Hello…What is the cabinetry made of….There is no information on the website….Also is there any insulation and if so what kind…. Just a suggestion… Showing the wire runs in accessible area would be nice to see…. It would give me a better idea of the attention to detail…. Thanks Tony
HI Tony, Thanks for watching. The new cabinet faces are a laminate with background wood utilizing marine grade plywood. The entire van uses batten insulation. I do not have any photos of their wiring harnesses, but Roadtrek does have videos of each stage of the 12 stages of their production. Thanks for watching! The refrigerator will run for days off the batteries. Certainly the time it will run will vary depending on what else is being run off the batteries in conjunction with the refrigerator.
11:43 Not a fan of WET BATH. We prefer the smart DRY BATH design by Roadtrek Pivot where you can separate the shower with the toilet using a swivel wall. Hope more small RV van manufacturers will build their shower and toilet that way.
Can this be ordered without a sink in the bathroom? That sink is possibly a deal breaker for me. Would also like a pop top on this model. I do like qvery much the storage and high fridge. It would be a perfect camper with the pop top option and a microwave with an oven feature. I’m hooked on browned dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, corn bread with beans, etc. 🥰

We probably could remove the bath sink at the dealer level if the factory would not. Thanks for watching. I think you may be confusing the chase with the Zion. The chase has no power rear sofas. It can go into 1 large bed using the back rest cushions and some support boards. It is not power.
I really wish they would not put a sink in the bathroom. It takes up so much space, and there is literally a sink right outside the bathroom door. The bathroom on this model would be huge if the sink were removed.
The short answer is the rear bed configuration. The Zion has side power sofa or rear forward facing power sofa (optional). This is a rear twin bed configuration is used only on the chase model. We also have a Zion in stock if you prefer that model.
Interesting design. I’d like to know what the designers were thinking when they put the fresh water fill where they did? Water often spills when filling, what a mess! Furthermore, in most places the water fill area of a campground is swarming with mosquitoes. In this configuration they would all end up inside the van. Terrible idea.
a little water spilling there is no big deal. Many RVs now have water fill inside the rear. You open the rear doors. If it spills its on the floor. The door jambs are designed to drain water.
this is not the new 2023 front and chassis, I don't believe. We were in a new one this last weekend anyway. just a little different but, looks great though...

What's up with the cheap labels on the side/rear of the van. Use raised labels/placards which look so more attractive to the consumer. Using the crappy flat label sends a bad message about how cheap the build might be inside the RV. So, just for an example I have eliminated the Roadtrek Chase from my list.

RoadTrek needs to stop putting that faux tri-windows on the raised roof which starts to peel off after few year then it becomes an eyesore. Either put real windows or just leave it as it. Everyone know it's a Roadtrek without those fake windows.

This one is beautiful..I had my thoughts on the Zion but this one is impressive..
If it had all wheel drive, a night stand/drawers and storage for two golf bags, I'd buy it today.
Any plans for all wheel drive?
Need to know how many seatbelts,does the shower curtain leak,, how many TVs and do the front seats rotate???
Besides the 3 small front windows (which are now just paint), another Roadtrek trademark are the stainless steel panels surrounding the cooking area.
It's convincing me more and more. I'll have to go see it soon

How long can the frig run on battery hours..days?

Where is the campground water hookup i.e. for using water without the water pump?

A lot of people complain if there's no bathroom sink bc they consider washing up in the kitchen sink unsanitary.
I totally agree. However most women would freak out if you spit in their kitchen sink. I know my wife would have.

I’m glad the are using glass solar panels and not the white plastic ones that get brittle and fall apart after a few years

Where are the coach batteries? Inside or out?
Roadtrek uses a battery module that is able to mounted outside. They have a built in BMS that manages heat packs in the battery for cold temp usage.
