My 8 year old enjoys watching your videos with me and she freaked when she found out you’d be there during our trip. 4 days and counting! Fingers crossed we bump into each other at the parks!

Hi Ashley, thank you for the helpful video! I do laundry on vacation, too! I will sometimes do that during the mid-day break. The laundry facilities are usually pretty empty during that time, too. It helps to not overpack, but I also think it’s easier to pack clean clothes for the trip home versus having to squeeze in dirty laundry. I didn’t know about those laundry sheets; how cool is that? I usually pack 2 Tide pods per day (just in case). I’ve actually worn a hole into a pair of flats and got another pair rained on that never dried. Both had to be thrown away! So I completely agree with having two pairs of tennis shoes for the park in case of a night torrential pour! I like to add goggles for older kids (mine are 7 and 10). I also love Imagine Ink or Uno for sitting and waiting for parades and fireworks. That is an item I always forget! Love the air travel tray cover! I like to use a carabiner to corral our Magic Bands and also our pony tail holders.
Just a plug for ponchos as we are a poncho family. We bought ponchos that are not disposable (not the trash bag material!). Which for us since we don't have a stroller anymore (teenagers now!) this works best for us. It'll go over whatever bag you have on, and still keeps you dry! These have been disney tested in DOWNPOURS! Our specific brand is not available on Amazon anymore, but there looks to be some good ones available with lots of good reviews.
We did ponchos on this last trip in January and loved them! Even kept my backpack dry! Got ours on Amazon and they Even have a pouch the fold back into! Loved them!
This is so so handy!!!!!!! I appreciate you! First time flying to Disney world with my 4 kids and I’m honestly going a little crazy thinking what else I need. This was exactly what I needed!!! Thank you so much! ❤❤❤
This was SO helpful!!! I love the ‘arrival day go-bag’ idea. My husband & I are definitely ’be prepared for everything’ kind of people and that tends to mean we over pack 😅 I feel validated that we can do that w/o overpacking.
i just binge watched your last 2 videos on prepping/packing and am rapidly jotting down notes and adding things to my amazon cart lol. thank you again! 🧳
I love all of your videos but packing, tips ,hauls and prepping for Disney are the ones I enjoy the most🧳 I will go on vacation next month ( not to Disney ) and your videos help me a lot😊. Thank you and God bless you and your family💜
Ashley you are brilliant! I love how to keep organized when things happen like seperate swim stuff and pjs incase bags are still at bell services! Thank you!
I love how you can organize and plan everything with so much time. I am trying to work on this, but end up overpacking and waiting until the night before! Thanks for the tips! 🧳
We will be going on our FIRST disney trip this summer. I sit here and watch and write down your best tips for me. We're a family of 4 as well with 2 boys. One is a 1-year-old, so his stuff will have to go in with brothers' things since he doesn't get a carry-on or personal item🙃. Need to plan real good and definitely no over packing.
Great packing ideas on how to be ready-for-anything. Stuff will happen when taking little ones. We leave soon for 7 nights. I am not a rope drop to fireworks gal anymore. i like to keep the parks to half days. when i stay 7-9 days at DVC i don't pack an outfit for everyday but only for 4 or 5 days. We plan to re-use the clothes after we wash them. We wash during our vacation to allow us to re-wear clothes.
🧳 I’m so excited to see how this trip goes!! I’ve decided to be strictly carry on and personal item with airplane travel for a while now and honestly it’s been so helpful for keeping me from overpacking! The only time I plan on bringing a full size checked bag will be for cruises.
Loved watching this! We just got back from Disney world Sunday and I’m already missing it so much. I bet you are so excited that your husband is going on this trip! 🙌🧳❤️
I’ve been trying to wrap my head around traveling with our little one (8 months) and there’s been so many helpful tips in this video!! Thank you so much for ideas like the go bag and diaper pail.
Love your haircut!! 😍 So many good packing tips!! I do pretty good not overpacking clothes and such, except for activities for my girls. I tend to pack way too many of those! I love your 3, 2, 1 idea!! I’m going to have to try it!! 🧳🙌🏻💜✨Thank you again for my Solar Buddy too!! I sent you a dm but I’m not sure if you saw it. I know you are busy!! So sweet of you!! Thank you, thank you!! I can’t wait to use it!! 🥰
Thank you!!! Hope that rule helps you too because it's so easy to overpack. Oh yay!! I'm so glad you got it!! My DM's get to be a hot mess so I apologize for missing that.
Love your videos!!!! SO HELPFUL with my kids!!! Questions: what size rain gear bag do you use from Amy’s shop? XL or L? What size is your mealtime bag? What size is your to-go med kit bag? Not the one with MEDS written on it. The one you take into the parks. Also, (haha so many specific questions) what size are your “busy bags” (the pencil cases) for the girls? Thank youuuuuuu!!!
You’ll definitely need the fans. I think the cold is over now, the days feel like summer again in the afternoon already. We’re local and we’ll be there at the same time you all will. I’m excited to be able to enjoy the pools though! The last few time we went the pool and splash pads were not an option. It was just too cold. We are planning on bringing a pair of pants/leggings each and a light sweatshirt for each of us but I don’t think we will use them, maybe at night. We’ll see. It’s been hot though man I feel like the cold didn’t last as long as it did last year. We even went at the end of January and it was legitimately hot during the day like I wanted to go back to the resort and change into a tank top. It also looks like the rain chance will stop on our first day there and it should be overcast/clear for the rest of the trip, so maybe we’ll buy lotto 😂
Finally bought the packing cubes and used them last week house/dog sitting for my brother aka no empty dressers to unpack into living out of my suitcase for a week was so much easier with the packing cubes!!!
@@michellebroussard5503 they are the ones in almost all her videos, bagsmart on Amazon she prob has a link in this video or any of her other packing videos

Hey Girl! So excited to see this video! 🧳 I am currently on the struggle bus with our luggage and trying to downsize. Quick question for you, how has your experience been with the mattresses on the pack and plays at Disney? I've heard horror stories that they dont have any/theyre super thin, so I was packing a travel mattress for our toddler to add to it. He's never slept in a pack and play so I want him to be comfortable, but I'm also thinking it might not be necessary? 🤷🏼♀️ Thanks once again for the amazing video! 💕
Hey!! Okay so I've not found any of them any thinner than our pack and play at home or others I've seen in stores. You could also request a mini crib if available at the resort for something with a little bit thicker mattress. Hope that helps! :)
Thank you so much!! That helps a ton. @@thepixiedustedmom i dont think she has that specific type of bag anymore. THen large one with the zipper in the front where you put your rain gear in. =[
When you back all carry one how do you go through the airport with it all especially if you have the stroller too? We are debating to do all carry ons or check a bag because we don’t know if we will have enough hands with a 2 year old and 8 months old with a stroller.
Have you ever had issues when packing in personal items and carry ons only with them saying your items were “to big” I once packed my carryon and because I had the extender zipper open they told me it was to large
i’m thinking 150 days ahead 😅 almost there… right? 🙌🏻 whenever i go, i always buy an extra shirt so i can have a souvenir till i go again, so sometimes if i overpack.. i cant fit that last shirt!!😭😭

Oh thank you!
🧳 safe travels!
Thank you!!
9 days away from our Disney trip and I am planning to pack this weekend so this was super helpful❤ 🧳
i’m thinking 150 days ahead 😅 almost there… right? 🙌🏻
whenever i go, i always buy an extra shirt so i can have a souvenir till i go again, so sometimes if i overpack.. i cant fit that last shirt!!😭😭
It will get here sooner than you think!
I have less than 3 weeks til my next trip!! 🧳
Ahh that's so exciting!!
🧳 excited for your trip! Love all of the packing tips and having the magic bands handy, I’m guilty of packing them and we’re scrambling opening all of the bags to find them to get into our room. And I’m always so impressed when the 2 slumber pods and toddler air mattress fit in the Mary poppins bag! 🤯
Gotta have at least one magicband within reach! Me too!! I know it's going to fit but always impressed haha.
What size of the boxy bag do you have for your rain gear? Large or XL? Thanks!
I use the large size for our rain gear
🧳 Have you used the carrier with Lucy? (Also, love your hair!)
Yes, and it works great with her too! We bought a second one so Dean and I can both have one for the girls.
Hey! Just found your channel, I was wondering if you knew if Disney Gateway Hotels have early access to the park?
Welcome! Here is a list of resorts included disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/early-entry/
I found those collapsible baskets at dollar tree
That's awesome!
🙌 🧳 Love videos like these and I’m 💯 ready for vacay mode
Thank you!! Yes!!!! Vacay mode is the best!
Do u think your princess sling bags holds more than a lounge fly mini backpack
I wouldn't say more but about the same amount I'd say.
Do you have the FUL 29 Minnie case? I’m looking at it but it’s cutting it so close to southwest checked limits!
Yes, I do have that suitcase and it works fine when we've checked bags.
Where is the purple sweatshirt you’re wearing in the video from?!? Can you please link it too?
Girl it's a Walmart special rstyle.me/+Zi7T2kv4k_2lIE0kNgm_1A

Thank you!

Never to early to start prepping! I mean it's half the fun anyway.
