Oh, Kyla, I just remembered something else about this movie. I thought it was a horrible decision for them to not kiss at the end. There was a kiss in the script, but Sterling Knight said he wouldn't kiss her because the actress who plays Jessica, I think her name is Tammin Sursok, she was like 15 or something. Personally, I think it was a stupid decision for these 2 to go through this whole movie together, we see this develop for over an hour, and they don't even kiss.
