In the history of Rhumba music, iam yet to find a rare talent like,Mayaula Mayoni. A gifted footballer of all times representing his country in international callings . Suddenly shifting to music. He was a composer, vocalist and guitarist of international repute. He has executed this song with Prince Youlou as a co-vocalist, Mpudi Decca on Bass guitar amid the impossible sax by Pedro. Tell me, who else would much!! Dr. Ogeto International
I am excited to read this and I agree. I discovered Mayaula 2 years from a soukous mix in the song Alpha B.C. with Don Padrino. From the way they arranged the entire record, the guitars till the end I fell in love with his mastery 💎 He was a sound genius
This is absolutely good music. Very talented brothers from DR Congo. It reminds me those golden years when Kenya was Kenya with a vibrant economy and a promising future.
Freddy Mayaula Mayoni was a multi talented young man. He started as a footballer playing for various teams and ended up with the Zaire National Team Leopards. He later studied in France before coming back to TP OK Jazz where he was Composer, Rhythm Guitarist as well as Saxophonist. His songs include Bondoki, Ba Chagrins, Cherie Bondowe, Momi, Ndaya, Mbongo, Ahmed Bakayoko and many others. A great soul who died too soon.
A very talented guys.... R.I.P.MAYAULA and the great African musician late LUANZO LUAMBO MAKIADI. I feel such very very happy hearing their nice songs. *BILENGI MINGI*
