Very cool, thanks for the instrumental track. Watch the mtv classic albums & they tell you how the tape/music degraded over time as they were working on the songs - specifically one song for Mick's drums. They had to go back & do everything else by hand to cut the tape & make it sound as good as it does!
chill as can be, as most Fleetwood Mac songs are. This instrumental would be great to listen to driving on an empty country road at night, smoking a fatty.
The individual stems used for the original recording of the studio version of songs occasional get leaked or released, this is an example where the vocal stem has been simply removed while everyother stem, drums, guitars, backing guitar, keys, etc, are all in place
@@carledwardsagan8295 I'm no expert but uh, assuming the mixer made sub-mixes of the vocals, they wouldn't make sub-mixes of everything and then save that off (not with this band anyway) and not in the 70s. They didn't have forethought that anyone would be doing or want to do covers/karaoke 50 years later. So SOMEONE had to get the master at some point and then create a mix w/o vocals from that. Correct me if I'm wrong. Remember, this was the 70s, not 2000 or 2010s. They had TAPE and that was it. I think those Guitar Hero and Rock Star game companies released a lot of this stuff so maybe that answers some of it but maybe not this one. I mean seriously, who was able to gain access to a copyrighted MASTER TRACK on 2" tape at a recording studio? They'd have to pay $ cuz no publisher/copyright holder is gonna let anyone touch those - except a huge game company planning to do it with tons of songs and can pay the music companies a LOT of $. Okay, in the desc here it says REMASTER so that's how. Someone who remastered (which isnt' the same as mix) this song prob somehow had it remixed w/o vocals or else they have no idea what MASTERING means and in fact they did REMIX it. I'm assuming the latter is the case. Mastering is not mixing. oh well. Where ever it came from, it's great to hear these tracks isolated.
@@carledwardsagan8295 In the 70s they could do submixes (stems I guess) but given this band, I think 24 tracks might have been enough so they'd probably not even need to do that. I mean what, 8 mics at most on drums, bass, guitar, keys, then three or perhaps 6 tracks for vocal. what is that.... ? 18 roughly. And I'll bet lots of these (now that I think of it) were done when these people reMIXED these songs (which usually I don't like). They think they can improve the orig mix by adding more verb. hehe So.... I wish all of the old songs were available in multitrack. That'd be awesome. nice chattin at ya. :) I just think a lot and was trying to figure out where these people get these things.
@@TruthSurge It is a fun thought to think how far these tracks have travelled since their production. All this mixing and stems sure have come a long way since then, hell most current pop artists credit a long list of producers and mixers now, compared to the 2 on this album

Thank you, the piano accompaniment is so clear here
great running or driving music.........put on auto-repeat.
This song gives me a boner!!!
If you play this at .75 speed it feels like a dream lol
💛
It feels like a beachy hazed dream at normal speed to me

I put it on a loop. Can't remember my dreams.
Reminds me of what it must be like to knarf the garfel. Just joking, I like it.
Once in a million years a lady like her rises. Oh no Rhiannon you cry then she's gone, and your life holds no answer. Your life holds no answer.

Nice job top band Fleetwood Mac 58 likes now
Melody at the beginning almost sounds like it’s going into “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”
wow, how did you get this track w/o vocals?

Ok thanks for the correction there, I'll admit Im unfamiliar with stem tracks. Appreciate the post
