    I just got this pump and I am trying to figure out where the o-ring goes! It popped out when I took the flange backer off but I can’t tell where it was. It isn’t shown in the instructions that came with it and you didn’t seem to use it in your video. Does it need to be used at all?

    • @pumpingmilk

      Sorry I didn't add it to the video, if you look at the base of the motor (the part that connects the motor to the collection cup) you will see a groove where the o ring fits into. It is there to help secure the pump motor to the collection cup.
      I should note, my pack came with a spare o ring set. If your pump motor feels loose when connected (which may happen over time) I recommend changing the o ring over then 😊 Hope this helps!

    How is the suction on this pump? I currently have the Paruu P10 but it has been causing discomfort while pumping even though I’m using the correct flange sizes (and it’s quite heavy!)

    • @pumpingmilk

      It has a 280mm/Hg suction strength, which is strong for a wearable pump. However, it does have the 9 suction levels so you can adjust the suction to suit your needs. In terms of discomfort, do you think that from the weight of the pump or the suction strength?

      I went to my LC with this pump to check the pressure gage on it and it's stronger than the medela symphony

    Soon to be mom here, I’m due in a couple days and trying to figure out everything. Where do I order different flange sizes? Also once the nipple is in the flange should there be space or no space at all?

    • @pumpingmilk

      Congratulations 😍 And thanks for the great question! In terms of flange sizes, the BellaBaby flange is a 24mm. So you will need a flange insert that reduces the 24mm tunnel down like this one amzn.to/47B8Ryp (affiliate link).
      There is a great illustration in this Healthline article which shows the correct positioning of the nipple in the flange www.healthline.com/health/breastfeeding/breast-pump-flange

    • @pumpingmilk

      @rizvanadilbhar8025 if you've got the right flange sizes and the pump has adequate seals, then my next suggestion would be to trial the different settings. You can try on lower suction levels and then work your way up based on your comfort/output. You can also try pumping with the different modes. Everyone is different so unfortunately it isn't a one setting fits all. Your body might prefer the shorter suctions with the massage mode over the longer drawn out suctions with the expression or depth mode (or vice versa).
      If you still can't get any increase then you might want to try pumping with a different pump to see if you're having the same issues. It could be an issue with the pump where you need to contact the manufacturer.

    • @pumpingmilk

      In terms of a pump, it's an affordable option, so it also come down to your budget. There are better pumps for low milk supply, but there are also lots of factors that can impact your low milk supply that are not related to the actual pump.
      If you have low milk supply then you can try power pumping to help increase it: th-cam.com/video/baKXKkMwUZY/w-d-xo.html
      You will be able to power pump with this pump 😊

      I bought it but it's hurting me I don't know why...!??

    • @pumpingmilk

      @SmilingGazelle-ox6xm have you measured your nipples to make sure you have the correct flange size? The 24mm that comes with your pump may be too big or too small. If too big, you can buy flange inserts to reduce the size.
      The next thing to look at is to make sure you're starting on a low suction level (1 or 2) and then slowly increase. If it becomes uncomfortable then drop back to a lower suction strength.
