I got myself a pair of Mini Pros as a backup to my Liberty 3 Pros. Right now Mini Pros with ANC On actually have more Bass and sound better than with anc off.
Have been using the T2 for over a year now and especially for that price they are pretty sweet. I paid $28 on Prime day after a 40% coupon that came in the box (Soundpeats just refunded me the amount from my Amazon order). The ANC is pretty amazing on those things - I compared them to Jabra 75T, Earfun Free Pro, Edifier TWS1, Sony WF1000XM3 and currently have the XM4 (though briefly). The T2's ANC beats the first 3 by a huge margin and would rival that of the two Sony's (yes, seriously) if not for the fact that the T2 has a lot of white noise going on when in Noise Cancelling mode. If you are in a loud environment anyway (traffic, airplane, train etc.), it doesn't really matter, but if you want complete nice and quiet (a bit of traffic noise outside your window, AC running, etc.), it just isn't clean enough to be considered great. So I do prefer the ANC on the XM4. In UI controls the T2 wins as well against both Sony's - you can do almost everything on them (except "play previous"), while with the Sony app, for some strange reason, you have to miss out on either volume controls, or ANC/Ambient toggle (which lack an off setting) or playback controls + voice assistant. What's baffling to me is, that the Sony has 8 options in total mapped to touch controls (hold, tap, double tap, triple tap) which could fit in two sets, one for the left bud and one for the right - however, the geniuses at Sony decided to split those into 3 sets, one with 4 options (play/pause, next, previous, voice assistant) and two with 2 options each (tap: anc/ambient, hold: focus mode (goes into ambient mode for as long as you hold + reduces music volume) and on the other set tap: volume up, hold: volume down) - and you can only have 1 set on each bud at any given time. Bizzare! The T2 has tap on the left bud for volume down and volume up on the right one, double tap on either bud for play/pause, triple tap for voice assistant (boyj buds) and hold for 3 seconds on the left bud toggles between and, ambient mode and normal mode, while hold on the right bud skips forward. No skip to previous, but other than that a very good scheme. Only the Jabra had what I would consider perfect controls (all of the above + play previous). Earfun was very similar to the T2, including no play previous. I'll probably try the Galaxy Buds2 Pro next and will most likely send the XM4 back. If the Galaxy doesn't impress me, either, I'll keep using my T2s for a while longer, until something new comes out. Just disappointed to see that the T3 is a stem design... hoped it would be an evolution of the T2 with some kinks ironed out, like cleaner ANC (less white background noise) and maybe a "play previous" control option (in place of one of the redundant play/pause or voice assistant controls on either bud).

I've been playing a bit with earbuds lately, comparing cheap sets mostly. Surprising thing I've found is using a sweep generator, some of the not the best sounding buds I can hear the higher and lower frequencies where as the better sounding buds don't reproduce those frequencies.

I like features such as automatic noise cancelling but such features can become rather fiddley because on restart after charging in the pod container, the defaults might not suit your immediate needs. For example, automatic noise cancelling is probably enabled and you might not want that. Some are large and unwieldy, easily dislodging from your ears, not shaped well for your ears, etc. So I feel like an expensive pair is higher risk than the lower priced models because you must try them for several days before you'll know if they work for you.
“Wiggle bud around a bit more”…the earbud is in backward or the wrong ear. The logo should be by the cheek, not by the back of the ear. The first shot of the bug in his right ear was correctly placed, but the left ear in this shot is backward.
Great comparison video. I have the Mini Pros and enjoy the audio quality, but the fit is definitely odd. Not sure if I will keep them for the long haul but still testing. Just tried them going upstairs while this video was on downstairs and experienced no loss or lag, so that's another +!
Awesome video bro 😎 Glad to see another reviewer pointing out the shallow fit of the Mini Pro, I’ve had to go for SpinFit 360 to rectify it. Not experiencing the same EQ shift as yourself but this is why we need multiple viewpoints 👍🏻
My experience with EQ shift on my Mini Pros is the exact opposite of yours. When I turn on noise cancelling there is a noticeable boost in their bass response. Weird! Also I managed to achieve a decent fit using Spin Fit CP-1025 eartips.

Hey thanks! It’s a tricky one cause fit is hard to know unless you try the buds out. The mini pro would be best suited for most ears though but the best sound would be the H1

Hello I just got the sound Pete's mini pro and I just have to say I'm pretty disappointed in them I came from getting the tozo T6 which was a $25 headphone on Amazon I love them they were great but I had them for a couple years so I tried the sound Pete's out and I just can't get a proper seal no matter which of the tips I use on my ear it's mainly the right one it feels like it's just like a gap secondly the sound on it is just okay at best like the tozo I feel like they outperform them and this is a cheaper the headphone that's lesser known and I didn't download the the sound Pete app yet cuz it wants me to register I just want to know if it's worth it to download the app will it make a huge difference like does it have a EQ so I can change it cuz it is just it's pretty disappointing even with the earbuds in and ANC activated I feel like the tozo T6 has a better noise canceling just by the seal alone then the sound pizza does and the toes oh does not have any ANC on it so that's saying quite a bit please help or give any suggestions I'd appreciate it

I have both the T2 and mini pro, T2 is really a clear winner in terms of it's ANC Although I would miss how the T2 would automatically connect to my phone whenever I open it's lid while the mini pro I need to take it out. Mini pro is able to save the changes of it's ambient/ANC when ever you put in it's case while the T2 doesnt, sad case.

Man I wish I could have the same enthusiasm for the xm4's as everyone else. I have no trouble getting them to fit but I notice that a lot of the typical sounds that would normally be blocked by my t2's are being let in by the xm4's.

But I noticed the t2's were blocking up more mid and upper frequencies (voices) than the xm4's which block basically 0. They're good for deep droning noises, but with good ear tips T2's still win out for me.

Not sure about T3 or Mini (you haven't specified which one you are referring to), but T2 has no controls for Play Previous. It's still a pretty good UI scheme, basically only sacrificing that one option.
Interesting. Can't say I notice EQ shift at all on my T2. Music sounds the same but it's like closing a thick door the way background noise just disappears. Amazing ANC at any price. Probably gonna pick up the Mini Pro at some point, the sound quality seems all the rave

For me the T3 have great noise cancellation. They fit me great. They seam as good as my XM4s
I have all three and found T3 to be the best overall specially with voice call, fit comfort and sound quality is equal to Mini Pro

Agreed the fit is very odd but for the price i got i dont have any regrets other than it doesn't have app support.

That’s odd. I have the mini pro and I like the sound a lot more with noise canceling on. When I turn it off, the bass disappears. Crazy.

I don't think IPX-5 is good enough for me because I sweat a lot at the gym so I have the tozo t6 and that has IPX 8 and that they're in pretty solid

The T2's are the best by far. I've had mine for almost a year now and use them weekly. For the price they cannot be beat.

This happens with any ANC earbud, about on average compared to most. You’ll only notice it with no music playing

Interesting. Can't say I notice EQ shift at all on my T2. Music sounds the same but it's like closing a thick door the way background noise just disappears. Amazing ANC at any price.
Probably gonna pick up the Mini Pro at some point, the sound quality seems all the rave

Looks like the Soundpeats Mini Pro are an excellent value compared to the other Soundpeats ANC models. I was able to pick them up when they were originally discounted so that's the icing on the cake. Thanks for another awesome Picky review! 🙌

Since I got mines with 100 batteries I don't want to change it for less than that..
Thanx man, bought the T2 for my father, i use the soundheiser momentum 2 and he wanted 1 to be good with noise canceling cause uses on his business trips on airplanes just to watch his series and music but he didnt wanted something a top tier... it will be here next week
