Yes, because as sad and pathetic as it is, there are a lot of people out here who attempt to weaponize the police against Black people, because they know all too well that there are biases and treatment inequalities, and that it will likely tilt the scale of believability in their favor. Look at the woman in the park with the dog who called the cops and lied about that man assaulting her right in front of the camera. No shame. The man who called police on the little girl who he chose to refer to as a “small woman”. He wanted the cops to come out because she was “behaving suspiciously”, when all she was really doing was catching an invasive insect that residents had actually been asked to help destroy. He knew who she was. They’d been neighbors for years. Some people are just nasty and miserable.

I don't know with this one. Something doesn't sit right with me. The defendant said "I never asked her to give me money for the fence, I knew it was on my yard the whole time and so always knew it was my cost" but then goes on to provide an exact amount that she asked her to pay, because it's always been a shared fence. I wonder if JM took the not so nice things the plaintiff said at first and decided then and there that the defendant was in the right. Normally she would pick up on inconsistencies in someone's story like that.
Let's be clear here, I am not saying the plaintiff was a nice person and some of the stuff she said was horrible, but it seemed to me like JM knew some of it was true - the partner stuff - because she said "he was 19 and that was years ago", didn't admonish her for it being defamatory and even when the defendant went into saying how horrible it was she moved the conversation along past that point. Something feels wrong in this one! But at the end of the day you need proof

The plaintive should be a shame of what she has done and caused. After the JM ruling . Plaintive said she didn't get to tell everything she wanted too. All the plaintive wanted to do is trash the defendant more out in public of her private life. A person's private life shouldn't be spread from another person.

It's obvious the plantiff is just a nasty hateful person and the defendant was lucky to get out of that friendship when she did b/c who knows what evil things the plantiff would have tried to do to ruin her life. Notice the first thing that came out of her mouth was allegations that the defendant was "inappropriate" with children (trying to destroy her reputation with the judge first and foremost). What a disgusting person. God bless that defendant for having to live so close to someone who lacks morals that severely.

So, it's a "shared" fence when you need it but it's only her responsibility when you have to pay. I will admit that fence issues need to be dealt delicately. We have a great relationship with our neighbor when he was about to put up a new fence. We asked for him to include us in the plans even though it was his fence so that we get what we need too. Of course we offered to pay for a part of it. But his workers came and built it one day without his permission which meant they built it without our input. This meant they didn't do a part that needed to be replaced on our side and it doesn't cover the part we need bc we have a dog. Not the neighbors fault but it was a disaster. We will have to deal with it but I knew all this going in and it still went south.

Am so lucky to have good neighbours . We live in a court , so it is an end road that does not lead anywhere , 8 houses in that court , and we know each other well . We look out for each other , and we know if there is an unfamiliar car or person in the court . BBQ sundays once a month with everyone . And no problem of leaving our keys when we go for holidays , and they even look after our dogs when we are away . Seeing this case makes me feel grateful for the neighbours that I have .
