    Any N channel MOSFET fits here? Can I install IRFP90N20DPBF, should it dissipate 520 watts or something similar but more powerful than stock? The standard transistor withstood 355 watts for me, then exploded, damaging the board, even with the Scythe Ninja cooler.

      I advise those who want to change mosfets not to look ONLY at the general data such as current, voltage and watts but also and above all at the SOA (Maximum Safe Operating Area) graph. Here you will see the maximum voltage and current torques that the mosfet can handle. You will notice that the one you have chosen "IRFP90N20D" exactly like the one that Atorch mounts in the DL24 does not show the graph with the line for DC operation but stops at 10 ms. This means that the manufacturer does not consider it suitable for continuous operation as occurs in an electronic load. You will also notice that IRFP90N20D, despite the greater power of the MOSFET that you find already installed, does not have higher currents except in the 3-7 V area at 20 V, it carries 15A at 10ms while the original Mosfet carries 20A. In DC the performance will be lower but the manufacturer doesn't tell you how much. See figure

      If you really want to change things, you need a Mosfet that has the DC curve in the SOA or better yet that is designed to operate in a linear regime. They are expensive Mosfets and above all difficult to find in this period, forget what comes from China because 98% is Fake.

      @@francescacosentino6975 you seem to know well what you’re talking about as opposed to me :) Could you please recommend some mosfet that would be better than the original one but not as excotic and expensive as mentioned in the description Ixfb100n50p ?? I think i would be pretty happy if i could run this DL24P which I’ve just bought at around 200W on stock cooling system. Many thanks in advance!

    Impressive, just a pity that this new mosfet is not cheap :)
    I bet 10 US dollars that if you install the fans correctly (as the manufacturer suggests), the transistor operating temperature will drop even further.

    that is an expensive cooler, at that point wouldnt it just be better to the the 24M modular version which can have 4 modules to get 600W

    halo bang, sy mau coba, ini cuma pke mosfet ixfb100n50p, di ganti single mosfet aj ya, gk ad komponen yg lainnya ya ? dan utk masang nya, bagian belakangnya ke arah fan ya kak ? mohon infony terima kasih

      iya bang arah mosfet bagian yg ada logam nya itu ke atas yg nempel heatsink fan , ga ada komponen lain yg ubah hanya settingan saja yg di ubah , dan pastikan heatsink fan nya bisa menghandle panas dengan baik , abang pakai heatsink fan apa bang ?

      @@riannata8309 untuk handle di atas 400w wajib heatsink fan yg mumpuni , kendala nya ya kalo heatsink ga mampu mosfet pasti jebol bang , kalo heatsink mumpuni ga ada kendala , kalo abang mau heatsink noctua yg saya itu ada bang saya harga miring , ya bisa lanjut ke wa dan saya arahkan pake mosfet lain yg lebih murah namun aman 450w up
