I heard this song sung the other day on BYU Network. It is very beautiful. Jo Ann you play it very beautiful on the Autoharp ❤️ Merry Christmas to you.
Hi Jo Ann! I remember reading somewhere that you were gonna make a tutorial about converting 2 row 15 chord autoharps into 3 row instruments. any tips on the best way to accomplish this? Thanks!
SRXAltered Yes, I’ve done some video clips but haven’t put it all together yet. The buttons on the chord bars are attached to a strip of brown plastic that rides in a channel on top of the bars - which are aluminum. You basically take five of the bars and slide the plastic down until the buttons make a third row. Then you cut off the excess plastic and re-insert it in the other end of the bar. It’s a little more complicated than that, but that’s the gist of it. I’ll try to get the video up soon.
@@autoharpist looking forward to it! Since 15 chord autoharps are common and affordable compared to most 21 chord models, I love the idea of making them much more usable and breathing new life into them.
Good morning Jo Ann my name is Elizabeth Barringer but family and friends call me Betsy hope you and can be new friends. With much respect I thank you so much for the free autoharp . Lessons I have been watching your videos and Love them. Have had an interest in autoharps since kindergarten. Have owned a few. Working on a new to me harp. very rusty and out of practice have not played in awhile. I also play by ear and not really very good but playing makes me happy . So i would love to tag along with you want to be a member of your angel band if I may it will still a month or so before I have the harp in my arms. Can't wait. Thank you so much. New student Betsy Barringer of Smithville Texas wishing you a wonderful memorial day weekend
