theres a strat to cheese the vasto, just try to find one of the rocks scattered around the map and when a vasto spawns run to the closest one and then when ur 2 / 3 bars go backward and go on the rock
For insight to why you got jumped after the adjuchas jumping just know that for schrift you need to kill 3 adjuchas(player or npc) as part of the prog, I don't like doing that but I was in a vc and my friend kept telling me to just do that instead of finding npcs so theres definitely a good chunk of people that'd do it

its impossible to go fist for fist against your vasto boss unless youre a god parrier, the only way to kill it alone is to get him to spawn and when you get to half health climb up to a rock to heal.
Nahhhh type soul is crazy ngl. Also if you like rpg games that are not about bleach try out pilgrammed. The parrying system is way easier. It has advanced and balanced bosses based on what stage the area is. You could skip some useless areas because items from the area are not needed.
