i don't really get why people say they changed, i mean, they did, a bit, but if you see their twitter pics they are as weird and funny as they were before (i think even funnier). their music became better (and that doesn't mean you have to like it), and maybe a bit deeper, but isn't it great to see a band grow up, every fase of their life lies in their music. At first they were great, now they are great. i just think they're awesome, no matter what.
ive been thinking for quite a while now that they will go back to the 'so wrong it's right' sound (the best) now that they have made 2 more accessible albums (which are still amazing) they have the power to go back to what they were
i remember when they were such a smaller band with a smaller fan basis,oh i miss those days, when no one knew about them, they were like my own secret. not anymore i guess

i agree with everything except when you said it got deeper. read the lyrics of Lullabies and compare it to ANY song on Dirty Work. i still like them, but they've lost those really heartfelt lyrics that made me love them so much. but that's just my opinion.(:

I know that, they rarely create anything without a message in it. But if you expect a band to stay the same for the entirety of their careers (which is not the same as semi-relapsing, by the way) it's kind of ridiculous.

It also might me Matt Flyzik, he used to alot of harmonies and stuff, he was their old tour manager but sadly he doesnt work with them anymore.

Why would you want the new album to be like the old albums? Just buy the old album twice, then. It's kind of pointless.
