Once you are done, consider giving the save file and these videos to Stadsmuseet! In fact, I kinda think the City & the City Museum should have summer jobs for youth interested in 3D design etc to create models of Stockholm street furniture through the ages (lamp posts, benches, garbage bins etc). And of some buildings too. Which then ought to be uploaded to the workshop using an official City of Stockholm account.
@@sthlm1925 Makes me sad they said No, makes me hopefull for the future that you got as far as a meeting! Paradox is HQ'd in Södermalm, so getting them in on it might be an idea for the next attempt (of course, wait a while first).

Great video! Nice Music. Besides, I was drawn here by the fact that a Golden Section and Golden Cut exist. I live in a similar neighbourhood such as Gamla Stan and there are proposed renovations to a building not more than 50 to 80 years whilst the over all building would not be more than a 100 years. As these are not the Colonial Era buildings such as those made of yellow stone bricks. Thus, carrying out such a work just cannot be compared to the regality attached with Stortorget or Gamla Stan. But, nonetheless would hate for my Architect to falter! Perhaps, Cities: Skylines is the way!
Ahh, love this! I had the same idea for Oslo, but from 1937 (because there are high quality flight photos from that year) but didn`t have the ballz to jump into it because of the lack of some service vehicles and some other things. I applaud this attempt, and will follow! :)

The speed you've sped it up to looks good. I can see what you're doing, go back and slow it down in the player if I want to check again, but still moves along fast enough that it doesn't get "boring".
Fantastic work! I have had similar ideas through my Company. We have developed a VR App "Biography of a street" for Linnégatan in Gothenburg. Would be really cool with an interactive Stockholm "Google street-view" for different years.
