine the light through the lins ..it was just layin in the bass of the light ..so no light was goin through the lens ..man i was frustrated...lol but figured the lights out...a liile..lol
During the demo its the internal master/slave2 programming
They cost $200 USD per unit
Very good comparision of SL1 and SL2 mode. Was wondering for long time what SL2 mode does. Now I got it! Thanks for the video.
yes, I still plan on getting another pair of ADJ Tri Gem's.....
Hoping there is going to be an next version of the ADJ X-Move with a prism and rotating gobos...
:-)
thank u for the responce appriciate it
Hey Jasper very nice lights good vid as always man.
Anyway i thought you wanted a pair of ADJ tri gem's?
@xkj208 its a good question. I highly recommend controlling these via dmx or a uc3 controller (to black them out) or not using them for slow songs.
@freestylflo that would look pretty sweet!
@jasperibe and maybey a strobe above the scanner in the middle
great review man
clayton
@DBOYS941 there is a version of this light that has a built-in laser...but not the DJ Scan 250 EX...its probably the fusion model
if i were to buy one of thesse do u think it would still look good
@jasperibe ok, but normally you dont see them purple and with slower bits in the music the lamps are slowly moving too... Anyways thanks :) One more thing, do you recommend me buying them?
in dmx can you make them smooth enugh to make it look just like a moving head?
one more question i saw on some videos it can bu used as a laser and do u halfto program thorugh a computer or its straight on the machine
@DBOYS941 it can be used as a centerpiece effect. but it would be better in a pair. yes it would still work.
Hello Jasper this is DJEMIXED which is now DJ iMIX, I closed the old account because the new name is the actual name I'm using for my DJ business. Just letting you know so you don't get confused who I am. I'm actually getting the new version of this scan. For what I've read its a lot brighter than the old one. I really like this lights. I plan to get four of them, what do you think.
the philips bulb in these fixtrues are awesome, if you have to replace...stick with a philips bulb
are these useable for slower music? cuz if i play a slow nummer would they trip and change colours fast? Or do you need DMX? Im sorry if this sound stupid...
the green lazer is the adj fusion scan ex
I tried using a standar mic xlr cable, and it does work...but you will notice the programming going weird.
@freestylflo hmmm a scanner between each par can...would look pretty sweet!!!
with dmx programming, yes it can be done.
@xkj208 the higher the better, but at least keep the mirrors at 7 or 8 feet
as long as the mirror would be around or higher than 5 feet off the ground. you want to give the beams a chance to clear the heads of the dancing crowd.
@xkj208 they are a little heavy, but very solid...a good buy
how is the name of this song ( part 2)
Are the fans noicy???
:) Nice review
o shit, forgot to ask :) how high of the ground do they need to be?
@jasperibe ok, but did you do this light show with DMX? if so what software did you use ?
what do you think about using 3 of these and 4 pars?
how many preprograms shows in master slave does it have?
@xkj208 no software, they are running sound active
this also has green lasers right??
we have made more sense if the master light was white.....
what songs are playing at this video
m8,you got yourself some punchy little lights there.look at them beaming away..one question tho,do they have rotating gobos, and if they do,how many, and do they have prizms?
thanks, these don't have rotating gobos and I am not sure at this moment regarding the prizms :(
the American DJ Fusion Scan 250 EX
got a laser
how much do these run-price wise.
@jasperibe ok thanks
JVC GZ-MG130U
