Cleave and Smite! (Aku wo Tatsu Tsurugi)

So it occurred to me the other day while scouring the internet for a remix of Sanger's most well-known Super Robot Wars theme that the song does not get nearly enough love from vgm remixers. I found one decent one, but I feel a Sanger theme should have at least one of two things to make it, well, a Sanger theme: either the raw power feel of Gate of Magus or the epic heroic thing that Sword-Soul-One-Strike pulled off so well, both of which I thought the one I managed to find kind of lacked. Personally, I prefer the one that has a bit of both going for it, so I picked Aku wo Tatsu Tsurugi to try and remix.
Next to no vgm-remixing experience prior, so it's probably far from perfect, but there's my attempt at bringing into this world an awesome remix of The Sword That Cleaves (and/or Smites) Evil.
Also, generic disclaimer about how I don't own Super Robot Wars or its music or shit like that. Cause I don't. (How would you know if I didn't tell you?)

The opening sounds like Castlevania...hell, the track, with the exception of the Japanese instrumental parts, sounds something put of Castlevania.

It's epic indeed, and it goes to my mp3!!! I would like to listen to a more Power Metal version of it, this is too soft for the epicness of Zengar Zombolt :P Anyway it's a great song!
