I live in Italy and I serviced in the Air Force for a bit, and while I was there they actually had Atmospheric Water Generators and they were real! They really produced drinkable water, very useful during hot summer days. I was told that those are used during missions when they have to travel to foreign places and set up camp, so this is a way for them to always have drinkable water, even in deserts or hotter places where even though there's less water in the air enough's still present to generate some potable water. But yeah, outside of military use it's not used much precisely because of how expensive and just difficult it is to maintain. Btw, their AWG was way bigger than the product in Unbox's video, about 3 times the size. TLDR: They're a thing for military use but not very suited much for commercial use.
Actually, there is a source of free water. Just go to any shop selling expensive stuff in India and they'll give you distilled bottled water for free, just for sitting there. Can be handy to know, if you're thirsty and can't tolerate tap water.

I used to make instant coffee for me and a client of mine when I was caregiver. In a 16oz cup I used a large spoonful of instant sometimes two , 4 to 6 ice cubes, a bit of milk (whole) about 2oz, sugar all in the bottom of the cup, and then pour in boiling water slowly while stirring, and still to this day it is my favorite cup of bean water. Always was warm/above lukewarm, but instantly drinkable and soothing.

To be clear, he's made videos about popular products like brand-name phones and said bad things about them. I remember him talking about this or a similar product. I think he's far too ignorant to understand how something like this works. He only "evaluates" products other than tech at the most basic level. @@sabin97 Espresso is very strong coffee. The coffee Americans in the pre-Starbucks world is generally pretty weak -- hence the name "Americano". It still has about the same amount of flavor as a typical American cup of coffee. (That's not to say it tastes the same as a percolated or drip coffee, just that it is roughly comparable in strength.) I suppose you could do the same with beer, but you'd need carbonated water. If what you started with was ~8.0% alcohol by volume, it would come out to ~4%, which would still be stronger than most American lagers (Miller, Budweiser, Coors, etc.)
I enjoy an americano over just straight espresso when drinking socially. Because you can stretch out the drinking experience. It has a very different flavour profile than just adding more water to regular ol' drip coffee.

One of the most underrated YT channels. Seriously. I get why too. REAL science is awesome, but slow, and takes either some lengthy explaining or prior knowledge of concepts. POP science (like sci show et al) take really basic principles and makes them flashy. But it doesn’t take as much prior knowledge or explaining for the general audience to “get it”. Thank you for taking the time to always go the extra mile to put quality (though lengthy) content out there consistently for years!

I remember him talking about this or a similar product. I think he's far too ignorant to understand how something like this works. He only "evaluates" products other than tech at the most basic level. I can't imagine someone watching his videos and assuming he knows what he's talking about, outside of camera quality and shit like that.
That said, I'm not dismissing the idea that he's shilling for various companies, maybe he is, but even his positive reviews don't come off that compelling to me having watching some of his videos. I guess everyone involved is diving heavily towards the lowest common denominator.

@@sabin97 Espresso is very strong coffee. The coffee Americans in the pre-Starbucks world is generally pretty weak -- hence the name "Americano". It still has about the same amount of flavor as a typical American cup of coffee.
(That's not to say it tastes the same as a percolated or drip coffee, just that it is roughly comparable in strength.)
I suppose you could do the same with beer, but you'd need carbonated water. If what you started with was ~8.0% alcohol by volume, it would come out to ~4%, which would still be stronger than most American lagers (Miller, Budweiser, Coors, etc.)
I enjoy an americano over just straight espresso when drinking socially.
Because you can stretch out the drinking experience.
It has a very different flavour profile than just adding more water to regular ol' drip coffee.

Ah it's dirt cheap, you just have to have the ultimate knowledge how to make your own coffee, which the new generation lost when Starbucks & co. arrived. In a month supply of good grained or milled coffee is cheaper than a months bottled water supply. Luckily I know how to make my own coffee, and our tap water is of perfect quality.

One of the most underrated YT channels. Seriously. I get why too. REAL science is awesome, but slow, and takes either some lengthy explaining or prior knowledge of concepts. POP science (like sci show et al) take really basic principles and makes them flashy. But it doesn’t take as much prior knowledge or explaining for the general audience to “get it”.
Thank you for taking the time to always go the extra mile to put quality (though lengthy) content out there consistently for years!
Real science is not great! It’s incredible boring and complicated and mostly incremental fucking baby steps and endless hours of statistics.
