I’m loving the simplicity and sophistication of the fall/winter trends this coming season. I do think we will see some exciting innovative ways to add pizazz to these trends in streetwear as we get into the thick of the season. The fashion girls are definitely going to put a twist on it!
I am too! There were things like thigh high boots, bows etc that are also on trend so I cant wait to see how people jazz it up! Street wear always is more interesting so I know its going to be elevated! Cant wait!

I love your channel! When I was younger I would look at all the fashion magazines and was up on all of the styles and designers. Now, I'm 58 and don't look at nearly as many magazines. I prefer looking at TH-cam videos. I can taylor things more to my liking when looking at videos. You're so passionate and knowledgeable, you have such a fun and effervescent way of being. Thank you for these lovely videos!

Love it all. I've been wearing neutrals the last 50 years, and always have a red bag or shoes to add a pop. Metallics too. I'm new to your channel and really like the style of your presentation, pulling out shopping options at all price points. I was there in the 80s in the Robert Palmer short black skirts, big shoulders, sheer black tights. I don't think I'll go the whole hog with the shoulders now but am definitely doing a pinstripe suit. I'm a seamstress/tailor so can duplicate anything on the runway - I have a lovely length of very dark navy cashmere suiting with a subtle gold metallic pinstripe. I can't wait to make it up. The only trend I don't love is the dibby-dabby round-toed ballet flats, they always look very young girl to me. I prefer the sharper-toed flats and those red Tory Burch's are gorgeous. I'm a new subscriber, thank you!

Geography also has to be taken into consideration. Even during our coldest winter, it doesn't get cold enough in my area to wear a turtle neck, hoodie, and wool coat.

I just get so excited when I see you have a new video. I love clean lines but I also love sparkle, I have vintage Gucci bags in gold and silver that I pulled out last year and will continue to use. I pulled out the million pairs of reva ballets and I made sure I resoled the black patent one lol. I did pick up the Marc fisher ballets gold with black cap from the Anniversary sale at Nordys. I’m on the hunt for a maxi black wool coat otherwise my over filled closet have all the trends you mentioned. I seen that silver bag you’re on the waiting list for in person and she’s a beauty!!! Camel coats are everywhere but the reason why I still don’t have one yet is finding all the elements I want in one coat…calf length not too short or long, single-breasted with perfectly tailored or peak lapels not too narrow or wide and looks good when collar is up, side pockets only, buttons on sleeves, vent in back in the perfect shade of camel.
I want either a full wool or cashmere/ wool blend or full cashmere
I enjoyed this video very much - I have both classics and sparkle in my wardrobe - I have quite a bit of red in my wardrobe including some great coats and accessories - as an elegant melanin rich woman, I can choose to wear minimalistic pieces, full colour, or a mix - My sense of style is clearly defined so I inject a few trends in the season or as mentioned in the video, just move forward trend led pieces already in my closet (eg. red coat) - Cheers !!

Fantastic video! Helping people personalize trends is one of your sweet spots. When I saw the shirt and tie look I decided to swap out the tie for an Hermes scarf with a scarf ring placed just above the collarbone. Also I watched another video where the lady mentioned something you had also mentioned a while ago - runway shows aren't literal. They are exaggerated versions of trends. Mostly watch for the shapes, colors, fabrics and incorporate those in a wearable way in your closet. I'm gonna watch some runway shows and take notes.

For those who love color, I think a way to participate in the trend is to emulate the shapes , cuts, and siloutees on the runway. A cinched blazer and trousers in fun color will be beautiful! You dont have to sacrifice personal style for trends. Mix it up! Have a beautiful week! ❤️

I love summer weather but always feel so uninspired when it comes to the summer trends. I think because it's hard (for me) to feel like I doing summer trends at work. But Fall/Winter - look fly, incorporate trends and still work appropriate.
I love red and strong shoulders are hitting. Both are my jams.
Summer is my least favorite fashion season too. There is just something about being able to layer and wearing more clothing that gives more styling opportunities IMO🤷🏾♀️ In the summer im just hot and I need to dress for the weather for comfort.
Red is one of my favorite colors ! A deep red was the accent color at my wedding!

I always love when you say "And you probably have this or something similar in your closet already..."😉TBH I've always liked tailoring even though I'm generally more casual now - slacks with sneakers, a great blazer with a wide leg jean - so that won't change. I am most excited about RED! Its my favorite color so I'm looking forward ot picking up a few cool new pieces. I just don't see how ballerina flats and white leg pants could ever be a thing..maybe cropped wide leg
I'm trying to figure out how to make it work for me.. I see people wear it with wide leg pants but I'm not sold on that style on me. (I tried it on yesterday) I have also seen someone style them with cropped wide leg as you mentioned and it did look better. I'm still playing with them. We shall see!
