If you are trying to replace or remove the starter on Dodge Dart we will show you what needs to be done to replace or remove the starter and where the starter is located. WE WERE ABLE TO REMOVE THE STARTER WITHOUT REMOVING THE INTAKE ON ANOTHER DODGE DART FROM UNDERNEATH. We demonstrated how to remove and replace the starter on 2013 Dodge Dart but it should work for the whole generation Dodge Dart.

you can get to everything from the bottom. Just wiggle your arm around and you can get a small wrench in there.
Watched him take the entire intake manifold off the car wondering where the fuck the starter was and how much money this was gonna cost me the entire video just for him to realize you don’t have to take it off and it’s just 2 bolts 🤙🏽

Took a bit extra time but I removed my throttle body without doing anything else but removing the battery and the battery mount
Do This:
Remove four bolts holding battery and battery casing in.
Remove the battery.
Move the casing out of the way.
Jack up the car and leave on jack stands.
Remove screw from the top using 14or 15mm socket.
Do not use deep sockets.
Use an extension.
Remove bolt on the bottom using 14/15mm socket.
Remove wire harness on the bottom that is yellow.
Remove top wire.
If you don’t remove the top wire it will not move. The wire is holding the starter in place.
Remove starter and reverse steps to complete.
This should take 45-1hr. Do not do what they showed in the video.

You guys always do good shit but this is nonsense imo. There was no need to remove the ENTIRE ENGINE, that's just so much work and pointless as you are able to remove the starter without the removal of the engine. I get it's a tight space but for the average person that's not really realistic. You're whole concept is to help average people do these jobs, all you did here is scare people. In that case you should've just told dudes to take it in to the shop and not deal with it. I get maybe u did that so people can get a better view, but it would've been more informative if you wouldn't done it while on the car. I've done it.
I think what he was saying is they can more easily show you where things are with the camera when the engine is out of the car. They didn't say you have to remove the engine to take the starter out. They just do it that way so It's easier for everyone to see what they are doing.
@@Turkeyfire these guy's entire channel is about tutorials; helping your average guy do it at his place. they have great tutorials too, I just felt this was over done with the removal of the entire engine. You're right it's much easier to show the entire engine and where things are, but that doesn't make it any easier for those that are here to learn what steps you'll have to take and what the process will like. This way they really didn't give a proper tutorial as to "how to," it was more of a, "it's here and you just take it off"
You are right this video is terrible. You can remove the starter on this car with just removing the plastic belly pan. I know because I’ve done the 2.4 and 2.0 dart this way . All from the bottom . I have videos for it now too . All this work he shows is a joke.
You literally can do the starter with just removing the belly pan . Skip this video and go to a other one. The 2.0 and 2.4 the rear bolt is hard tog et to but is accessible.
Anyway you could show us without taking out the whole fucking engine?

Easier to remove battery, computer and lower tranny mount bolt. Then just remove it from being under the car than the top.

This is not how you replace the starter . You can access the starter from under the vehicle on the drivers side no need to take all this apart crazy wrong
