I'm SO impressed by your reading. Professional and of the quality you'd expect from Big Finish or BBC audiobooks. Imagining Tennant speaking the lines with the production values of 2009 Doctor Who makes it even better. Wonderful or as a past companion would've said "Ace!!
Thank you so much for reading this out loud in such a nice and clear voice. I love Doctor Who, and I love books, but my vision isn't what it used to be. I really enjoyed the story, thank you for sharing.
Thank you for your wonderful comment! I'm really glad you liked it. I have narrated one other canon Tenth Doctor story on my channel, 'The Lonely Computer'. Here is the link if you would like to give it a listen: th-cam.com/video/EXBrCk41gu0/w-d-xo.html
Yay, a tehth Doctor story, I did not know yet. Thanks for reading and posting it. Ten is my favourite. Such energy of the Doctor, and first moonlanding, too. Best combination ever.
I've been unemployed for 8 months and deeply depressed from Covid. This was an honest surprise and pleasant to fall into for a while. Thank you for the level of effort you put into creating this. It's greatly appreciated
Really enjoyed the narrator’s ‘Doctor’ voice, definitely captured the energy and spunk of Ten. You can tell he’s studied David Tennant’s voice quite a lot. I wish the writing had been better. It seems like the author never submitted it to a proper editor and it came off more like homespun fan fiction. Some of the elements were enjoyable (I laughed out loud at the banana swap), and you can tell the author is a huge fan of the tv series, but the style was amateur in the phrasing and didn’t quite grasp ‘Show not tell’. It could benefit from some outside feedback, but not a bad diversion when you’re doing a mindless task.
Thanks! In answer to your question, it's mostly practice. It helps to watch and listen to a lot of David Tennant stuff as well. I hopefully am getting better and want to make each upload more accurate than the last if I can.
Hi, I started doing TH-cam as a portfolio of my creative work; somewhere to put the things I create and which gives me a reason to produce new stuff regularly. I produce the stuff I want to create, which varies significantly. I’m not too worried about channel growth nor being typecast to a particular type of content as I feel that my audience is around the same age as I am and has grown up with the same influences and can appreciate the variety of content. As to my inspiration: I’ve always liked music and audiobooks and growing up wished I had the talent to produce stuff related to my favourite shows, films, games etc.
@Miles_Tarrant hey thx for answering me. I think that's great. Do you ever think you'll do anything that you've done on the channel for a job, or do you think that if it was a job, you would find it less likable to do? Also, if I'm asking too many questions, let me know.
@@mysterygirl9610 It's more of a hobby for me and as I am self taught in music and production I have no qualifications to get into the industry. I'm happy keeping TH-cam as a side hustle. I have done commissions and I find it helps me put out better quality content in a shorter space of time as opposed to having no deadlines or real incentives to finish something. Often there are many ideas but once you start working on them you realise how time consuming it is to even approach the level of quality you expect. (Going to have to leave that as the last question I can answer right now though as its quite late where I am).
Hey, I listened to an audiobook of yours probably about 2 years ago. It was about the Doctor and Donna in a museum and someone wanted to make them an exhibit. It was only part 1, I check back every now and again to look for part 2. I jut wondered where its gone?
Hi, I only starred in that audio drama but it was a production by someone else who allowed me to post it to my channel. The second part hasn't been released and I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the first one so I took it down. I now don't join external projects as I cant control certain aspects which I would've liked to.
Long time no see Miles sorry i have not talked to you for awhile.. :) i hope your doing okay. Tenth doctor my favorite sure you know that already im gonna get his suit and cosplay as him for my birthday in two months
@@Miles_Tarrant i did :) makes me want to fall asleep to it lol. And of course you're amazing at what you could do and you can do my favorite doctor witch is awesome to me :) can you do a video of Tenth Singing a happy birthday song.? Its probably gonna be weird lol.
The video is now back up after it was removed in a copyright dispute. Enjoy!

I was convinced at first that it was actually David Tennant reading Doctor's part, the impression is so good. Good job!

David Tennant has the word Ten in his name.
the voice acting is incredible omg
You should be hired by BBC. You have some talent when it comes to voice acting! Loved the audio quality of the book!
This is stunning work 🌟
Great video you should make more ✌️
Nice work dude thanks
Loved this. Reading and dialogue and all. Would love more.
Miles - watched the first episode, i like big finish a lot & i like what you're doin.
Does anyone know where to find Deep Water doctor who audiobook also narrated by Miles Tarrant
I posted a reply to this on the 'Doctor on My Shoulder' video
@@Miles_Tarrant thank you!!
CIA, MI5, KGB, whatever you are, when the Doctor says "I'm in charge", you don't open your mouth except to ask how many sugars he wants in his tea!
I love it! How are you doing his voice!?

Nice, I don't know if you'll answer me but what got you in to youtube and what inspired you to do the content you do?

Great David Tennant impression. Can't fake an American accent to save his life, though.
I'm doing an animated Doctor Who project. Contact me if you're available and let me know your rate? Thanks!
Hi, sadly I'm no longer doing Doctor Who related commissions. Thank you for the offer though.
