Had one like this as a young man. Bought it off my parents to keep my drunken uncle from buying it. Mine was a Calais 4-door hardtop with metallic turquoise paint with a leather and jacquard interior. It was a 1 owner car when my folks bought it in '69. I bought it in '70 or '71 and kept it a year or so before trading it for a '66 Tornado and regretted it ever since. What a car that was. (The Caddy) Traded the Olds for a '62 Buick ragtop. Nice car, but nowhere near my Caddy. Thanks for sharing.
De vraies voitures .les hommes qui les ont conduites sont très chanceux. Même la plus sophistiqués des voitures de nos jours ne leur arrivent même pas à la cheville.
Hey your car is a Calais Sedan, not a Sedan de Ville. The Calais was the entry level Cadillac back in the day. The Sedan de Ville had large windowsill moldings and a very plus interior with standard power windows and such.
Beautifully restored, nice engine idling 😊

Did this one not come with the side trim that goes the length of the car or was it removed?
