Just got my aurora pro and this was very helpful, thanks for sharing!
How is the focus? Looks good in the video.
I haven't seen any issues with focus. It's been consistent across the frame
Did you do this with a colour meter or just by eye to a reference monitor? And did you run a sweep of primary and secondaries to see how close to reference? Thanks!
I used the calibration settings in the link I provided in the description. Those settings are provided by one of the members of AVS forum, who is an expert in calibration.
I just got my aurora pro, and I used to for 10 min (on wall, since my screen is still on its way) my head was hurting and my eyes were strained. Do not know if you felt that too.
Nope. I have watched many movies on it, no such issue. I'm using a proper ALR screen though.
Are there any screens available for this UST in 150in that are electric/motorized?
Yes Screenpro makes 150" alr motorized screens. But it's lower quality than Vividstorm or regular material.
Yep, just got mine delivered. There's a tweaker on AVS forums who got one too and really likes it and posted settings that supposedly make the quality on par with Vividstorm, he's got both screens so can compare them easily.
How are you able to change the setting while playing the video. I have to go to the setting menu everytime.
How are you playing the reference videos? Off a USB? Computer?
