The Beale’s are old goods. The Branning’s are a too predictable family. The Carter’s are becoming like the Mitchell’s being used too much. The Butcher’s are pure gold but they seem to not add up to the Slater’s. The Watts’ were a diamond in the rough family. The Fowler’s were the best family in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Sharon, Denise, Dot, Kathy, Kim, Stuart, Raine and Shirley are the most underrated characters.
In EastEnders families are always like "Oh, I had so-and-so when I was young." - Mo had her daughter Viv when she was 15, Viv had Lynne when she was 17, making Mo a grandma in her 30s, Kat had Zoe when she was 14, making Mo a great-grandma at 48 :o Carol had Bianca when she was 15. Then it turns out Shirley is Mick's mum - had him at 14, he became a dad at 17; Tina was a teenage great-auntie :D Linda's mum had her when she was young, making her yet another glamorous granny. It would make a huge change to have people who became parents later in life and became grandparents AFTER 40.
