That's just how some japanese people are (at least in some sport anime i watched). They treat tournaments like their lives depend on it. I mean just look at her losing a game and then she looked like someone about to commit suicide.

Straight up the vast majority of audience have no idea what they are watching. They don't have the ability to see the message and themes of a story, instead they think a good show is "good action", "power scaling", and "kaiju battles". They probably never even saw actual great fights before that's why their bar is so low.
To address the safety part, I could believe that Bandai might think that if the 3D files could be accessed by users, more sensitive info might be accessible as well and they may be wanting to double check everything (though yeah, it's probably not that). I do still believe Bandai could do some pretty cool things by interacting with the 3D printer community in some way, but they probably won't.
Just the fact that P-Bandai exists makes the possibility of Bandai interacting with the 3D printer community basically zero. Why allow people to print special parts by themselves, when you can sell a whole kit with those premium parts plus a premium price tag?

Thanks to BO2 I learned a lot about the Mobile Suits of the universal century. I love the idea of nonuniversal century MS in the game. However, I have no issue with only the universal century now when they will realize Anchor, XI, Penelope, F-90, F-91, and the Cannongan.
I don't know why everyone was surprised that Build Metaverse was mid. As soon as it was announced it would only be 3 episodes and released on youtube I realized it was an hour long advertisement to promote Gunpla and the Metaverse online service. It was shallow from the beginning
My theory with Build Metaverse is, we were always intended to get an anniversary special for the 10 years of BF, so it was probably in production that way at the start, but bandai changed plans and wanted to pimp out their new Metaverse project so the plot got gutted in favor of segments pimping out the Metaverse idea. This shows off their Metaverse, but it neglects the machines and characters people wanted to see here actually do something cool and substantial, which we didn't get. Don't even know what happened to Fumina, who went from sporty, competitive tomboy to ditzy newscaster? What?

Well, let's be honest, I didn't have much hope on Metaverse as an anime in the first place, because this was Bandai's way of making people like their Metaverse project. As I said in my comment for last vid, they messed up the lore building the (completely absent) link between Fighter and Divers. Also let's not forget that what little we saw of Sei in Fighter Try hinted him at being older (also older than Try's cast), yet, he appeared the same age as he was in the original show. It is really sad, 'cuz because of this publicity stunt, they destroyed the possibility of a well made and good Fighter x Divers crossover serie.

It's a shame because a lot of the new build designs are baller and deserved a better show to be in, Build Strike Exceed especially.
I've impression that the staff of Metaverse anime thought they get 6 or so episodes and only realized they got 3 midway. Consider how the first episode is focus on (after introducing Rio, that is) how Rio grow up by working with Riku, and the second follow the same footstep but with Hiroto instead but then has Sekai appears out of nowhere and quite pointlessly. I think they originally planed to has Rio learn by working/battling with each of the previous series one-by-one for four episodes, before wrapped up the original plot afterward. That's whatI think anyway.
When we got the announcement of Gundam Build Metaverse having only 3 episodes I could tell they were just using the Build series to promote their crappy Metaverse. They were never intending to make a cool crossover with a cool story, they wanted to take something we already liked & attach their bad service to it, hoping we'd all be sold on it. And it didn't work. The episodes themselves are fine, fun even. But it won't make anyone wanna try the real Metaverse.
I hope GBO2 gets AU units. Seed grunts dont really stick out among UC units. Ace units at the Freedom level might be too much. Tallgeese lvl and below for AC. Non GN drive grunts from 00 seem fine for balance as well.
So, pertaining to Battle Operations 2 group sortie removal. For one, the system took ages to find another group to match your groups size. You and your closest buddy could be sitting for hours waiting for the game to either get a match going, or flat out fail. Secondly, the fact that the system never seemed to work, and instead of fixing it, or refining it, they just removed the system. And lastly, they did these adjustments after a survey they did....in Japan. Not even allow everyone else voice their opinion. As for the upcoming gunpla, while I am looking forward to the Narrative C-pack Ver.ka, would've preferred so many other Gundams that don't have MG, or are in desperate need of a 2.0, personally hoping for an MG Atlas.
I managed to get myself the files. I’ve heard a lot of people saying that the files “aren’t that great,” or that they are unusable except to more experienced modelers. I’m here to say though that none of that is true. I still can’t believe that I have official gunpla models on my PC. I haven’t explored all of the files yet, but if anyone has any questions I’d be happy to answer.

GBO has always been that one bastion of UC only MS combat between how the machines move and the relative scale of combat engagements itself, opening the door to AUs is a completely misguided idea.
@@tomvhresvelg9286 A string so far removed from Universal Century that they barely count. Furthermore Turn A is less connected to UC and more just the end point of ALL Gundam universes, so in a sense it is still AU.
@@OutrageousDragon I think for gameplay purposes that's a pretty weak claim, since at full power the turn A should just make any video game it's featured in a complete non-event. I just don't think anything from those series should be in a game that has up to this point been solely focused on the expansive Universal century lineup of Mobile Suits.
To be fair this is about what I expected for another gundam build series all the fights have zero stakes and the protagonist Is an uninteresting Mary Sue, rerise is the only exception to this

group sorties leaving rated matches doesn't really affect me much since my friends and i all have different ratings for rated so even if we did go into rated more often we'd be waiting for an eternity for a room to build up with ratings across the board
Can I say this now? The Metaverse is a terrible idea. I REALLY WANNA WANNA WANNA GUNDAM BREAKER 4 INSTEAD OF THIS GARBAGE! Make sure nobody dares get its units torn piece by piece to avoid getting leaked. They had to take down Breaker Mobile just to involve a chaos involving 3d printers and cannon shells (the cannon shell part is a joke, BTW).

As a GBO2 Player now and last time saying I'm a Gundam Evolution player yep understood what you mean in some capacity so let me explain Some Units in GBO2 in standard Matches sometimes are so overpowered you die immediately meaning you become the punching bag but there is a catch. Unless you are the one who wins its good but also it makes your rating super good and bad in matches. I think those raid used they indicate might be the Brawler Types except Gyan models. There one particular that throws a lot of punches that it's annoying to receive in your end and it sucks and imagine the MS you also have is good but you go down. I'm primarily a Beam Machine Gun or Ballistics Machine gun it is hopeless a lot on your end. But if they say in custom servers you don't get to use it yes everyone will be salty over this but if it's only standard to earn ratings it's OK. but Free match and custom it will be the bad decision. AlsoI want to point out they made some good decisions before this when I entered at their start of 5th Anniversary which is cool and all but when they sure make random decisions well. Is everyone happy about it?

what i dont understand in the Gundam Build anime is the timeline, i thought the Build Fighters (plus Try) and Build Divers (plus the Metaverse) is like 5 - 10 years apart coz of the technology leap showed but seems like none of the cameos characters aged, at all. Seems like they bring all the characters for fanservice imo

Probably a cheap payout for mediocre writing. Sunrise has continously given us childish stories and characters because they arent invested in the shows anymore and pay for cheap writers. They just want the money for the merchandise and move on to the next project. Even though a part of the community loved WfM, that show was just a cash grab series, miliking as much merchandise as they can from cute characters and decently designed mobile suits. Iv never seen Sunrise/Bandai produce so many cheap trinkets and cute accesories for a series that will not be remembered all to well in 10 years.
@@foreverfornever1124 WfM was not a simple cashgrab. Bandai hired some serious talents behind the show to make it good (writer of Code Geass among them). Also, Bandai did care about Diver's failure coz after that show ended, they replaced Kimura with Yasuyuki Muto (Unicorn anime writer) to make Re:Rise and thus improving the writing quality significantly.
@@androyus Ichiro has had several hits and many misses, some very bad. Also not his first Gundam series either as the screenplay writer for Turn A that was also medicore to terrible depending on who you talk to. This aint one of those hits though, and Im not mad or sad it didnt work out, not terrible like some of his other projects but no where close to the best. I just got tired of of trying to give WfM a chance the same way I did Black Butler: Book of Circus haha. WfM had good talent but ultimately it was wasted in this series in my opinion. Re:rise was a step up I do agree, I didnt mention that. Better than Divers for sure. At least I liked some of the characters and mobile suits in it to have actually bought kits for the series. Then they completely did a 180 with that Battlelogue trash and this new series aint doing them any favors either.

I think i already said this in the episode itself on GundamInfo, but i find it hard to take their sibling squabble seriously as its being portrayed in game. like imagine VRchat-esque movement tryna slam the door after some "emotional" heated argument instead of..idk, taking the headset out and logging off right then and there. Also true. wouldve been nice if the whole premise was a a hybrid of Build divers + personal combat from Build Fighters cause then theres actual stakes. Also sei coming outta nowhere still looking young like he was back in the first series didnt make sense. so clear that its just a blatant ad placement with no proper effort
11:25 on gbo2 the steam version is also currently entirely broken for anyone on AMD systems it seems. Don't know what happened this update but something is seriously broken with it. Artefacting and crashing galore.
Imma be honest, there was nothing they could have done to fix Build Metaverse. It was always a blatant commercial for their shoddy "metaverse" in hopes to funnel people into a new method of taking your money. Ever since I heard about plans for NFTs in the Gundam Metaverse, I lost all hope.
Sad thing is, it's something of an anti-commercial, at least for the Typhoeus Gundam Chimera. Getting jobbed so hard moments after appearing...almost made me cancel my pre-order.
The idea of all the gundam build anime characters being in a single place and interacting is cool, but the inevitable ties to a metaverse ruin it Also having 3 episodes really squandered any opportunities of actually caring about the new characters, it’s entirely a fault of the runtime

So after watching the 3 whole episodes of Gundam Build Metaverse, is safe to say that im kinda dissapointed, i know that we shouldn't pair this ona (original net animation) trilogy with the rest of the Gundam Build shows because those are full-fledged anime series and Build Metaverse isn't, but if we must then Build Metaverse is easy the worst of the Build series those far, yes, even worst than the original Build Divers, the trilogy is like 10% actual plot and 90% just plain fanservice, and while the other Gundam Build shows were full of references, cameos and such, those shows, for the most part, at least try to balance said fanservice with their respective plots, at the end Gundam Build Metaverse is not the proper tribute for the Build series that we could hope for, but instead a quick and shallow publicity stunt made by Bandai Namco and Sunrise for their Gundam Metaverse social whatever thingy that they're trying to sell...to no avail of course.
The problems with metaverse ova is that it is a fictional series trying to promove not only something that is bad (actual metaverse), but also in the fictional sense it is a sequel to divers which already is a better conceptualization of the "metaverse". And then you try to have an original story and a battlogue series full with fan service at the same time. Even the narrative doesn't make sense in the universe, I dont see how it is better than the GBN of divers. It tried to do much more than it could in such little time and so many characters (and also trying to showcase so many different gunpla)

Fighters and Divers aren't set in the same universe. While Metaverse is set in its own universe where characters from past series exist simultaneously there.

@@chassegallerie2910 i meant it really didnt work out for them, i was just giving my guess as to why they went this direction, and how they were having all these characters at one place to justify it. and i agree with you, it felt like at first we were getting a new Build but what we got was a half finished anniversary special instead designed to advertise a shoddy VR platform.
It's a shame because a lot of the new build designs are baller and deserved a better show to be in, Build Strike Exceed especially.
I've impression that the staff of Metaverse anime thought they get 6 or so episodes and only realized they got 3 midway.
Consider how the first episode is focus on (after introducing Rio, that is) how Rio grow up by working with Riku, and the second follow the same footstep but with Hiroto instead but then has Sekai appears out of nowhere and quite pointlessly. I think they originally planed to has Rio learn by working/battling with each of the previous series one-by-one for four episodes, before wrapped up the original plot afterward. That's whatI think anyway.

When we got the announcement of Gundam Build Metaverse having only 3 episodes I could tell they were just using the Build series to promote their crappy Metaverse. They were never intending to make a cool crossover with a cool story, they wanted to take something we already liked & attach their bad service to it, hoping we'd all be sold on it. And it didn't work. The episodes themselves are fine, fun even. But it won't make anyone wanna try the real Metaverse.

I hope GBO2 gets AU units. Seed grunts dont really stick out among UC units. Ace units at the Freedom level might be too much. Tallgeese lvl and below for AC. Non GN drive grunts from 00 seem fine for balance as well.
Build Metaverse was so mid. Hell even that gunpla-kun mini episode was way more entertaining than the 3 main episodes combined

So, pertaining to Battle Operations 2 group sortie removal. For one, the system took ages to find another group to match your groups size. You and your closest buddy could be sitting for hours waiting for the game to either get a match going, or flat out fail. Secondly, the fact that the system never seemed to work, and instead of fixing it, or refining it, they just removed the system. And lastly, they did these adjustments after a survey they did....in Japan. Not even allow everyone else voice their opinion.
As for the upcoming gunpla, while I am looking forward to the Narrative C-pack Ver.ka, would've preferred so many other Gundams that don't have MG, or are in desperate need of a 2.0, personally hoping for an MG Atlas.

I managed to get myself the files. I’ve heard a lot of people saying that the files “aren’t that great,” or that they are unusable except to more experienced modelers. I’m here to say though that none of that is true. I still can’t believe that I have official gunpla models on my PC. I haven’t explored all of the files yet, but if anyone has any questions I’d be happy to answer.

GBO has always been that one bastion of UC only MS combat between how the machines move and the relative scale of combat engagements itself, opening the door to AUs is a completely misguided idea.

@@tomvhresvelg9286 A string so far removed from Universal Century that they barely count. Furthermore Turn A is less connected to UC and more just the end point of ALL Gundam universes, so in a sense it is still AU.
@@OutrageousDragon I think for gameplay purposes that's a pretty weak claim, since at full power the turn A should just make any video game it's featured in a complete non-event. I just don't think anything from those series should be in a game that has up to this point been solely focused on the expansive Universal century lineup of Mobile Suits.

group sorties leaving rated matches doesn't really affect me much since my friends and i all have different ratings for rated so even if we did go into rated more often we'd be waiting for an eternity for a room to build up with ratings across the board
Can I say this now? The Metaverse is a terrible idea. I REALLY WANNA WANNA WANNA GUNDAM BREAKER 4 INSTEAD OF THIS GARBAGE! Make sure nobody dares get its units torn piece by piece to avoid getting leaked. They had to take down Breaker Mobile just to involve a chaos involving 3d printers and cannon shells (the cannon shell part is a joke, BTW).

As a GBO2 Player now and last time saying I'm a Gundam Evolution player yep understood what you mean in some capacity so let me explain
Some Units in GBO2 in standard Matches sometimes are so overpowered you die immediately meaning you become the punching bag but there is a catch. Unless you are the one who wins its good but also it makes your rating super good and bad in matches. I think those raid used they indicate might be the Brawler Types except Gyan models. There one particular that throws a lot of punches that it's annoying to receive in your end and it sucks and imagine the MS you also have is good but you go down.
I'm primarily a Beam Machine Gun or Ballistics Machine gun it is hopeless a lot on your end.
But if they say in custom servers you don't get to use it yes everyone will be salty over this but if it's only standard to earn ratings it's OK. but Free match and custom it will be the bad decision.
AlsoI want to point out they made some good decisions before this when I entered at their start of 5th Anniversary which is cool and all but when they sure make random decisions well. Is everyone happy about it?

what i dont understand in the Gundam Build anime is the timeline, i thought the Build Fighters (plus Try) and Build Divers (plus the Metaverse) is like 5 - 10 years apart coz of the technology leap showed but seems like none of the cameos characters aged, at all. Seems like they bring all the characters for fanservice imo

Probably a cheap payout for mediocre writing. Sunrise has continously given us childish stories and characters because they arent invested in the shows anymore and pay for cheap writers. They just want the money for the merchandise and move on to the next project. Even though a part of the community loved WfM, that show was just a cash grab series, miliking as much merchandise as they can from cute characters and decently designed mobile suits. Iv never seen Sunrise/Bandai produce so many cheap trinkets and cute accesories for a series that will not be remembered all to well in 10 years.
@@foreverfornever1124 WfM was not a simple cashgrab. Bandai hired some serious talents behind the show to make it good (writer of Code Geass among them).
Also, Bandai did care about Diver's failure coz after that show ended, they replaced Kimura with Yasuyuki Muto (Unicorn anime writer) to make Re:Rise and thus improving the writing quality significantly.
@@androyus Ichiro has had several hits and many misses, some very bad. Also not his first Gundam series either as the screenplay writer for Turn A that was also medicore to terrible depending on who you talk to. This aint one of those hits though, and Im not mad or sad it didnt work out, not terrible like some of his other projects but no where close to the best. I just got tired of of trying to give WfM a chance the same way I did Black Butler: Book of Circus haha. WfM had good talent but ultimately it was wasted in this series in my opinion.
Re:rise was a step up I do agree, I didnt mention that. Better than Divers for sure. At least I liked some of the characters and mobile suits in it to have actually bought kits for the series. Then they completely did a 180 with that Battlelogue trash and this new series aint doing them any favors either.

11:25 on gbo2 the steam version is also currently entirely broken for anyone on AMD systems it seems. Don't know what happened this update but something is seriously broken with it. Artefacting and crashing galore.
Imma be honest, there was nothing they could have done to fix Build Metaverse. It was always a blatant commercial for their shoddy "metaverse" in hopes to funnel people into a new method of taking your money. Ever since I heard about plans for NFTs in the Gundam Metaverse, I lost all hope.
Sad thing is, it's something of an anti-commercial, at least for the Typhoeus Gundam Chimera. Getting jobbed so hard moments after appearing...almost made me cancel my pre-order.

So after watching the 3 whole episodes of Gundam Build Metaverse, is safe to say that im kinda dissapointed, i know that we shouldn't pair this ona (original net animation) trilogy with the rest of the Gundam Build shows because those are full-fledged anime series and Build Metaverse isn't, but if we must then Build Metaverse is easy the worst of the Build series those far, yes, even worst than the original Build Divers, the trilogy is like 10% actual plot and 90% just plain fanservice, and while the other Gundam Build shows were full of references, cameos and such, those shows, for the most part, at least try to balance said fanservice with their respective plots, at the end Gundam Build Metaverse is not the proper tribute for the Build series that we could hope for, but instead a quick and shallow publicity stunt made by Bandai Namco and Sunrise for their Gundam Metaverse social whatever thingy that they're trying to sell...to no avail of course.
Oh god no. Lets hope nobody wants a Non UC Mobile Suit in Battle operations but I think we all what the answer will be.

The problems with metaverse ova is that it is a fictional series trying to promove not only something that is bad (actual metaverse), but also in the fictional sense it is a sequel to divers which already is a better conceptualization of the "metaverse". And then you try to have an original story and a battlogue series full with fan service at the same time. Even the narrative doesn't make sense in the universe, I dont see how it is better than the GBN of divers.
It tried to do much more than it could in such little time and so many characters (and also trying to showcase so many different gunpla)
I just want to be able to play the game by myself I can never match with anyone so I can't really level up at all

Fighters and Divers aren't set in the same universe. While Metaverse is set in its own universe where characters from past series exist simultaneously there.
