To be honest, talking about season 1, not only Status Quo who reached the final, no other crew had a chance to match JBWKZ. They were really ahead of their bringing everytime something fresh n new on the table. Hell, even look at their final performance. That freestyle also has choregraphy in it n that song selection for that final performance, "Stronger" was just perfect match that starts with, Take this, HATERS.
I always felt like Kaba Modern got HEAVILY underappreciated. Felt like Kaba Modern only got eliminated so they could do West vs East, couldn't have both finalists from the same area lol.
@@Simitachi Yes! I had that thought as well. IT would be amazing to see KM and JBWKZ in the end. After JBWKZ, only KM had the potential but I still know JBWKZ would win for sure! Their mask had stolen the show in the first episode itself! What came later even sealed it. Their choreo, dress up, synchronicity, their style-esp picking up from where they left from last episode and their brotherhood. For almost each episode, they paid their tribute to Jerry Kandel!!
Jabbawockeez and Kabba Modern were at the top. Should have been them in the final. That would have been perfect. But thankfully, Jabbawockeez member (Ben-Tek) mixed with Kabba Modern members (Tony Tran, Mike Song, Lawerence Kao,), we now have “The Kinjaz” Fate always brings mirracles together.
What made Jabbawockeez stand out was they weren't particularly "the best" they were good and floating above average during the show's run, but they were different. They kept the classic 90s BBoy style which is so iconic with Hip Hop but they twisted it to hit the beat more but they didn't go too "robotic" and stiff, they used fluid motion and isolations (not the best since other groups did iso's better), it was just the overall consistency which made them gel and loved by the fans. They were also very creative with their assignments which other groups were very boring with (100 back flips and spinning on your head for 20 mins which we've all seen in dance offs). Jabba were just...different and they were "journeymen" listening to feedback and constantly improving themselves, jumping through the hoops and assignments that were thrown at them each week. During the time they had a show in Vegas and other series of ABDC there have been far better technical dancers but they just miss that magic, the crowd engagement is missing. Sometimes it's more than just the dance, it's the whole package and being masked has helped their image a lot.
I😂 turn 50 tomorrow and I'm sorry to say that I'm had my doubts about you. But after that 😂 you have done growing up from the cuts . I appreciate it more than anything 🎉. Cause my big over the hill birthday is tomorrow and I have to work my just a bday shout-out would be the best gift ever 🎉😂

Status Quo were good, but the only other dance crew that had a chance of beating the Jabbawockeez was Kaba Modern. Never understood how they didn't make the final. Status Quo were just outclassed in every way.
@jaxhult Yeah I did a view other things like reproducing a mixtape from the E40 performance. But I don't have alot of time for it these days.. But it'll come ;)
They really set the standards so so high JABBAWOCKEEZ Forever💪🏻🇵🇭🏆
Holy shit them dudes were the best thing about that whole show! True masters of their craft.
JabbawockeeZ, Quest Crew, Poreotics this three got me into Dancing.
Status Quo got destroyed here, they can't handle the energies of Jabbas.. This is the moment Jabbawockeez became legend.

Also 2 Asian crews, I think the west vs east dynamic was there since its hip hop technically but they also wanted a mix of faces let's say

@dcggames No problem you should make more videos of the Jabba's, but you probably already have haha. Once again thanks for the awesome videos.

I totally agree. I believe one of the girls messed up on the routine so they had to vote them out.
Woaaaah walang tatalo sa galing nyu jabba
@christian18491 Thanks for your nice comment, glad I could be of service to a fellow Jabba fan :)

This group was like Michael Jordan in his prime. Even the second best group wasn't REALLY close to their level.
