I use a prescription bottle cap. My lids can go on screw-on style or pop-on style. I pop the lid onto the bottle. I add double-sided tape to the lid top. I stick the pad on. When I am through using the dauber, I turn it upside down, insert the pad into my prescription bottle and screw the lid on. The pad is then contained inside the bottle. Keeps from making a mess. You can write the color of the distress pad you are using on masking tape and stick to the side of your prescription bottle.
What a beautiful journal for grandmother. I love your tips in saving money and repurposing your supplies. I’m so glad you showed up in my feed. I look forward to seeing more of your creations and getting more tips from you. 😊
Nice tip about the dowels on the stamps. Thrifty ideas. Thanks for sharing. ☺️ I enjoy all the tags and labels you included. Very important for documenting!
I love those tips! I also started making journals soon after the start of the pandemic and I am hooked. I’ve made around 30 but many are still in various stages of completion 😂.
At the 15:20 mark is the fold-out heart that I mentioned in your latest video, requesting a tutorial. While it looks simple, I am not naturally creative, so if possible, could you please show how it was made. I absolutely love this journal, and it was after viewing this video that I joined as a subscriber. Thank you so much for sharing! Looking forward to more videos!

I just found you and love your ideas and tips! I’m very interested in making my own ephemera, do you have a video on making stamps.?
Yes, I do. Or I should say, it shows after I've made one and I'm testing it out. I'm planning a tutorial soon. So keep a lookout ☺️
Beautiful 🫶
Empty pill bottles the llid end covered by a make up pad makes a good dauber. Use double sided tape and ordinary adhesive tspe to attach pad.

FYI, I have an email address for business inquiries here on my channel.
What do you use to attach your stamps to the dowel?
I used Aleene's Fabric Fusion Permanent Adhesive, but I've used school glue in the past.
Beautiful journal. Love the tips. Very clever.
Did you make that dauber ? How did you do that?
One dauber is a felt pad on an old thread spool. Another dauber is a piece of foam on the end of a lid. Recycling and easy ❤️
That's cool. I wish there was a tutorial.

Do you sell your journals? Do you have a Etsy shop? Just curious I am a new subscriber.
I do sell them locally! So far just among friends. You can find my email address on my "about" page. :)
