Stay in the car in the quiet sea of Sanriku while watching the tide hole and the remains of the Great East Japan Earthquake
As a person living inland, the sound of the waves was soothing.

神戸に住んでいます。震災から28年。風化させてはいけないなあと思いつつ、当たり前の日常にこんなことではダメだ。もらった命を、精一杯と、思い返す日が明日です。動画を見させて頂き、東日本大震災に遇われた方々もきっと同じような思いをしながら日々過ごされてるのかなぁと思いました。東北回りながら震災の足跡を辿ってみたいと思いました。
阪神大震災や東日本大震災で亡くなられた方や行方不明者も大勢いて、残された家族のこと思うと胸が痛いです。
私の父も震災の前の年に亡くなりましたが、その頃から生と死を深く考えるようになりました。
その辺から、生きるありがたみも感じ始め大自然とも向き合うようになりました。
今はTH-camで世界中の方とコメントのやり取りをし、日本だけではなく世界中の視聴者と繋がって分かったことは、もっと悲惨な地域の方でも一生懸命に生きていると言うことです。
当たり前の日常に満足することなく、あの日で時計が止まった人の分まで大事に生きて行こうと思います。
静かで心落ち着き癒されました

いまの世の中の状況を思うと、自然の音を聞いて過ごす時間はとても癒されます。

What a beautiful coastal scenery! 🤗 But to think that this place was destroyed by the tsunami is so scary 😧. The sea might be calm now, when nature unleashes its power we humans are no match to it. While enjoying the beauty of Mother Nature, I have a lot of respect for her too. 🙇🏻♀️

At that time, the place where I live was turned off for three days.
This truck was created for use in evacuation during camping and other disasters.
Now I'm happy to be back in the beautiful sea.

@@Smallbasecamp Wow! That must have been some really scary three days. 😱 It is always necessary to be prepared for the worst. We just had our house equipped with backup generator in case of power outage, even though we rarely have problems with electricity but a big snow storm can knock down power lines, so better be prepared than sorry.
I hope you never again have to use your truck for evacuation🙏

A small number of Kei trucks are also sold in the USA, but it seems that there are few places where they can run depending on the state.

This is where the tsunami happened but has now been rebuilt.
It is a memorial to preserve the memories.
We received a lot of support from Australia after the 2011 disaster.

I couldn't really enjoy this video.
People all over the world were worried about us and helped us a lot, but we lost too much.

Thanks for your videos, and going to the trouble of putting up the subtitles. 33 years ago my wife and I took our 550cc Honda Acty van from Sydney to Adelaide via the Hay Plain, and back via Melbourne. It was a week holiday and was, without side trips 2,978 klm. 😁 My wife reminded me that we were much younger then. Lol
It's a great trip! The trip of 3000 kilometers is amazing! Also, I miss the 550cc Acty Van! 🚙 It was a great trip for a young couple! By the way, 33 years ago I was 12 years old 😄
@@Smallbasecamp I miss the Acty too, it's was sold by Honda in australia. I gave it to someone to do up and use and they chopped it down to a truck and ruined it. We had a Daihatsu Move after that and now I have a Mitsubishi minicab Miev which I imported from Tokyo. I really love your box van, it looks so neat and comfortable. Thanks for making all your videos.

It is a spicy dish unique to Japan.

That Tsunami really did a number on the coast of Japan and Asia...I never seen anything like it...
It was the largest earthquake ever recorded by the Japanese today.
It was very difficult because the power went out for two days immediately after the quake.
I did not know what to do when I saw the tsunami in real time on the navigation TV attached to my car.
But 11 years have passed since then, and Japan has managed to recover.

@@Smallbasecamp You start praying first.. Then you better learn how to be self reliant real fast..Why I have an RV..and learned bush craft skills.. You never know when you will need them. As I live in Texas. We were without power for 4 days and freezing temperatures with snow and ice.. I had people asking if they could take some wood from the BBQ restaurant. Just to cook and stay warm..I bet they learned from that experience..

Selam. Türkiye'de yaşıyorum. 2011 yılında Japonya'daki o üzücü depremi biliyorum. O deprem bizim ülkemizde olmuş olsaydı şu anda ben yaşamıyor olurdum. Çok güzel bir ülkeniz var ve o güzel ülkenizde hep yaşamak istemişimdir. Ayrıca dünyada dürüstlük dendiğinde ilk Japonlar akla gelir. Gerek devlet olarak gerek toplum olarak çok iyi bir yerdesiniz. Videolarınızın hepsini izledim. Hiç müzik koymadan ve konuşmadan çok güzel çekim yapıyorsunuz. Hep böyle devam edin. Ailenizde sizde hep kalbinizin güzelliği gibi geçsin hayatınız. 🙏💕
O zamanlar iç kesimlerde yaşadığım için güvendeydim ama kıyı bölgesi büyük zarar gördü.

Fiquei horrorizada com tantas pessoas que perderam a vida😢😢

Esta viagem foi feita ao longo da costa da minha província natal, a província de Iwate.
Foi destruído por um terremoto na época, mas agora foi reconstruído.
Meu pai faleceu um ano antes do terremoto.
O ano seguinte, 2011, foi repleto de tristeza com a morte de muitas pessoas.
Mas agora todos estão vivendo fortes e aprendendo com aqueles dias.
