Underrated doesn't begin to describe it. I main Pit, have been a longtime believer in his potential, and can definitely not deny that watching Zackray pilot him is a work of art. He excellently showcases Pit's ability to trap, edgeguards with arrows and multihit dropzones with disjointed aerials, his ability to abuse his tools that minimize disadvantage, his ability to harass with arrows even while recovering, the ability to rack up damage quickly with consistent BnBs and different routes of extentions across many percentage ranges, and his solid kill confirms at respectable percentages against much of the cast (if he hasn't outright gimped their recovery even earlier). The best way I can describe it is that Pit has a very deep kit disguised as a "basic" one.

@ I believe that why he took a break competitively. Also he probably could but it doesn’t hurt to have a backup plan, or something to do career wise if he grows up and gets bored of gaming.
Funniest part is. Zackray doesn't use the advanced tech that much. He doesn't intentionally go for the shenanigans Pits have. Up air drag downs. Reverse hit nair to grab stuff. And a bunch more. But he is so good in fundies he can just play the character lol 😂

Yeah, any move you try to challenge with just can't pass through the Orbitar or it does nothing. Straight upward moves like MSF's up air do way better than Roy's wide arcs
I mean any character can be unfun to fight against that’s purely how you feel during the game. I’d say it’s pretty weird to dislike him as a character entirely cause your own experience notwithstanding he has a mostly inoffensive moveset
