- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Rohit Chopra joins 'Squawk Box' to discuss the state of consumer borrowing, why large banks are charging higher credit card rates than smaller banks and credit unions, steps consumers can take to cut back on credit card fees, and more.
How has credit reporting changed !?! I just said i never had issues obtaining credit until several years ago .
Large banks are still giving near 0% interest on savings when fed funds rate is well above 4%
I always get charged high interest and fees for withdrawals. I owe thousands in interest.
Ban 28% interest rayes
Ban poor people from credit cards
So making an open market (open) or more open makes him a clown
I felt like he handled Becky’s hostility well.
The scam needs to stop
great questions becky! its clowns like these that our taxes are paying for. what a disgrace
Guys, just stop using credit cards. Its not that hard.
Very hostile and obnoxious interviewer.
Stop all your payments to your credit card. You don't need to pay it. It's a complete scam that charged a 25% interest rates for no reason. They get the money for for literally pennies on the dollar. And then they borrow it out 25%. Don't pay it after seven years the debt is gone
….right
Lol I hope you don't use your own advice
@@thedude5040 your fool. My debt reset like america and your home ownership will reset too. If you have mortgage you dont own the property it has lien on property and they will come enforce siezing it.
