I was thrilled to visit Seeds Community Garden back in Nov 2022, and seeing it again on this week's program brought happy tears and excitement to me! You give me hope that our community garden can be like Seeds one day. That it is possible
What a fantastic project. Love the space they have created together - from a patch of bare lawn to a multi function environment where the whole community benefits, and is enriched. 🥰
I have a brother with severe intellectual disabilities. Programs like this are incredible and bring me to tears when I think about what a difference it would make to someone like my brother. Before Covid my brother accessed a program on a small farm where he got to spend time with farmers and community members and learn to care for different animals. I’ve never seen my brother so happy. I reckon he would enjoy the gardening one too. This is so special and exactly what we need in our country! This is also the creative and inclusive kind of thing that can be achieved when the NDIS is working properly for clients, providers, and the taxpayer. 😊❤ everyone benefits including the environment and the economy! Keep up the great work! ❤
There needs to be MORE OF THIS, in every city and town, oh wait yeah that's right, fkn Gov Councils ect will keep that from happening, it's people doing something for themselves for almost free, on their own terms . In a right world, Community Gardens should be everywhere
This story brings tears of joy to me. It's a beautiful environment they've created ❤ We need many more.
Your beautiful comment sums it all up ❤️

This does bring joy, thanks GA and Jane. I would love to be a part of that.
What a great community project! I'd love to see similar ones dotted around the suburbs.
I'll volunteer for one around the Hawthorn area. (No Car)
It's good to encourage a family member to accompany * special staff for working in the garden
