I love that John told jojo he feels jojo has not only taught him to dance but has given so much more. Though they know to many it’s about being gay, but to them it’s so much more. Fans see that, whether you’re gay, straight, old, or young. You feel drawn to them. I know everyone says there’s really no point because rose will win. But wouldn’t it be wonderful if they did. John is just such a wonderful man! JoJo is beautiful & talented. I am a 68 y.o.gay from the US. I tear up everytime I see theese two dance together. I would have never dreamed this. I wish the puritanical, conservative US version would have the balls to have a same sex couple. Their performances are truly inspirational & stunning dance routines.

Now i do applaud Disney / ABC for this pairing. But as a 68 y.o. gay man, I am thinking this pairing of JoJo and Jenna is deemed to be a bit more paiatable for their viewing audience. From my understanding even titilating for some heterosexual men. I am certain, given my 48 years being an out gay man that a gay male couple would ruffle some feathers, JMO. Heck even in my high school years (in the 70s) two young women dancing together was no big deal. You know John brought up something I just mentioned to my niece to be at a family dinner. "We're brought up to not cry,don't play w/dolls..." John said. I just told my niece your grandma had to work and would leave me with her mom.Well she came home one day and I was (really) playing with dolls. She told her ama why are you letting him (me) play with dolls.He's a boy. My grandma said let him.It isn't going to hurt anything. Who knew???? Lol.
i do wish john would really watch johannes and see how easily he moves and how fluid he is bcz it still makes john look stiff. so he is still holding back. and its very noticeable. if john could really go flamboyant as johannes and really let go that could have been the best thing on the planet even with the failed lift! john still has inhibitions and bcz johannes doesn't its very noticeable, its still great for a non dancer but just a little bit more loose and it would be just perfect!
No, you are mistaken. John appears stiff but he’s not. Johns muscle mass is not the same as Johannes. Dancers stretch all the time and keep their muscles very supple. Johns muscle mass is more bulky. It takes a long time to make bulky muscle supple that can stretch like that. John is doing what he can. They are different body styles. He keeps giving as much as he can. His muscles just don’t allow it to happen like that.
John is not stiff though to you he is compared to jojo. In actuality sometimes I feel jojo needs to tame a little to match John energy. Example: the Charleston. That dance so difficult and John smashed it. Keeping the energy the same is important. We all know jojo can move and has a flamboyant way about him, he sometimes needs to tone it down a bit.
