I've said it before and will say it again, if it's Code Veronica Remake then Operation Havier should be made the DLC from Darkside Chronicles as it ties the lore of Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4 with Krauser together.
We barely saw anything in that environment of OP Javier, that's why it would be so cool. They can use scrapped bosses like the smiling hookguy. In addition they can use the assets of OP Javier to build upon a Re5 Remake since the environment is almost the same.
Re4 needs that op javier dlc, milk the hell outta us capcom Also. Ive been thinking since purchasing the raccoon city edition. What if they updated the game title. And made it re2 & 2.5. Maybe even adding some of the cut content as dlc like they did with 4. Never too late too correct an oversight, much different than a mistake. And then remake re3 as code veronica.. i think story and lore wise it makes the most sense.
Awesome cosplay!!! Also, I, too, am hoping for an Outbreak re-emergence: the story is so incredible, since you're playing Regular Raccoon City Folks trying to survive a zombie fight, rather than (outside of Claire) characters with some amount of special training. However, I have a feeling that the next remake will probably be CV.
I would like to question the sensibility of your writing, if you dont mind. Why would you use 2 commas in "I, too, ..." instead of just going "I too"? Just because a certain group of people decided that that is how it should be written, does not at all necessarily mean that it makes sense to do so. I makes no sense, not to me, at least. Always question the logical soundness of social rules and claims. It's cringey to exercise pointless rules
@@ViNiZ tbh I dont hate RE5 (cause I love chris) but I prefer veronica over it. RE5 had more action gameplay style and I think it doesnt fit resident evil that much.

RE doesn't need a remake. It wouldn't work well in first/third person and the remaster is already enough. That game should stick to its roots with the fixed camera.
@@YungRiver yeah fixed angle is annoying, but i feel like they think doing anything different is sacrilegious. Might get it down the line, but I think we get code veronica and maybe even RE5 first.
Dude only 2 possible remakes before all they have got left to remake are the other ones it will happen makes Capcom too much money. It's 100% going to happen imo
What I would like to see is a code veronica remake, but I absolutely could see them doing REmake again. 5 is always a contender, mainly due to it's high sales, but Capcom absolutely love RE1, or REmake, and I could see them remaking REmake in the newer engine, third person over the shoulder.
I would be thrilled if they remade RE1 again on the new engine. It gives new players a look at the beginning, plus shows them why Wesker is such a threat, and reveals the history with Chris. If only 😭💕
@@lisacastro3899My thoughts exactly imagine revisiting the spencer mansion with over the shoulder camera with semi darkness with the lighting of the mansion’s lights and the lights coming from inside the mansion when you’re outside and the room you fight the crimson head
One remake is enough. They already remastered the remake and re-released it only a few years ago. Highly unlikely they'll revisit it again so soon. CV and 5 are way more likely as the RE1 Remake Remaster sold decently well already.
I wouldn't mind a Re1 remake remake. I would hope they expand more on the mansion and the lab. The lore and some of the deaths within the mansion. Would be awesome if RE: Zero was added to the RE1 remake to make it one huge experience.
The Code Veronica Remake would be 💣!!! Especially for fans not familiar with it! I played it on. Sega Dreamcast for the 1st time and fell in love with it within minutes! That is a very underrated story and does tie in overall! Needs & deserves the Remake desperately!!
First of all, LOVE the cosplay. Second of all, while there's a high chance RE5 might be the next remake, my money's on Code Veronica. It's been a fan favorite for a whole while now and people have been wanting a remake of that years before RE4 remake even came out. The fact that they shut down the fan project also makes me believe CV is next. Nevertheless, I'm excited and will patiently wait for more news on the matter 🙂
i bet my money both are in remake RE5 will be first then they laucnh Code Veronica both are in process bcs they said clearly they are making the big ones as remakes not the Outbeak and shit like that
I think five has the most potential to be good. It would be a lot like resident evil four remake but with Chris and probably even more areas to explore. The African villages and poverty and then the tribes all the schools are just so cool. As long as they give us an entirely new merchant character that fits into that environment. Hopefully, they rework it to be mostly single player experience… give us a partner, every once in a while, like they did, with the remake of four. I wanted to be, but I would bet my life they would make five over cv first.
@jessejive117 Hopefully they at least keep some possibility for 2-Player co-op. Not only is that a gery large part of what made the orginal 5 so great, but with today's hindsight we now have Revelations 2 to show that you can still have co-op while retaining not only a creepy, unsettling atmosphere and enemies, but also tell a great story in the process. I want them to do that again if they remake 5 and 6.
Re5 and 6 remakes must be co-op but I agree that they gotta up the creep factor, currently playing it with my uncle and a scary co-op experience of that would be amazing.
@@jessejive117 Code Veronica deserves it the most and more than 5 at this point. It’s has potential to be phenomenal with updated graphics, controls/gameplay, a less obnoxious Steve, etc. Solid plot, great environment on both the island base and Antarctica. And the enemy list was great with alexia, bandersnatch, nosferatu, spiders, dogs, hunters (2types, lickers, tyrant, and so on.
@@TitusPrime1995 I agree with that completely. If I ever avoided their attacks, it was from panic spamming button presses and some luck, but I couldn't nail down a reliable method.
I think one day making a remake of 0 and 1, and making it as one large game would work, as 0 and 1 happen basically next to each other on the timeline, and also serves a means to rewrite/adjust the origin story of Chris, Jill and Wesker and set up a remake of 5 for the future
I totally agree! Perfect chance to perfectly stich the events together. I like RE 0 , just hated that we couldnt connect Rebeccas fear and trauma into RE1 since it came out first.
Make sense. If they are so worried about 0's protagonists there should combine them both in one release. How was 0's playtime compared to Nemesis'? Either the original or remake.
RE is nothing without the music. They are removing music from games. So, it won't match the original atmosphere at all. You basically get completely new game
No. RE1 is fine the way it is, both the original and remake. It doesn’t need the third person treatment. The mansion game having fixed camera angles is what makes it so fun and scary because you don’t know what’s lurking around the corner…
Code Veronica is the only one that makes sense to me if they go straight to 5 it skips a part of Wesker and Chris story also CV needs remade much more than RE5 does.
I do hope they remake Code Veronica and fix all the issues with the enemies being bullet sponges, tone down the difficulty as well as add a difficulty setting to the game, and maybe even add some unlockable costumes for the characters, especially since Claire only got one alternate costume, and you could only see it in the battle game mode. Love your Leon gangster costume too Kai. Looks awesome. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving too.
More bullet sponges than the RE:2 and RE:3 remake? Up to ten shots to kill a "regular" zombie was a really stupid game mechanic. I don't know what Capcom was thinking???
Yeah Kai, they left the other fan projects alone, but also slammed the team that was doing RE2 fan remake, if I'm not mistaken, they invited the team to their HQ and encouraged them to make their own thing, which ended up turning into Daymare. Also, like you I will stay on that Outbreak remake hill till the day I die lol.
Also have been "preaching" for a full-on Outbreak remake (besides Code Veronica), just to see the game to be fully completed to see what it was truly going!
I think it will be RE5 personally. I think we will get CV eventually, but from a business perspective, RE5 was the best-selling game as far as I remember, so it makes sense for Capcom to capitalise on that opportunity. Although I could be completely wrong and Capcom could just blow everything out of the water with a Code Veronica announcement 😂 either way I think we will get both eventually.
I think they’re in a spot to take a chance on CV. 2 and 4 sold incredibly well and they could risk an underperforming game if the fans are loud enough. I think RE5 will be saved as their ace in the sleeve.
@@ryanbellegrave9777, glad to see you already replied with this because he took the words out my mouth! Even if we pretend that Capcom doesn't listen to or at least hear their fans screaming about Code Veronica then it would still make more sense for them to remake Could Veronica for the same reasons you said they've hinted or outright pointed at RE5 with RE4make and Village with a note in Chris's sequence as well as his remarks on the BSAA in same. But even then I can still imagine them lovingly remaking one yet again or on a similar wavelength they remake zero, being a bit of a black sheep of sorts... I love Rebecca, but I swear she hasn't featured much at all. Even humouring the idea of Capcom remaking zero makes me realise it's somehow more likely they'd go for code Veronica over zero, since the groundwork for RE5 is right there we're a zero would only lead to Resident Evil Remake (*cough* 202X)
@Ac0ustics0ul, you're right... But hear me out, it's not because Capcom would want to take risks it's because if they remake five and then six because they're the next main titles then they'd be eating all the icing from the cupcake first and it would be hard to keep making money with remakes if they just went for the best and biggest first and foremost. They don't only ever remake broadly speaking "sideline/non numbered" games because they have peoples trust at this point and it makes the most sense financially for them to space out the big hitters as to not burn out this momentum too quickly
I played it on the SEGA Dreamcast. I seemed to have forgotten the whole game. All I can remember, is I was killing big green bugs. So if they do remake Code: Veronica, the story will feel like a brand new game for me.
As weird as it would be, I feel the Revelations games could benefit from the remake treatment. Think of how the stories could integrate with Umbrella's aftermath & the eventual corruption of the BSAA, let alone the creatures & environments from those games would look incredible in the RE engine! Also lets not forget the amazing soundtracks!
Revelations 2 was initially shaping up to be something very promising. Then… the atmosphere and immersion was killed when we had to switch to Barry. Barry has always been established as an NPC and should have remained so, or could only play as him as an alt ‘separate ways’ play through after game is complete. Capcom always find a way of screwing things up.
I am praying it's gonna be Code: Veronica. It's my favourite game in the series, with my favourite soundtrack in the series, and I would love to see what they do with it.
@paimeithecat4662 exactly! The soundtrack was amazing and I really hope they do it justice. Revamped/remastered versions of the original in the higher quality we'd get now would be incredible
Agree with Code: Veronica. Now MY main question... Do you guys think we will ever see a Dino Crisis remake? I know it was maybe not nearly as big a hit as the Resi franchise, but I cannot help but imagine the atmosphere and tension a remake would be able to produce.
Capcom won't remake Dino Crisis until they can guarantee a certain amount of sales - they missed the opportunity for Onimusha remake a couple years ago when Sekiro and Ghost of Tsushima were popular so they'd be stupid not to at least have a pre-alpha framework ready to be built on.
To me Capcom would be stupid not to reintroduce Dino Crisis at this point. I hate when companies have hot IPs and just sit on them out of fear of sales. Dino Crisis is a cult-classic as many RE fans are also Dino Crisis fans, and there's a whole new generation that still haven't experienced it yet. It would be a layup especially if recreated the plot and gameplay with the RE Engine. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps. 😇
@@hatsuhioki9361 but with modern writing, can definitely make it better! They’d have to cut off so many parts of the game too which is fine. It’s called remake for a reason
@@hatsuhioki9361 they did it with RE4 and also if it has to be a lot for RE5 then so be it. They can do whatever they want with the remake lol it’s capcom a SUCCESSFUL company. At the end of the day RE5 is the most SUCCESSFUL game out of all the games so they might remake 5 first since Code Veronica is hated and underrated compared to 5
I've always thought that Code Veronica was ahead of its time when it came out. Most of the gamers weren't ready to see some aspects in terms of "mental health". If Capcom properly remakes Code Veronica (Just as RE4), the new generations of gamers will love it SO MUCH. We actually need it.
No it's not. Zero and 1 need proper remakes as well. The did some good things with RE1 on gamecube but they also made some things worse too. If we can get a proper remake of 0,1, and Code Veronica I think we'd be all set
@@kispie Remakes of Zero and REmake 1 in the old style, I'd actually be ok with, despite the games not needing them. However, there is nothing "proper" about that over-the-shoulder 3D garbage.

Ever since re4 remake came out i thought that it was going in numerical order and i think it will but i wish that resident evil code veronica will get a remake next
I think it's going to be Code Veronica next. I really do. I watched someone's playthrough of it recently and really paid attention to the story and from what I saw it just seemed like it was setting up a good portion of the plot for RE5.
I was around at the time outbreak file 2 was online. It was probably the best experience of resident evil I’ve played. I do miss the rpd scenario of collecting the amulets and the siege at the end. That would be insane if done in the new engine That’s the next one I want to see get remade
I'm gonna have to get ready for the hate but I honestly want to see a REmake for RE1. Yes, the OG RE should get a remake just because it's literally over 20 years old, and the first RE remake came out only 6 years after the original. Just my opinion.
Agree completely. It seems absolutely insane to remake them out of order, when the Chris/Wesker storyline starts with RE1, builds through CV, and concludes with RE5.
I would be amped for a Code Veronica remake. It is the best non-numbered game in the series and also the one that could most benefit from a redo. It is a good opportunity to fix the inventory problem when switching between characters, and maybe reduce backtracking. I agree that is probably the remake that we are getting. The other spinoffs are too obscure, and 5 and 6 don't feel old enough to warrant ground-up remakes.
I want Code Veronica to be the next remake! It is absolutely my favorite resident evil game of all time! The monsters were great. The puzzles were fantastic. And the music was incredible! I wish they would just re release that game to play on modern consoles.
The only thing I hate about that game and RE0 is that the final boss kept their conscious all the time, and when they met the MC, they just gave it up and turned into monsters.
I would rather see a remake of bad, underperforming, or obscure games from the franchise than remakes of great games. Even if the re4make was spectacular the original already was too. Give us a resident evil Gaiden remake.
I think of the two, CV is most likely to get a REmake. They've pretty much got all the groundwork put in for fancy castle/mansion assets after Village's castle Dimitrescu and RE4make's Castle Salazar, so recreating the Ashford Mansion wouldn't be too much of a stretch. It'd be nice if they also revisited Operation Javier to tie REmake!Leon and Krauser's backstory together as well. As beloved as Outbreak was, I think CAPCOM has tried and failed on multiple occasions to capture that magic again (Umbrella Chronicles, Operation Raccoon City, Umbrella corps. and the catastrophic failure to get literally more than 10 people playing REVerse at any given time) will probably have them shy away from multiplayer - unless they seriously overhaul any potential RE5make's multiplayer options (or even get rid of it altogether?)
So here's my hot take about RE 5, I think RE 5 does need an update in at least the controls. I play on Xbox and after grinding and playing RE2:R, RE3:R and RE:4R into the ground, i'm very used to the controls for those games and how fluid it is. So I think RE 5 needs at least to have the controls be the same but still keeping those interactive cutscenes with the quick time events i.e: Chris and Sheva with the motorcycles. However, I agree with everyone else about Code Veronica, and from what I heard, CV is actually the origin story of the Chris and Wesker feud?
It’s action because Jill and Chris are highly advanced in this field than Leon It was a horror game that had action in it. 6 was bad cause it had Leon and Ada’s story in them. Re5 was one of the best they’ve made tbh
@@philliplamb-jh7bf it definitely was. Sold more copies and had the best pvp game mode of all the resident evil games Also had the hardest mercenaries out of the recent games as well. Jill and Chris’ games need to be fast paced. Look at the difference in Ethan’s approach in village versus how easily Chris dispatched his enemies at the end. Problem is y’all overlook these things and believe resident evil should be slow and mysterious like Leon’s campaign in re6 which happened to be the most out of place and boring
But 6 needs to be remade from ground up. Its to big for normal remake. They need to change it a fair bit and stick to one or two scenarios. I think it will be the most challenging one to remake if it ever comes
Here's my take. Code veronica is the next game. It was being worked on at the same time as RE4 remake and was given to M-TWO after Capcom took the Re4 remake project away from them. The game will have the same overall story but will be different in the same vein as Re3 remake.
Noo! Just no the original does NOT need a remake FFS it's already been remade and is a perfect remake imagine wanting a remake of a remake! 🤦♂️ CV is the only RE that should be remade then capcom should ether focus on a new RE story or move on to Dino crisis
@@alberttrotter1262 I completely agree with you about the original RE. I don't WANT a remake of the first game, but financially it would do really well and we know that money talks. I said that because I think it's a real possibility whether we like it or not.
@alberttrotter1262 Calm down Santa.. Yes REmake is still good, but what are you even talking about "perfect"? Its been over 20 years, and it's pretty dated at this point like the OGs. RE2 remake was amazing, and the first game deserves the same treatment whether you think it's dumb or not. Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and they'll do both so you CV fanboys can finally chill tf out.
RE5 would be great. Coop was always my favourite thing with my brother. They could give fans a little more scares and optimize some of the boss battles but in all, it’d be a great addition.
I'm new to the franchise due to the psvr2 and would absolutely love it there would be more vr modes for the remakes and future games as well. Playing it in vr is just awesome.
A Resident Evil Outbreak Remaster for modern consoles and pc would go so hard. I would love to see a Remake too, but knowing how Capcom has missed the mark with recent Resident Evil online experiences, I would rather have the same game I played thousands of hours on my ps2, than a revamped modern experience of it. Outbreak is just such a gem that has been lost to time to damn long.
An RE: Code Veronica would make sense since with Wesker appearing in RE 4 remake, I feel this is a great way to set up more about Wesker and rivalry between Wesker and Chris
So first of all the thing ya did with the plant was hilarious. Definitely code V! I honestly wouldnt be bummed if they did re1 with the new engine though either. The mansion in first person would be epic. No matter what they do next its exciting that they are keeping them coming!! 😊🤘
I think it'll most likely be Code Veronica which will be amazing but what I'd really like to see is a proper remake of the first game, in the style of the Resident evil 2&3's remakes. The Gamecube port and it's subsequent releases (on steam etc) were good but I think the original would definitely benefit from being remade in the same way it's sequels were.
Outbreak is a great idea, but its probably gonna be Code Veronica, there is so much to do, upgrade and change in it, the story itself will grab a lot of people’s attention, its such an attractive game, they may work on the map design since ppl did’t like it that much
outbreak will not happen because they already made a poor attempt of that few times already and was canceled pretty fast the last being bundled for free with RE3R that nobody plays so next to that they wont bother to make an actual game like Outbreak there might be some halfbaked code veronica and that is it majority don't care for any of this cashgrab since crapcom cant make good games even if their life depends upon it for a long time now
I want a outbreak game with a large area to explore in racoon city with different ways to escape the city still using the older style camera or have an option to use third person
They're obviously remaking all the OG titles slowly but surely and its going to be awesome seeing Code: Veronica and Outbreak on next gen. Resident Evil could be the first franchise to be fully re made for next gen
As much as I'd want 5 to be remade first, CVX makes more sense. It gives Capcom the opportunity to really test the next gen engine and explore Chris and Wesker's relationship, especially if RE1 is not being remade again (who knows), and RE 5 is not next in line. Though, I'd have to disagree that 5 shouldn't be remade yet. I mean, 4 had way more releases on several platforms throughout the years. And like you said, it shouldn't have been touched, but here we are. And lastly, we have to keep in mind that Capcom also wants to make sure the newer gen of players that didn't grow up with Resident Evil like we did, are going to have the best experience with the storyline and characters. Either way, they know not to upset OG fans like they did with 3 (hopefully). If they do with CVX or RE5, people will make it known what a dumpster fire they are. Anyway, just my two cents. Love your work!😊
It’s code Veronica they gave everyone a list they told us to go to the website and sign up for which 1 we wanted remake, list between veronica or zero or the resident evil 5. A majority of people choose Veronica I will be surprised if it ain’t Veronica
I don't mind the remakes, but i would love to see a new game in the series. But it will be interesting to see how they will handle the remake well to me more of reimaging for CV.
RE9 will come out before any other remakes. Guaranteed. Really though we need entirely new characters at this point to take over the main line entirely.
@@PurgaB A lone modder is already doing that on the original RE2 engine. Sure Capcom would need to do some work, but there already exists a full story hidden within the game. They'd just have to only have one path forward but have you visit all areas for one reason or another(except for the second choice where really the tram would be sufficient and make more sense).
Am I the only one who would like to see the story move forward instead of yet another remake? If we have to get another remake I'd bet anything that it's gonna be Code Veronica. But Id rather see a new series entry that drives the story forward and also reverts back to third person over-the-shoulder gameplay
Unless it's Outbreak remake, yeah I'm with you pal. But honestly, I feel they haven't decided how they're gonna handle the story onwards. It's damn near obvious that they stalling for time the mainline story with 7 & 8, those two feels contained if you get what I'm saying. I guess 6 *really* got them deep in a hot water...
Code Veronica would be cool because I only did it once back in the day, and barely remember it, but what I would like the most would be if they did a new remake of the very first one, which is still the RE title that carries the most nostalgic value to me.
@Ink Ribbon Craig Burnatowski was just posted that he’s working on another game a while ago I’m not sure which one but it might be another resident evil game proving that yes capcom is in fact remaking something.
For a Code Veronica remake, I’m wondering if they’ll open with you actually exploring the Umbrella offices with Claire before being captured and sent to the Island. They merely capture this in an intro cut scene in the original, but I’m curious how they’d incorporate it into gameplay. Would be interesting to go up against real human enemies in the REngine that haven’t been zombified or given viral enhancements, (i.e regular security forces, similar to the non-infected humans in the Last of Us), just to see a different type of AI possibility. I was hoping they’d remake Code Veronica before they redid RE4, since it would have kept the chronological order, AND the CV original still used the old static camera and needed the graphical polishing more than RE4. However I understand the business side of it with RE4 being the more guaranteed hit.
It's 100% code Veronica because literally everyone is asking for it Capcom always listens to the crowd What they should really work on is the revival of Dino crisis
I'm really hoping for another remake of RE1. They mentioned releasing 3 remakes so far, which leaves space for a RE Engine remake of RE1. I want to explore Spencer Mansion so bad in the RE Engine, but I agree Code Veronica needs the love.
I say one RE1 Remake was enough. They already proved the remake teams have no clue what Jill's personality was ever like in the originals by making her a bland, typical boss bitch in RE3Make, and the majority hated it. Capcom doubled down on keeping her that way in the latest movie but thankfully at least dialed it down a little. Still ain't the original badass Jill though. She's the one true Jill Sandwich.

Code Veronica is one of my favorites, I remember getting it for the dreamcast back when I was 13 in 2000. I currently have it for my gamecube but haven't played it in a while but it'd be interesting to see it remade.
Capcom definitely shuts stuff down because they shut down the fan game of resident evil 2,I think it was that looked better than the actual game and then they made resident evil 2 and then rushed part 3 remake which was so bad so I'm hoping if they shut down the code Veronica, they can actually get a decent remake out.
I would most like to see a modern remake of RE1. I know a lot of people think the HD version is already perfection, but for relatively new players like me it is almost unplayable with the tank controls and fixed cameras.
They should update resident evil resistance it's still a great game. And still has alot. to offer like objectives survive police station or escape the city before nuke. Also need a resident evil bring back all agents have not gotten alot of spot light. Ada helena sherry sheva January tyron samuel Rebecca jill valery more.
There are some instances when playing as Steve when dual wielding dealing with a single zombie since there's no targeting system he would just shoot left and right at the same time when the zombie Straight in front of him this is why I said a targeting system is needed.
RE Outbreak doesn't necessarily needs a full blown remake. But we could get a remaster with some changes, like the Voice Actors, and also get File 1, 2 and even cut 3 content. Also, some good connection and allowing voice chat.
The thing you forget with original 4 is Tank Controls. The remakes are a modernization of the old TC set ups. 5 was regular over the shoulder controls which is why I don't think it will be RE5, but instead Code Veronica. Plus everyone is still howling for more Clair. Also Code V definitely needs the Mommy Make Over.
I have never played code veronica, not because I don't want to, but because I just can't, I hate tank controls, also its not on PC. I watched a gameplay and I liked the story. It really deserves a remake.
I could see either RE5 or code Veronica. I'd love to see the do the first game with the over the shoulder camera style they've done with most other remakes.
I'm all for a Code Veronica Remake because out of almost all the games. it's the one that desperately needs it the most (Re 5 is still pretty modern and easy to get hold of, CV is not) and it really is necessary to play if you want to understand who Wesker is. Also hoping that the outbreak will get the same treatment, it would be the easiest to remake. Considering that game was basically an expansion of Raccoon city and reused various maps from 2 and 3 respectively.
Agreed, Resident Evil 5 remake is a likely and CV not so much its leave as is original look. So far, Resident Evil 1 remake is coming that no clue about release date? Having two options on fixed cameras or over the shoulder look.
I've said it before and will say it again, if it's Code Veronica Remake then Operation Havier should be made the DLC from Darkside Chronicles as it ties the lore of Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4 with Krauser together.

They changed it with 2 and 3 though so what makes 1 different?
@@MaybeHarvey It's the original. It was the first of it's kind. It already has a remake. It's like making Tetris first person.
I would love to see the Outbreak series remastered, even though it's not likely. The Alyssa easter egg in RE7 gave me a sliver of hope.
And in re3 remake you can hear Kevin radioing in
Right. It would be cool if they did Remake Outbreak but fixed it so that it becomes canon.
There was an easter egg involving Clive R. O'Brien from Revelations as well. You can find a book authored by him titled "The Unveiled Abyss".
Dude only 2 possible remakes before all they have got left to remake are the other ones it will happen makes Capcom too much money. It's 100% going to happen imo
Code Veronica is my favorite in the entire series. If they remade it and did it justice, I could die a happy man.
Same here, I remember sitting in my room playing on a Dreamcast and 13 inch TV, goodtimes
Saaameeee
Yea Code Veronica is awesome. I hope they keep the smooth and fluid controls.
They're never going to do it, unfortunately.
They're gonna do it and make everyone uglier, and the iconic sounds and music will be gone. There.
@@stark5679 RE:Zero needs a standalone remake because it needs sooo much work to fix it's glaring issues, much like CV.
Or the unofficial remake was too close to the original...
i bet my money both are in remake
RE5 will be first then they laucnh Code Veronica both are in process bcs they said clearly they are making the big ones as remakes not the Outbeak and shit like that
That mobster Leon cosplay looks sick. I'm seriously hoping for either a Code Veronica remake or Outbreak, but I'm also open to a remake of 5.
If they do remake Code Veronica, I am very curious on how the Bandersnatches will be. They were a cool enemy type, but were very easy to avoid.
I feel the opposite about them. Those things were scary and hard to avoid for me. But they are one of my favorite enemies in the game design wise
Please tell me how it was easy for you to avoid them, because they always kick my ass no matter what.
@anorexorcist1991
They definitely gave me a challenge at first, and after my 2nd playthrough, I learned the tank controls good enough to avoid them.
@@TitusPrime1995 I agree with that completely. If I ever avoided their attacks, it was from panic spamming button presses and some luck, but I couldn't nail down a reliable method.
Lol even speed runners hated them, stop the cap

There was tones of ammo in c.v.x to make up for it.
Yeah Kai, they left the other fan projects alone, but also slammed the team that was doing RE2 fan remake, if I'm not mistaken, they invited the team to their HQ and encouraged them to make their own thing, which ended up turning into Daymare.

@@ComfySal exactly! Better worded than my response, but exactly.

Alexia and Alfred alone deserve a remake. Very cool characters.
Explosive-tipped bolts, and SPAS-12 shotgun! Here we come...
Agree with Code: Veronica. Now MY main question... Do you guys think we will ever see a Dino Crisis remake? I know it was maybe not nearly as big a hit as the Resi franchise, but I cannot help but imagine the atmosphere and tension a remake would be able to produce.
No we will not
Capcom won't remake Dino Crisis until they can guarantee a certain amount of sales - they missed the opportunity for Onimusha remake a couple years ago when Sekiro and Ghost of Tsushima were popular so they'd be stupid not to at least have a pre-alpha framework ready to be built on.
A Dino crisis remake or even a Hollywood adaptation with big stars and a budget would easily overthrow the garbage that is Jurassic World.

As beloved as Outbreak was, I think CAPCOM has tried and failed on multiple occasions to capture that magic again (Umbrella Chronicles, Operation Raccoon City, Umbrella corps. and the catastrophic failure to get literally more than 10 people playing REVerse at any given time) will probably have them shy away from multiplayer - unless they seriously overhaul any potential RE5make's multiplayer options (or even get rid of it altogether?)
same for Re5r tho. Resident Evil 4 and 5 shared a lot of the same assets, so they already have a lot of assets for the Re5r
RE5 looks fine as it is. Code Veronica definitely needs one, as long as it keeps all the cheesy B-movie dialogue.
RE5 with RE4 remake graphics would go crazy tbh the co op of 5 is still one of my favorite things about RE
However, I agree with everyone else about Code Veronica, and from what I heard, CV is actually the origin story of the Chris and Wesker feud?
if they do 5 then i hope they actually make it a horror game instead of an action game
It’s action because Jill and Chris are highly advanced in this field than Leon

outbreak will not happen because they already made a poor attempt of that few times already and was canceled pretty fast the last being bundled for free with RE3R that nobody plays so next to that they wont bother to make an actual game like Outbreak

They're obviously remaking all the OG titles slowly but surely and its going to be awesome seeing Code: Veronica and Outbreak on next gen. Resident Evil could be the first franchise to be fully re made for next gen
First of all I love this channel and all you do for and with the RE Community!

Fr. Seriously 🙏
That's not how outbreak is spelt
CVX is not a main title, hence, pretty low chance of getting a remake.
@@Darstag You're gonna be surprised how I'm willing to play Umbrella Corps for a 100 hours+ just to get an RE OUTBREAK in return.
I realllllly hope you're right! Code Veronica is such a hidden gem. More people need to experience it!
It's 100% code Veronica because literally everyone is asking for it
Capcom always listens to the crowd
What they should really work on is the revival of Dino crisis
No shit we are getting another remake. Everyone is aware of this. The question is which one? RE5 or CV? Hopefully the latter ❤️
CODE VERONICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
"PLEASE CAPCOM STOP MAKING MORE REMAKE" its straight up recycle from ur previous game. Make something new for god sake, u could continue the story about jake. ANYTHING BUT NOT REMAKE !!!
Ur crazy I loved every remake
@@goptions4678 its lazy recycle bruh. They gotta make something new, these remake also ruin the character personalities and even looks. I dont need to go further but its like ur love one got replace
Bro grow up the remakes are better than the og
just came here for Leon cosplay, and oh boy, i'm not disappointed XD
True, this shit is unplayable, acting is awful and you can't even get a canon ending for it apparently
This game needs to be updated just like 2-3&4
They should update resident evil resistance it's still a great game.
The resident evil 2 fan game remake was shut down and became Daymare 1998
RE Outbreak doesn't necessarily needs a full blown remake. But we could get a remaster with some changes, like the Voice Actors, and also get File 1, 2 and even cut 3 content.
Also, some good connection and allowing voice chat.
The thing you forget with original 4 is Tank Controls. The remakes are a modernization of the old TC set ups. 5 was regular over the shoulder controls which is why I don't think it will be RE5, but instead Code Veronica. Plus everyone is still howling for more Clair. Also Code V definitely needs the Mommy Make Over.
I must just be crazy, I remember 5 having the same tank controls as 4.
@@ericbaker8781It controls identically to RE4, idk what he’s talking about.
I have never played code veronica, not because I don't want to, but because I just can't, I hate tank controls, also its not on PC. I watched a gameplay and I liked the story. It really deserves a remake.
Kai, dude, LOVE the custom PCs! I am so envious. If you do another, one to consider is the purple G-Virus.
