I totally second you about not working or working very less hours during the first few months but clearing the PCE! I did the same way. I worked only limited hours in a week. Provided you have money to manage or someone who is working already like your spouse, it's the best things to do. I was initially desperate to find a PTA job cause I did not feel like sitting home and just studying as I used to work back home. But I realised that it's not about starting a job soon, it maybe for other jobs but our priority should be PCE.

Can't you do your PCE remotely? It seems after credentialing you infer a move to Canada is required at this point? I was going to wait until I do my PCE remotely then fly to do the local BC practical exam then try express entry/find a job in Van without leaving my job in the UK until these are completed. I am misinfomed?
Some of the books would be Kisner, Maggie, Reed and Jung . As they mentioned know more about clinical reasoning and the indications , contraindication also the precautions .

Bro if you want to settle in Canada come as sson as possible . But it gets quite hard and costly so I will suggest to come after bpt . Please do your own research but.

After completing your credentials from CAPR you have 2 years to give your 1st PCE written component and you have total attempt to clear it.
