- A photo taken by a parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help shows a illuminating human figure that appears to be the Virgin Mary. This miraculous story was reported by WGN-TV Chicago.
One north suburban Catholic Church is talking about a very thought provoking picture, shot with nothing more than an Iphone.
One woman snapped a photo last Friday in the chapel of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview and says she got so much more.
Maureen Kent has been attending Eucharistic adoration at the church for more than 2 years. Kneeling last Friday, she wanted a picture of the Eucharist or host in the monstrance, the ornate gold stand it’s placed in.
The picture showed a bright light, an image larger than a human and appearing to hover next to the host on the alter. Catholics believe the host is the True Body of Christ.
No photo-shopping, she says, no doctoring the digital image. Just what she calls a great surprise when she looked at her screen.
Her friends in the chapel also believe it is the Virgin Mary. Authentication is not, right now, a consideration by Maureen Kent or even the church. They are relishing what they call a miraculous moment, privileged to have seen and believed, they say.

Hi, I'm just new here to watch this video. Before, I always went to adoration room to pray and praise the Lord. Whenever I pray there and closes my eyes, I see Mama Mary beside the Eucharist and many Angels surrounds it. Which makes me blessed every single day, until now. God made a lot of miracles in me like I felt like I've been lifted up whenever I pray. And whenever I ask for help, He is always there to help and guide me like that time I ask for a help coz I will be operated with appendicitis but after I receive the Holy Eucharist, I felt joyous and after that I felt nothing itchy in my right lower abdomen. And when the doctor checked me up, he was suprised that my appendicitis has gone. ♥️ God always there for us and always at and in our side. ♥️ God bless.

When my husband was dying of cancer in 2008, Mary appeared to me in the chapel in St. Mary of the Annunciation church in Bristol, Indiana. She came to comfort me. I believe she did not die as is taught. She just went to sleep and was taken to Heaven. Because of this she can come down to earth to help us. She has been seen coming down on Ray's of light at Rome City, Indiana, which is considered holy ground.

I also was raised Catholic and I can think of lots of reasons on why I don't go to church, but after watching this video taped into my reason ad makes sense, I can't change my ways drastically over night but take smaller steps and research and learn gods word and pray I can have the wisdom to comprehend. My grandmother passed when I was 5 years old. I was sad and worried. A figure of a woman visited me one night soon after when I was in bed, floating and in a long blue dress. @@debraperkins4448 Here is this whole scenario being outed again. I was raised in the Catholic Faith BEFORE Vatican II. In 1968 when Vatican II began its "opening its doors to allow fresh air" to enter into the Church, what it did allow to enter was PROTESTANTISM. My parents left the Roman Rite and found the Byzantine Rite and I was relieved. Yet, I myself, left the Catholic Church in 1970 and remained away until 2001. After I confessed my sins and rejoined the Church, I was floored by what I saw and heard. This was NOT the Catholic Church I remembered. Everything was so drastically different. Even Churches without pews or kneelers. And then the Eucharist being dolled out by EMs and in the hand. While I enjoyed the Mass being said in my native tongue, English, I felt something was not right. So I have a church in town that has the Sunday Mass in Latin and folks with their little kids come from all everywhere, inside and outside the diocese where I reside. Recently, this reference of invalidly of the "Novus Ordo" (I called from beginning, the "English Mass" and it says that any priests that one has confessed to who were ordained AFTER Vatican II are null and void. Long story short, while I do attend the ENGLISH MASS, I refuse to received the Eucharist in my hand and/or from a EM. I cross the aisle to received from the Priest (only). I have been hearing videos lately on the validity of the New Mass etc., and how Pope Paul IV after John XXIII ran with the new stuff without so much as classes of instruction for the laity. Nuns left, priests married the nuns and the ball went rolling along. So Debra I assume you attend only the Roman Rite with the Mass said in Latin. Do have that correct? God Bless.

My husband saw the exact same figure leaning over my side of the bed. Same size, shape only it wasn’t glowing. It was just white. This was days after I had been praying to see Our Lady & as an afterthought I said “let my husband see you”. She hears.

The blessing given to me was an immediate acceptance of the divine nature of the Holy Eucharist. Learned it at First Holy Communion time and I pray God I never waver. I'm awfully slack in my Catholic practices, but the Holy Eucharist makes me to a child. Which, of course, I am, even as an old man.
Please pray for my sons who have left the faith....we are possibly close to something....maybe end times. Regardless, their souls are lost....I am a mother who mourns for the souls of my boys...please offer a prayer for them and the conversion of all lost souls. I'll take the risk of public humiliation to share a story. For those who think Mary's focus is anything but always on turning sinners to her Son Jesus....here's a story. Happened to me. I was on the island of Aruba and found a random Shrine. Their was a statue of Mary up front. It seemed to be the custom that money was placed at the statues for the poor. As I was leaving money a voice as clear as day said "give it to My Son". I didn't see anyone. I saw no statue of Jesus but went to the back of the cave. There it was. A statue of Jesus. It was a very surreal experience but only underscored that Mary's mission is to turn hearts to Jesus. Always.

I belive it because when I am in High School, when I am 15 years old I pray Novena for 9 days and I meet Mother Mary.
It's like a dream but I feel like it was not dream.

Last Sunday night i had a dream. I Saw Mary on a cloud with baby Jesus on her arms, she asked me to do a novena for her because one of my friends was very very sick , next day a called my friend but she told me she was ok..anyway i started the novena that monday.....today thursday one of my cousins called me to tell me that yesterday his 10 years old son had a surgery but accidentaly the doctor made a hole in his intestines but they didn't realized after 3 hours later then they had to make another surgery again... almost pass away but he survived... maybe that is what she asked me for... I'm not sure if u even had any theological training. But to get to God, u must learn about Paul, Peter and the 4 evangelists. So try telling atheists about Jesus and they'll quickly run away from u. U must start out first with the CREDIBLE WITNESSES.
Jesus deserves all praise and glory. Also bear in mind that God is glorified in his creatures, angels, and saints. We glorify God by obeying God's servants such as the Jews who obeyed Moses, the Christians who listened to Paul and Peter, etc.
Many people put the Mother of Jesus down as often as they can, thinking that by degrading her they are somehow building up Jesus. They say things like:
"Mary is dead and can't help you", "Mary was just an incubator for Jesus", "Jesus put his mother down by calling her "Woman”, and "If Mary had refused Gabriel, then God would have just picked someone else".
All of that kind of talk is crazy, but they do it because they think that Catholics worship Mary as a goddess, and by putting her down, they are showing Catholics that Jesus is #1. How many people would like it if you said - "I love you, but I really can't stand your mother!"
And how many people regularly put down their own mother to reinforce the fact that their Father is #1? No one. This is nuts!
Would anyone put down the great apostles Peter and Paul to reinforce the fact that Jesus is #1? No one.
Remember, Jesus is true God and true man. And as a Jewish man, Jesus loves his mother more than anyone on earth.
The Old Testament refers to Mary in its prophecies. The first prophecy referring to Mary is found in the very opening chapters of the Book of Genesis (3:15): "I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed; she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel."
Jesus called her "Woman" all of the time to let us all know that she is the new Eve whose yes to Angel Gabriel overcame Eve's yes to the serpent in the garden.
Jesus' mother is not a goddess. In fact, the Catechism of the Catholic Church has never proclaimed Mary as a goddess. Even Catholics don't call Mary a goddess, yet many non-Catholics call her a goddess out of ignorance.
As St. Paul warned: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked” (Galatians 6:7). Or, in this case, be not deceived; the mother of Jesus is not mocked.
Mary is the daughter of God the Father, the bride of the Holy Spirit, and the mother of Jesus. That would make it almost blasphemous to put her down on every occasion. As Gabriel said, in a message from God, "Hail Mary!" Catholics agree wholeheartedly with Gabriel!
St. Maximillian Kolbe says that the Holy Spirit dwells in Mary's soul in such an ineffable manner that it goes beyond and is deeper than the union achieved between the Holy Spirit and souls by sanctifying grace in Baptism. Since Mary conceived Christ by the Holy Spirit, any blasphemous attacks against her is considered a grave sin against her Divine Spouse, the Holy Spirit.
Most of the time in the Bible, God chooses to do His work through a human, whether it's Moses, Jacob, Joseph of the Old Testament, or one of the Prophets like Isaiah or Elisha. It's no different with Mary. God allowed salvation in the person of Jesus Christ to enter into the world through Mary, even though he could have just appeared all on his own. In like manner, it shows great humility on our part to approach Jesus in the exact same way that He approached us - Through Mary. After all, if Jesus was obedient to Mary for 30 years of his life here on earth, shouldn't we imitate Him in that respect? If Mary was good enough for Jesus, who are we to say that she isn't good enough for us? Jesus Himself said that "No servant is greater than His Master".
If one is lost and needs to get somewhere, the best thing to do is to find someone who knows the way better than anyone else. Most of mankind is lost, and needs to find Jesus. Mary is the one person who knows the way better than anyone else, because she and Jesus shared the same body for 9 months, Jesus was subject to her for 30 years, they probably even look alike, and they are of one accord. Getting close to Mary is the fastest and best way to get close to Jesus. It's pure folly to even think that by getting close to Mary you are somehow getting farther away from Jesus. Jesus got his sacred Body and his precious Blood from MARY!
Catholics never have worshiped Mary as a goddess, but we do recognize that her soul, like every other soul ever made, is very much alive. People who say that Mary is dead sound more like atheists than like Christians. Mary says that her soul "magnifies the Lord", which makes Jesus clearer, more in focus, and larger. That's a great lens to be looking at Jesus through. According to Gabriel, Mary was full of grace before the incarnation of Jesus, which indicates that Mary was part of the heavenly plan all along, not a random choice.

I also have a crazy thing that happened In 1984. I worked for a women's clinic where I cleaned/repacked and sterlized the equipment after the abortions as well as taking the fetuses to the hospital crematory once a week. I was often upset over the perfect blue eyed babies- they all have blue eyes- with the crushed skulls. One girl would come by and say things to me just to upset me, like, "Do you think it's a boy or a girl? Let's name it Tommy".
I began having nightmares that I had a group of children in my care but I couldn't find one and was franticly looking for it. One morning I had a dream about going into my parent's living room where I saw this beautiful, glowing, woman. That night at dinner I tried to tell my family about the dream and my father became very angry. He thought I was making fun of him. I didn't understand. My father worked on the railroad and that morning as he tied his boots for work, he saw the woman and described her to me exactly as in my dream. I quit that job and never had the nightmare again.
I still didn't understand who the woman was until 25 years later. I was an animal shelter director, late one night a lady stopped by with a rescued dog, with hope that her priest might want the dog. I thought this is the person to ask so when he came to get the dog I explained it all to him. The priest said that it was Our Lady of Guadalupe, the protector of unborn children. It was an abortion clinic so it made sense. I asked why my dad saw her, not me, and that I only dreamed of her? The priest said that my dad saw her in order to confirm my vision otherwise I might have thought it just a dream.

Years ago I committed to take the 9-10 p.m. slot in a Catholic church on Saturday night for adoration, I did it for several years , I never experienced any mystical sensations and sometimes found it hard to endure for the hour, occasionally I would bring a friend or two, who were not Catholic or even Christian and they loved the silence and the peace, looking back it was a gift from Heaven and the greatest privilege one could be given .

In 2015, Jesus spoke to me about Adoration. I still remember Him speak to me while I write this. Jesus is the most patient, most humble, most revered being I've ever seen or experienced in my life. *I'm just crying typing this* He is simply so caring. In that vision, He looked nothing like what I see in pictures. But in was the centre of attraction to everyone.
He asked me if i want to request anything from him, but i couldn't thing of anything to ask Him. At that instance I heard a voices of a great choir singing the benediction (adoration) song. So He asked me if i hear the singing, and I said yes. Then He said I want you to always sing that song.

I believe in miracles of Mama Mary 10 years back me and my friends had 9 days novena to Mama Mary they have a small altar just a few family friends .After 9 days they offered a thanks giving and while everyone is having their food my friend's husband took a video of the altar.After the thanks giving everyone left, and some of my friends who was left behind watched the video as the husband of my friend played the video on those mostly of us who prayed the 9 days novena had seen when Mama Mary raised her open arms we who shared the 9 days novena had seen it with our eyes. The power of prayers really work for those who believe in God's prayer.Have mercy on us oh Lord .and Mama Mary please guide us and bless us in our daily lives amen
