I am the moon, the moon that can help to dream. Even though we always dream, the possibility of us remembering about those dreams are very low. I used that to show the love between a man and woman. I am the moon, and I have a woman I love; therefore, this moon approaches the woman through her dreams. Even though she sees the moon through her dreams, she always forgets about the moon because it was all a dream. She knows she dreamed, but she would never remember what it was about. It's sad to say, but because the moon loves the woman, he would keep approaching the woman through her dreams, hoping that one day, she would remember him.

I read somewhere that Artificial Love was supposed to be for NCT but the managers (or the producers) asked Baekhyun to sing the demo and it was so good that the song ended up being given to EXO!

The underrated masterpiece that is She's Dreaming... I love this song so damn much, I have a thing for Chanyeol's whisper raps! Jongdae described the story of the song as the moon falling in love with a woman and he can only visit her in her dreams but when she wakes, she forgets, yet every night he still goes to her
I'm glad that Artificial Love ended up with Exo. On the other hand, I wish Obsession stayed with NCT lol I don't think it fits Exo at all
This album is special because it showed how exo had grown and it was very experimental because they were changing their style for their upcoming albums such as the war and dmumt these songs tho they get addictive I find myself listening to cloud 9 and one & only a lot a lot lmaooo

heaven is like one of the first exo song that chanyeol wrote and it's honestly my fav in this album, it just gives you this chanyeol vibe since it's something he'd do when composing a song (the instrumental and everything, like the record scratching etc), you'll see what i mean when you get to exo-sc albums heheh
She’s Dreaming is like a beautiful mystical lullaby. I love the harmonies at the end of the song. It’s great to play at night. Truly dreamy.
I feel like in a lot of their "love songs" they aren't actually talking about a girl, especially in ones that are given to them by SM. Perhaps the writers decided to go with "girl" for public consumption but there's this running theme about the girl being a machine/transformer/artificial and how the exos are being controlled. Now, red velvet has been confirmed to be the villians of the SM universe and there has been indications that they control exo so I'm wondering if maybe the lyrics are about the villians(?)

Can't Bring Me Down is such an underrated song in EXO's discography; it does three-fold as a fun song to rock with, one of the few times EXO has ever kinda told their haters/antis to f-off (in the most polite EXO way, of course), and is also able to be tied into their storyline/concept!~ It's a tragedy that EXO has never performed it live, imo... I always hope they'll perform it at an award show or during one of their concerts~~~ (I'm also like you, in that I love good imagery, and Can't Bring Me Down has some great lines^.^)

She's dreaming has a special place in my heart, it's a very metaphorical song of a moon that appears in a dream and sees the girl who's dreaming and so when chanyeol says "oh no no no come back" it hits, because I imagine the moon to desperately want the girl not to leave but dreams end, then the next time she dreams the moon is always new to her... Oh also, do listen to the Chinese version on your own, hehe, it's the only song where I can't choose the Korean or Chinese version, because both are so good, lay sings on it. fun facts: Heaven was written by Chanyeol and is considered an lgbt song by the fandom along with the song "They never know". Some people say it was inspired by Baekhyun. She's dreaming was written by Chen. And both are my favourite songs!

Oh man the ex'act album I still remember the day it came out EXO L where freaking out like crazy. The first 2 albums let us know EXO means business and they're here to cause Mayhem. When this third album drop they were telling us we come with something new for your ass. And I still remember top producers around the world where praising and giving EXO props for not being afraid to do something fresh and brand new just like they keep doing till this day. EXO albums have no skip especially for me I can't explain how good this album was I mean that's why it won album of the year indifferent award shows that year. It's crazy when EXO makes a comeback other Labels want producers to write songs like just like EXOs

Heaven is a very unique song. idk where you got the idea from but I definitely wouldnt say it's a song like 3.6.5. or Tender Love and all those "cutesy" songs😭 it was my favorite song on the album in the beginning tho, such an amazing song

It’s possible you remember Heaven from one of Cesar Oh’s guides; the instrumental is used in a couple if I’m not mistaken. We were so happy for Chanyeol; he worked on Heaven for about a year. ☺️ Isn’t She’s Dreaming is so brilliantly made?? The instrumental sounds muffled, almost like it’s underwater or in the clouds, really making the whole song dreamlike! I love Cloud 9 myself; it’s one of the few songs on the album that I didn’t need a few listens to fall in love with. 😆
